Just tried this brand recently and it’s good, tastes more like roast to me so I decided to make it one after trying a few plant steaks w em!
Pot roast is a family recipe my mom would make a lot but I haven’t had it in a few years since going vegan. This hits the spot for sure
As for recipe
I had like half of the loin left and threw it in the crockpot with two cans of peas, one can of carrots, a whole onion sliced to bite pieces, some veggie broth of choice (I used miso cause it’s what I had), splash avocado oil, splash toasted sesame oil, splash liquid smoke and seasonings of choice. Throw it all in on high for a few hours then once it’s simmering, or heated up well, put on low for 4-5 more hours. You can adjust that ofc based on when you want to eat.
Served with mashed potatoes😋
Base with spinach, beets, Brussels sprouts, avocado, artichoke hearts, and tomatoes with balsamic. Really tasty!
