My nephew (10 yrs) and niece (6 yrs) are visiting in July. We're heading to a game and I wanted to pick them up some shirts to wear to the game. However, I'm having a heck of a time find youth merchandise. Aside from the Bomber Store (which also has limited options) does anyone have any good suggestions for youth gear?
Thanks in advance!
Sorry for the spam here guys, my post game sober thoughts on this one. Go Blue
WE’RE GOING NATIONAL. Let me take you on a tour of Ottawa
Hoping someone here knows what the reason for holding up that giant sign with the montreal alouettes name and logo every time the defense was on the field? The coaching staff was holding it up and was basically standing on the field. I have my assumptions, but no one I’ve spoken to knows why. It’s like 100000000 people saw it, and no one knows why lol.
Recently started a YouTube channel, doing all types of Bombers (mainly), CFL, and Winnipeg sports content. Would really appreciate if you guys would check it out. Go Bombers!!
Howdy all,
This might be a ridiculous question but figured I should reach out to see if anyone knows an answer. I'm hoping to get an understanding of why Winnipeg voted against US teams from the World League of American Football joining the CFL in 1993. They were the lone dissenting vote and I haven't found any reason online (though they did play Sacramento in their first preseason game in the Gold Miners inaugural season). Any help or direction to a better source here would be great. Thanks!
So I get it. The stadium changes owners and they make some changes. But the new "ring of honour" is too big. We are long time season ticket holders in the upper deck, we already had an obstructed view because the railings weren't safe when they built the stadium in 2013. But now. While I'm seated, I can't see more than half the field. My 8year old can't see any of the field. I'm pretty sure our entire section has sent emails/messages to the bombers fan services.
Why am I paying for a seat where I can't even see the game? If anyone knows who else to contact please let me know. Or if someone from the bombers sees this... Go check out the upper deck once in a while to make sure you aren't screwing over fans when you make these kinds of changes.
Photo of my son's view... He used to peek through those bars, but now he has to stand to see, thus obstructing the people behind him.
Hello Bomber fans looking to trade my tickets for the opener on June 6th for the game on June 21st. My seats are sec 105 row 3 17&18 4 seats from aisle. Looking to trade for similar seats or will sell the pair for $200. Thanks
After taking a break from being a STH for several years when my kids were very young and being down to a mini-pack, I resumed being a full STH this season. Let me just say how impressed I am by the warm welcome I have received from the team.
Last weekend there was a new STH pancake breakfast at PAS which was a great time, had a chance to take in some training camp action while noshing on pancakes, bacon and coffee from the stands. Everything was so well run and the atmosphere was great.
Then yesterday was the STH fan fest where we picked up our STH gift. But PAS was practically turned into a football theme park with tons of activities for kids, free hotdogs, chips and drinks, great sales on team merch, player meet and greets with autographs... and it was all run really well. Just good vibes all around. And the team goes over the top with the gifts, the Collaros bobbleheads and the kid gift bags with a football and an extra ticket to bring a buddy to the preseason game were unexpected and amazing. My kids were super excited and naturally started playing catch. Seems like a great way to engage families and build the fan base.
Anyway, I think the whole thing was really well run and a credit to the whole Bomber organization. They have mastered the art of doing this stuff oh so well. It really makes you feel valued as a STH and conversely, makes you feel even better about the team.
So close to CFL season
Come on, man
