Last Act Whispers - avaliable on amazon

Hey everyone! How’s it going? I finally published the second edition of my book—revised, edited, and even better!

A little while ago, I mentioned here that I published a book featuring a bisexual main character. I think it’s so important to have more LGBTQ+ characters in fiction, romance, horror, and all genres. And I’m talking about stories with LGBTQ+ characters that go far beyond their identity, where the plot isn’t just about coming out or seeking acceptance from family and friends.

So, I’m here to share my book, Last Act Whispers! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DLJ9HK76

“In the glittering world of Hollywood, Lola Greene was an icon, adored by millions. But beneath the spotlight lay a story of forbidden loves, heartbreak, and the search for redemption. As her life unravels, secrets from her past emerge, casting doubt on everything—and everyone—she trusted. Will the truth about Lola’s final act set her free, or will it destroy the legacy she fought so hard to build?”

If you’re looking for a fresh, character-driven story that truly values diversity, this book is for you. It would be an honor for me if you’d give the book a chance and read it! And its only 0.99 cents!

Scary Stories to Make You Scared of Stories - a comedy horror anthology

Cover

I've been a late night TV writer for a decade and recently co-authored a satirical book of scary stories with another writer - it's like those Scary Stories to Tell In the Dark books, but it makes fun of a lot of horror tropes. Sometimes stupid funny, sometimes smart funny. Adult language, so not suitable for children!

Horror fans and non-horror fans alike should be able to enjoy the book.

Here's an Amazon link, but you can order it anywhere you get books, even your local bookshop:

Beliefs shattered, two magically linked are called to seek truth.

Seventeen-year-old Will escapes from prison six years after his false conviction for murder. Found by a knight who lets Will serve as a squire, Will takes the knight’s mercy and follows him to war. He’ll protect against infidels, proving to the kingdom he’s not the monster they assume he is, and be seen kindly again.

As a child, when he burned a souk, Ahmed was terrified. Now sixteen, Ahmed is confident he’s improved. Seeking to become grand vizier and bring prestige to his family is everything he thought he wanted. The sultan’s test remains: bring an enemy to the capital. He heads to war believing that an enemy’s capture is a small price for the sultan’s blessing. They’re dangerous anyway.

Gems of powerful magic bring them together as kingdom and sultanate ravage each other over ignorance and religious zeal, nearing collapse. They’re mortal enemies, their monarchs say, but when Will and Ahmed meet amid fear and mistrust they learn to like each other. Their actions no longer seem right and their gems show a resolution. But who are two boys to effect change when those more likely have failed?

Dawn of Unity explores themes of mentorship, friendship of those once enemies, the path to understanding, war, and more in a medieval European and Middle Eastern inspired fantasy world.

Please note that this novel contains scenes of torture, PTSD, and one scene involving violence within a place of worship.

It is called "Weird of Agintar"

Agintar, born and abandoned in ritual, must shoulder his father's prophecy. The road he travels is pursued by powers beyond flesh; and only his daughter's love turns him to the mirror of his heart.

If for no other reason alone, click the link and check out my cover art and title font that I created myself.

I wrote a poetry book on grief after the loss of my soulmate. 100% of net profit is being donated to local animal shelters in his name

My name is Lianna Samoyedny and I published a book called If Grief Could Speak: A Collection of Poems. It is available on Amazon for paperback for $8.99

My boyfriend passed away very unexpectedly in April. I didn’t know what to do but began writing poetry to process grief, as well as also write poems about him and the way I love him. I thought it could help others in early grief when it’s really difficult to find things that empathize with your experience otherwise. And if not I was happy to create something in honor of him that will live on beyond my physical life. Proof that he existed, he matters, and is still loved.

All net proceeds are being donated every two months to local animal shelters for cats and dogs to help them with food supplies and medicine, toys, litter and so on which I will share on my social media.

Bosnia-Herzegovina - Non-fiction - Available on Kindle, Kobo and Google Books!

"Bosnia-Herzegovina" was originally published in French in Geneva, Switzerland in 1917, as a way of familiarising the reading public with the land that was often in the headlines in the late XIX and early XX centuries, but was still largely an unknown. Written from a Serbian perspective on the history and the wartime situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Nikola Stojanović was able to provide a unique insight, as he was elected as a representative in the Assembly, the primarily ceremonious parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina under Austria-Hungary, during the only elections for it during the Austro-Hungarian rule. Most of the Serb members of the Assembly ended up imprisoned for their political views or were stuck in the country during the First World War, giving Stojanović a rare voice which was able to represent the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina with a relative insider's perspective.

Escape Velocity - YA Near Future SciFi- Available as ebook or paperback on Amazon

https://imgur.com/a/tLMffpm

Escape velocity: the minimum speed needed for an object to escape from gravitational influence
Parallax: the effect where the position of an object appears to differ when viewed from different angles

15-year-old Savanna Gilson, a quick-tempered loner, prickles at any threat, real or imagined, and fears she may never escape the pull of Earth’s gravity or, let’s face it, most people.

With her parents en route to Antarctica, Savanna savors time with her grandfather in his workshop. When Gramp shows signs of dementia, it upends her plans. She is forced to participate in the Parallax competition, giving her a shot at her dream—the Junior Astronaut Program—but leaving her five hours away from her most important connection.

Then Gramp spills a secret. Or is it his dementia? Armed with her great-grandmother's diary from WWII, Savanna's on a mission to uncover the truth, Parallax or no Parallax, before Gramp's fading memory shatters their bond.

This ultra-near-future story, interwoven with excerpts from the WWII diary, poses the challenge of risking friendship and rediscovering trust. Without that, Savanna’s dream could slip away, leaving her alienated, stuck alone on Planet Earth.

Tropes: The Outsider, Family secret, Dual timeline, First contact, Nanotech,

EMBERS OF TOMORROW: Tales from the Wasteland - Kindle Edition

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D1C9ML9Y

Fiction - Post Apocalyptic collection of stories (Inspired to "Fallout" movie)

In the aftermath of civilization's fall, humanity perseveres. This collection of stories explores the myriad ways people survive, adapt, and find hope in a world forever changed. From the last oasis in an endless desert to the neon-lit ruins of a once-great city, from the diary of a vault dweller to the struggles of wasteland farmers and the ethical dilemmas faced by scavengers, these tales paint a vivid picture of life after the apocalypse.

But these are not just stories of survival. They are tales of rebirth, of the indomitable human spirit that finds ways to thrive even in the harshest conditions. They speak to our deepest fears about the fragility of our world, while also celebrating our capacity for resilience, innovation, and compassion.

"Embers of Tomorrow" is more than just an anthology; it's the beginning of a journey. This first volume sets the stage for a series that will continue to explore the vast and varied landscape of the post-apocalyptic genre.
