If you had this class and did this essay I have some questions.
If anyone can help that would be much appreciated!!!
I saw this really good volleyball player the other day. Not sure if he is a laurier graduate who just comes back to play volleyball with us kids, but I heard he was looking for a team.
He is kind of old, not sure if he is balding or if he has some sort of medical condition, but I want to see if he is still looking for a team.
I'm currently an SSW (Social service work) student with a 4.0 (A+) entering my second year; I'm planning on applying to enter into 3rd year BSW at the Brantford campus and have some questions:
Any advice would be appreciated!!
Laurier is known as one of the top party schools in Canada. And to be fair, i like that.
I am going into health sciences this next year at WLU Waterloo campus and I want to party, I like to party. It’s fun!
So I was wondering if the party scene in wlu is still the same as it was like 6 years ago. Bc I was on their Instagram and saw some of the craziest parties happening.
Anyone know if there are still some rlly crazy, fun and hellish parties around at wlu?
Hey so i got accepted and checked it and I accidentally pressed no coop when I wanted coop. Is it to late to change it. I emailed them and am waiting for response
Is there a presentation for 353? If so is it required for everyone to do it?
I'm from town, and i'm wondering if staying in res first year at laurier is really worth it. I'm focused on getting a good education but I still want to have a good experience overall. Any opinions?
Hey guys ima wanna make a study group for these two courses. Please pm or drop your IG in the comments so I can make a gc.
I took CP102 knowing it was a bird and that the final exam wasn’t so bad if you had an A4 cheatsheet. It explicitly says on the syllabus that we can indeed bring one, but now we’re only given the notice that we can’t have one?
I thought I saw it would come out mid November, but I just checked and there's nothing there. Anyone have theirs, or know when it comes out?
Does anybody know what this could be for? I was charged it at some point today, but I didn’t leave the house or purchase anything
I was just wondering if I have to take CP216 in winter of second year. If I don't, will I be removed from the co-op program?
If anyone has intro to physics geo (gg101) with professor Michael Bitton, can they plz tell me what is one of the 6 study methods to take the bonus mark photo with. Imma be honest I haven’t been to lecture in like 3 weeks so I deff missed it. If anyone has or had this course and knows what I’m talking abt plz help greatly appreciated 🙏
Will we be able to see out Bu111 Mark before entering the final exam?
How is everyone studying for the final? What are you guys studying and how do you guys feel? If any prior students can add feedback help that'd be nice.
does anyone have solutions they can send me pls
I'm a second year cs student and I had some questions regarding the PEP Co-op offered at Laurier.
Is it tough at all to get in, in terms of required GPA (What would be considered a safe GPA?) and interview process?
I heard from a friend that you're able to do multiple different internships totalling to 12-16 months through PEP instead of one 12-16 month long internship (e.g: two 8 month internships, four 4 month), is this true?
What type of companies and roles are offered in PEP, do you have access to the same jobs as the normal co-op portal?
If anyone has a rough number, what's the placement rate for PEP students?
Any answers would be greatly appreciated
Hi everyone,
i am trying to upload my documents onto LORIS to apply to a program. They have a ‘Review’ button which is supposed to give me a pdf of my entire application but when I click on the button it simply refreshes the page and nothing happens. Has anyone else experienced this?
I have the final exam coming up in less than two weeks and actually have no idea how to study for this ive seen people mention quizlet, but the exam is all multiple choice so does he use a test bank? Also is it worth it to read the textbook? Please help!!!!!!
Im feeing super anxious about this exam and feel like im going to fail, 10 questions no partial credit. Does anyone have any tips how to study for this exam? I feel like the textbook questions aren’t enough and are not similar to the previous exam he has posted.
I just want a passing grade if that’s even possible tbh.
I'm planning to apply for Political science with co-op. I've heard it shares co-op with U of Waterloo. Is it a good Co-op program?
I got into both Laurier data science as well as Brock data science (computational) and analytics.
I'm stuck between the two because I received co op option first year for brock, and laurier isn't even guaranteed in second year. Co op is very important to me and my goals because of the hands on experience.
Bottom line is which one is better in terms of: cost, post graduation employment rate, co op, social life, etc.
Just wondering how the finals for those courses looked like last sem and if anyone could send more practice! I have Edda, McLeod and Lennox for those courses! I feel alright about them but would love to have more information from someone whose done them before and what to expect!
Hiii does anyone know what courses and profs are the easiest for political science? Tbh I chose some harder courses for second year thinking that it would be fine but I was so wrong. Please lmk if u have taken any easy courses
How is the course? It will be taught by Sean Doherty
Midterm exam assignment situation?
I haven't been going to lectures for this class, anything i need to know about the exam, i.e I heard we get to choose which question we do for the exam?
I’m fully sure I’m going to fail my IT101 course. It’s an elective and not needed for my program (comp sci). I just wanted to know how this is going to affect my co op and employability, and other things I should be aware of. Is it also worth redoing? Thank you for the help.
Last night on Nov 29th, I lost my Pandora bracelet which is super sentimental to me with so many memories attached to it (birthdays, milestones, charms from loved ones and ones that represent/remind me of my mom before she passed). It’s a silver bracelet with a heart clause. There’s 5 silver charms on there;
I was at Prohibition Warehouse when I was wearing it. I was also walking down the strip of King Street afterwards when heading home. It truly breaks my heart that I have misplaced it. It is one of the most important things I have. If anyone finds it or knows where it can possibly be, please if you can reach out.
does this mean that it doesn't impact my GPA?
I'm looking for bird courses outside of the Faculty of Science, I'd appreciate any suggestions!
