I don’t know if anyone watches Rachel Ballinger or not, but is anyone else bothered by just how much she’s been traveling lately? Was checking out some of the comments on her vlog from 3 days ago, and quite a few people seem to think that she’s been traveling a bit much. She’s been to Hawaii 3 times in such a short amount of time and to several other places in between - seeing many of her friends. Plus her girlfriend has been traveling as well. I believe they are vax’d, but still. A lot of people in Hawaii are begging tourists to not flock there. I was wondering if anyone else finds it problematic? Not only that, her brother just had a kid, and I don’t think that she’s met him yet - and Colleen is a few months away from having her twins. Maybe it’s me, but I’d be kind of hurt that my sister wouldn’t want to / make no effort to see my kids. It seems as though she’s putting all of her friends before her family these days. I also feel like her friends are kind of using her / her house? I get that she’s out of a toxic relationship and wanted to live her life (from what it sounded like, she never really could) but it’s getting to be waaay too much. Idk, I used to enjoy watching her content, but now not so much. It also makes me wonder if her siblings (Chris & Colleen) are a little annoyed by her current lifestyle in the face of a pandemic, when they are super safe.
Is anyone following whatever is going on with him? I just caught a Philip DiFranco video about this face leak bs and I'm looking for tea.
I just watched Emily’s 2 hour video.
Please tell me Anthony and Shannon are being prosecuted?
Hey y’all, I’ve only been on yt obsession train for less than a year and boy howdy it’s been a ride. I even got back on Twitter to stay in the know and it’s all a fucking mess. Before I was a yt fan, a year ago, when shit was going down, I had no clue and it meant nothing to me or any other person not in that sphere. Tbh it’s just not that important and that is true now. While there are positives like the help social media helped to find Gabby Petito (just one recent example and I know that isn’t without its issues with women of colour going missing at an alarming rate compared to one white woman) but it’s just such a dirty destructive world. The past week has been just insane with the amount of dragging, preaching, apologies, excuses and so much more. And every day I waKe up to see if Trisha has admitted to lying, whether GH has abused another female creator, to see if Keemstar gets his comeuppance and it’s so stupid - who fucking cares right? My life is literally the same whether that happens or not. And I was there to view, comment and pretend that I was the better person and that’s just cringey. I’d like to pull back from it all and in my heading I put drama in quotations inspired by Swoop/Spanky because some of the drama isn’t drama, it’s dangerous and that’s real. I’m hoping to start my own channel soon, a social justice project to bring awareness to black deaths in custody in Australia and I am a little afraid because of what I have seen. My past is not perfect and the channel is to bring awareness and use my white privilege to amplify problems faced by First Nations Australians. It’s a process of actively working on being anti-racist and at 44, I know I will always be fighting against the ingrained colonialism and white supremacist ideals that are ingrained in Australian society. I may be off on a tangent here but to bring it back to yt, I don’t think the majority of youtubers started channels for money, clout, fame, etc, but a lot seem to sell their souls for that once they get a taste. So what do you think? Are we doomed from the start? I’m interested in what people think.
Okay, so if anyone remembers, a couple of years ago Sam Pepper when he was still doing prank videos had lots of allegations hit against him.
I remember when this was a time when Laci Green was still relevant, and I think it was her video that was one of the most viral ones. The thing about it, is that I don't remember really anything else coming out of it. He's still continued on being on social media, and even joined Ice Poseidon's streaming group, and is still a YouTuber up to this day.
So what really happened? Was he innocent the whole time? I don't remember him ever going to court for his allegations.
She's a Chinese American youtuber who is very into celebrating her Chinese heritage and loves to dress up and cosplay a lot. I used to watch her videos when I was younger because I enjoyed her sewing tutorials back when I used to be into that. And I've been following her on and off ever since. There was a lot of controversy when she married a dude that was old enough to be her father. I thought it was weird too but they seemed to be a happy couple (in the beginning) so like who am I to judge? Some of the videos she posted with her husband were really strange, like they seemed to be borderline p*dophilic. He would often body shame her, and control her, and treat her like a child and sometimes yell at her impatiently. About a year ago she had her first baby with him and ever since then her husband has been totally absent. He is never mentioned in her videos anymore or anything. Does anyone know what happened? It seems like he just used her up until she had a baby and now he can't fulfill his little girl fetish with her anymore so he left her. I feel so bad for her because she genuinely seems like such a sweet person. And now she's (probably) a single mom all by herself with a newborn and no husband. Her husband also has some bad rumors about him floating around the internet, but they are just rumors so I'm not going to go into them.
I’ve rewatching his old docuseries cause I generally miss that era of my life. I saw a comment saying he groomed kids?
It’s been such a long time I can’t remember exactly what he did again, elaborate all his allegations for me?
What do you think gonna happen now trisha faked another break down on the Internet just to get away with the lies. I never liked or believed trisha but there a lot of people who do and the way she is trying to get away from taking accountability is disgusting. I hope for once she faces the consequences of her action.
I watched a few of his videos back in the day when he was super popular. I never understood him or his videos. He always gave me psychopath vibes. His videos and skits were so “sparratic” for lack of a better term and never made any sense to me. It’s like he was mentally insane or something. And he would make SO many videos. He would just pump them out constantly. Like several each day on each one of his channels. It seems as if all his followers and supporters were teenage girls. And anyone who dared to criticize him got attacked in the comments by his teenage girl fans. And I remember once he did this thing where he would have girls submit photos of their bodies to him for him to rate in his videos. They were usually photos of them in their underwear and like lots of underage girls would submit photos to him as well since that was his main audience. I don’t understand why a grown ass man thought that would be a good idea. Like even if I’m giving him the benefit of the doubt here and believing that his intentions were in no way sexual, it STILL doesn’t make sense why a grown man like him would be rating photos of underaged girl’s bodies like that... or for him to even think that was ok. Recently there’s been a lot more drama surrounding him and he even has a documentary about him. It’s all so weird but it’s something I predicted a long time ago.
Youtube channel and her twitter both are down. I was in the middle of listening to her latest podcast that had nothing to do with the Gabbie Hanna drama and was about her discovering she is gay, I was really enjoying it to. went back to listen to the end and everything is gone. Is this the work of petty Gabbie Hanna Fans?
