I'm not the greatest at working around texture wraps but if any of you have the access to models I could use them on substance painter. Of course I could make you a skin too if you helped.
Hi guys, having some issues adapting one skin to my JAS39C, I have attached the files I am using but I cannot get the filenames in a way which allow me to use this fantastic skin. Any help would be hugely appreciated.

Thank you in advance!
Hi! I own two 9.3 BR Merkavas, which are Merkava Mark 1 Bet and Merkava Mark 2 Bet. Is there anyone who can make a Prinz Eugen or any kind of anime livery for my tank? If so, I would be thankful.
Like rivets, lines etc to put over my skin when Im done. I found one on warthunderlive: https://live.warthunder.com/post/986149/en/ but did some testing and it seems inccorect here and there, maybe outdated or something? Or its just me...
i can't get the nets to work in the Strv 121 but the normal cammo without the net works fine. am i dumb or is it just broken?

I am just curious how these two interact with each other. Because I tried two same skins with one using the set_tex and _n files and the other I replaced every set_tex with replace_tex and _n files and the two look very different. Can anyone explain a little more. The only differences are the set_tex/replace_tex and all the _c files in the set_tex one have alpha channel being somewhat white and the replace_tex ones i have the alpha channel black {selected all from set_tex files and deleted leaving black alpha}.
So I just successfully edited my first skin. But I was wondering is there a way to transfer a skin between similar variants? For example, applying an f4e skin from the American tech tree to the f4e kurnass that’s in the Israeli tree by just editing file names
I'm sorry if this is a common question (though I searched and didn't find anything super helpful to weathering specifically but,) how do I remove (and fully, I want little or none) aircraft weathering / scratches? I have tried off and on for months now to make skins for various aircraft and I just can't seem to ever figure out how to get the weathering off. I've searched online a lot, found old tutorials but they don't work since they're from like 2016 and when I followed the exact steps, nothing changed. I figured out in GIMP how to make it more metallic or matte (opacity slider) yet the weathering was still there and I'm at a complete loss; is there something I'm missing or not doing right? The default rivets are fine (but I wouldn't mind losing them) however for the livery I have in mind it would look odd to have the weathering. Is it possible to just draw over it with multiple layers or do I have to go into some file and fully delete / replace stuff? I have both Paint.Net and GIMP if that's any help.
Really all I'm trying to do is just change around the colours on the base F4E camo, add images and logos but the weathering is distracting.
Again, sorry if this something that gets asked a million times, but as I said, I've been at a loss for months now and I just want to create my own stuff.
I notice some skin have the standard aged/dirt texture and some don't, is there anything I need to tweak so I won't get the aged texture?
Kind of a longshot here hoping someone with experience messing with pylons on the more modern jets can help out. Haven't made a skin in quite a while and decided to try to make something for the F-100, turns out there isn't really a fully-fledged template for the plane so I've been working on fixing that. The actual plane part of the template works great but the pylons will not cooperate.
I've gone into the assetviewer and pulled all the relevant textures and normals but for whatever reason I cannot for the life of me get the game to recognize my edited pylon files. It's possible I'm not editing the text file correctly and I'm not entirely sure what .dds format is compatable anymore, but I've stuck it all in .tga format and it still doesn't show up on the skin in game. I've even looked to see if anyone else has been able to solve this on wt.live in their skin but I've not been able to find any example. If anyone knows of such a skin I can download to look at, or any advice is most welcome.
Do these skins need adjusting for whenever new updates come out just like how the user made jets/tanks doo??
I am currently editing a skin for the Spitfire Mk16, but I can't find the right textures for its cockpit in the war thunder CDK.
I have recently learnt how to make my own skins for planes. I'm trying to add an image onto the plane textures on photoshop, however that image becomes very pixelated when I shrink it down to fit on the plane. What am I supposed to do to keep the images resolution when scaling the image down in Photoshop?
(the size of the image is 2894 x 4093)
The plane I'm trying to edit is the mkXIV Spitfire
I have no experience with textures and especially changing the afterburner.
That's it, I've been having troubles with the CDK not being installed properly and I figure since it's just one file it shouldn't be hard for someone who's more well versed in using the asset viewer to find. Thanks in advance!
So when I go to the asset viewer to get the texture file for the F-15C it comes out as a 512x512 on things like the CFT and body texture. Is there a way to get a larger file so it isn't blurry/compressed when I try and work on it?
Hello I am trying to use an f_16a_block_20_mlu skin on a f_16aj however regardless of me editing the blk file it didn’t work is it possible for someone to do it for me thank you!
