This has been a 10 year + project that’s still not finished. Originally a racing car in Japan that competed in the JCCA F-Class but was sadly abandoned in 2001 after an engine failure at Tsukuba. I purchased it from City Auto in Gumma, Japan and imported into the UK in 2014. Since then it’s had a full restoration and most of the mechanicals sorted. Mostly documented on Instagram @kikiichiban and hopefully it’ll get back on track in 2025.
Looking to import my first JDM vehicle. Asking for expertise from anyone who has imported from Japan before. Who did you use and why did you choose them? There seem to be a few ways and many companies to import from.. I'm having a hard time deciding. To note* I live in Canada but will be moving to the USA. Apologies ahead of time, I know people have asked this in the past but I couldnt find anything recent and was hoping for some more up to date information if anyone has time to offer some advice from their own personal experience I REALLY appreciate it. I'm a bit overwhelmed since its a big investment for me.
Was separated from it for a while but recently bought it back, with a rebuilt 22r! Gonna lower, put new wheels on and manual swap it in the future. But for now just having fun cruising!

I have a 94 Eagle Summit Lx, which is the same car as an Expo, just wearing different skin. I’m looking for someone in the North Texas area who would be willing to work on the transmission. It is currently stuck in limp mode, and I have a few possible causes and solutions that I have found through my own research, just can’t find the right person to work on it. If anyone has any recommendations, I’ll take them happily.
