So, once every few years I am compelled to watch the video for the song Liquid Dreams. If you haven't seen it, it is insane and here: Beware: Boy Band Inside
I had the idea to write a fake oral history a long time ago and finally did it. Read here: http://benjaminstearns.com/fiction/liquiddreams, hopefully laugh.

So I published my first book the other day.
It's called: Binary Counting For Kids
It is an illustrated children's educational book teaching a lesson for binary counting with ones and zeros, written for an early elementary audience.
I published the book through KDP Select, and have it on Kindle exclusively for the time being.
I put it on a free promotion for the weekend and it got 70 downloads, no reviews. One of my relatives put up a review but it takes 40 hours to go through. I have posted on various subs with this account. Any advice to continue marketing?
If anyone has seen Elon Musk's recent Neuralink presentation, it just so happens that I wrote a book about it!
Actually, I recently co-authored a book about Neuralink-like technology and its effect on what work life will look like in the future. The book, IN PURSUIT OF UTOPIA, was written with my late best friend Jack, who was a Dartmouth dropout turned entrepreneur who was so dispossessed by the future that he saw coming as a result of this technology that he took his own life.
It's with our book that I hope I can crystallize his views on the world so that maybe he can still impact the world, from wherever he may be.
The book is available on Amazon for $2.99, because it's about spreading the ideas, not the money.
It can be found here:
If anyone gets a chance to read the book and has feedback in order to better deliver the message, please contact me at cameronwillison@gmail.com or DM.
It’s gritty YA urban fantasy lesbian romance between Naomi, a republican senator’s daughter, and Ryn, essentially an elder god in human form.
A warning right off the bat, It can be dark (TW: Discussions of rape and paedophilia, and some fairly brutal violence) but it walks a delicate line of not dipping into being gratuitous or bleak, with the enough levity to balance the darkness without being tonally inconsistent.
The story proper begins when, after bringing a village girl back to life, a weaken Ryn is captured by a gang of nuclear arms smuggles, and the later rescued by the US military. The military mistakes her for a feral child, and brings her back to the US. There’s an ancient spell that makes her subject to human laws, so she can’t just escape from the institution they place her in. Luckily for her, 18 months later, funding cuts force the institution closed, and Ryn is released into a group home. With her newly regained freedom, she goes back to her purpose in life; Hunting and consuming monsters both human and supernatural. On one of her night time hunts, she runs across Naomi and finds out that a cabal of spirits is targeting her for assassination. Naomi is rather pretty and her soul smells nice, so Ryn makes an unbreakable vow to protect her, and the story goes from there.
I love Ryn so much. She’s an anti hero that doesn’t “tolerate the stink of torture, rape, and murder, the screams of the innocent weak, or the arrogance of the evil strong”. She’s powerful and old beyond human comprehension, but her time in isolation has left her in a state of arrested development putting her emotionally in line with the age she looks. Part of her want’d nothing to do with humans, but another part of her is lonely and just wants to be accepted, and she’s worried that if she shows Naomi what she really is, she’ll be rejected.
Naomi on the other hand, slowly falls in love with Ryn, but won’t admit it to herself due to having a bad case of compulsory heterosexuality. She has her whole life planned out, and being gay wasn’t on that plan.
It’s honestly my favourite book, and as a librarian, that means something. It’s free on kindle Unlimited if I’ve peeked your interest.

Hey All,
Please check out this new, talented Young Novelist, Alessio Cala.
The writer of the Novel “Forgotten Liberty”.
A bit about it:
The story takes place eight years after the discovery of ‘Autark,’ a newly discovered island used to house a self-sufficient community study, that aims to reintegrate an older and simpler way of life. Frank and Annie are a middle-aged couple living as farmers for trade. The balance is upset when a band of raiders flood the shores of Autark and their livelihood is placed under threat. They now find themselves on the run and are also tasked with the responsibility of keeping a certain escapee child soldier, out of harms way.
There are slight supernatural themes in this, but there is also a greatly understood and expressed attitude towards what the world is like in some ways. Alessio has done well to have portrayed this in his Novel.
I’ve placed a link below. There are two versions available for purchase, either on Kindle or Paperback. It’s worth a read and if you do, it would be great if you are able to review it when you have read it. ^_^
