I was first place for a while on my side before a MiG-23ML stole my spot. Didn't get any good screenshots this time, too busy murdering.

I’m not so sure a soft belly landing would result in spontaneous combustion. Maybe if there was a leak of some sort I could see the sparks igniting fuel or oil but aside from that idk.

Hello, r/WarthunderSim! I've been playing War Thunder simulator for awhile now, going on 2 years, and a year ago I picked up a VKB HOTAS, top of the line stuff, a STECS and NXT EVO (Worst financial decision I've ever made and I do NOT regret it!), however I always had the most scuffed keybinds.

If anyone is experienced with HOTAS, please help me figure out new keybindings! I have been really strugling with the placement of my trim switch, head movment (up, down, left, right, etc.) and looking around. The keybinds I have been using are so scuffed.

I am mostly an attack pilot who dabbles in interception, so if keybinds are different from platform to platform, I will set as many controls presets as I need!

Please let me know in the comments if you are able to help me out. I am also in the WinalingDragon and KrabNation discord servers, so let me know if you can help me with this!

This has been a issue for me that started after the firebird update. The only reresolution I found was to open task management and force quit the game. I also having some graphics issues. Other planes would look gray and have missing texture, while my plane looks like it was set to the lowest resolution and pixilated. I can't even use my gun sights.

1. It can take out a full enemy’s frontline in one pass

2. It can demolish an airfield’s AAA in one pass

3. It can take out a convoy more reliably and more efficiently than most aircraft

4. 4x AIM-9M’s at 11.7

5. HMD with SPI capability, IFF, and missile slaving at 11.7

6. MAW with plenty of countermeasures

I recently got this jet a couple of days ago, and I’m close to spading it. The sheer amount of score you can get before RTB is unmatched.

I recently acquired a quest 3s and loving it so far. However, when I'm playing warthunder sim I want to be able to keep track of my hands for using keystrokes occasionally.

I use virtual desktop with the hand tracking passthrough but when I get into a game it turns every action into guns. I disable hand tracking and that solves the controls issue but then I can't see my hands passthrough.

Has anyone else had this issue?? Is there a fix or a setting that I can change. Super annoyed.

FIXED

So I figured it out... Had nothing to do with VD. The problem is with steam VR. With hand tracking enabled, steam VR then tracks your hands as the touch controllers. so in steam VR, I remapped the oculus touch controllers to have no bindings at all. It would see my right finger doing a trigger pill when I grabbed the hotus and just start blasting. With all touch controller bindings as unassigned, this doesn't happen anymore.

If anyone has this issue, just create a custom oculus keybinding in steam VR for warthunder and unmap all the controls from the touch controller. Works perfectly.

Ive never played ground in general but decided too when i grinded out the american air tree. Your knowledge is much apreciated

Anytime i try to play sim my controls just dont work. Like the circle in which you use to control the plane just doesnt work and the plane has to be flown with wasd. Anyone have a fix? Thanks

Is a hotas enough or are rudder pedals also needed? How do I use an air mouse to free look?
