As the title suggests, where can an introvert go (other than home) to hang out quietly in a corner, read, or relax while sipping coffee or beer in a calm, non-loud environment and is open late, pass 10pm?
Im trying to find a shop thats all about band shirts, jackets, vests, patches, stickers, etc. All the stuff from the metal and punk scenes. Kinda like a brick & motor store version of rockabilia.com anyone know of a shop around Riverside or surrounding cities.
Anyone commute between riverside/moreno valley to UCLA or surrounding area? Please let me know!
This store closed in 1996
Home Depot hasn’t been helpful and many nurseries don’t carry sod at all.
Just curious, and I mostly go by this neighborhood on the way to or from downtown. How is Northside, and what's your experience?
The wife and I were out doing some shopping and I got a notification of people in our outside cameras.
An older GMC Yukon pulled into the driveway and 3 Hispanic males got out. Immediately one of them checked the front door to see if it was locked and one of them checked a window.
A woman got out of the car and then they jumped the fence and went to my back yard and started checking the back door and windows. I set off the alarms on all the cameras and my wife called the cops.
The alarms didn't phase them one bit. They actually sat down in my chairs in the backyard, I guess trying to decide if it was worth the effort to break in.
Ultimately they decided it wasn't worth the risk and left just a minute or two before the cops showed up.
My wife had moved her car into the street Thursday so family could park in the driveway for Thanksgiving and hadn't moved her car back into the driveway. I assume they targeted the house because of the empty driveway.
Anyways, I'm looking for recommendations for good shops to pick up a firearm, if anyone has one.
Anyone missing a French Bulldog?
So I'm in the Riverside/LA area for work (my first time in the states). What recommendations do you have for things to do?
Talk to me about the best: Bars Restaurants Experiences
I intend to head to the Griffith Observatory and Hollywood sign tomorrow just to say I've done it, and I want to visit the cigar lounge in Riverside while I'm out here. What else can you recommend?
Thanks in advance
Jake
Craving some octopus, what's everyone's recommendations in Riverside or the IE?
Hey everyone!

It seems like they would benefit everyone instead of having to rely on businesses who might deny people access or require purchases. If they get cleaned and restocked regularly they could make public life much nicer. Including things like sharps containers for syringes would be great too. I know a lot of people need to dispose of insulin or hormone syringes.
when i was 18 i worked at a bar opened past 2am in DTR. its closed now. anyone know of such a place i only know of one in LA
https://www.verdictfoodservice.com/news/capriottis-riverside-california/
Im pretty glad one is opening here, I don't have to drive up to Eastvale now. As far as chain sandwich places go, Capriottis is at the top of the food chain along with Jersey Mike's and I don't know of any other chain that uses freshly carved turkey instead of the typical cold cuts. Their waygu roast beef and cheese steaks are pretty good as well so check them out if you ve never been. I hope they do well and stay in business!
I wonder what people think of this. I think it would be great for our city 🏙️
I was asked today where do people who come back to Riverside for the Holiday go for drinking the day before Thanksgiving ? My thoughts were shooters, events but I don’t know I always go see my friends at their house.
hey everyone, just wondering if anyone can give me the contact info for a civil attorney. got served papers today for a request for a restraining order against me, and the court date is very soon (next week). i know it's thanksgiving and very short notice. anything helps, feel free to pm me!
I'm thinking about crab races. Anyone on board?
Not living crabs, because I don't want to deal with that. Mechanical crabs
So I heard of a barber shop that had bands play in there. Anyone know where this happens at?
hi all! does anyone here take the train from DTR to the Orange County area and have some insight? I am looking to move back to Riverside but have to stay working in Orange. I don’t want to make the drive.
Are the trains usually on time and safe? how do you get from station to your worksite with no car? I used to take one to LA but that was pre-Covid and wondering if things have changed. Thanks!
I'm looking for a good physical therapist in the area that is willing to accept PRN contracted work. Feel free to DM me if you're interested.
Hi there. I have friends from out of town that want to come up to Riverside to see the lights. The problem is, I don’t get out much and haven’t been to the festival in a couple years so I’m a little out of the loop. I’m looking for suggestions for activities at the Festival of Lights or near/within downtown that we could do so I can make a little itinerary for them. If it helps the suggestions, I’d like to add that we’re in our early 20s and enjoy a good drink
Hey Riverside! I’m an animator who dabbles in video editing, and I’m itching to take on a passion project. I’d love to work with a local band to create a music video.
I’m flexible on how involved you want to be, but I prefer creative freedom—especially if there’s not much funding. Ideally, I’d like to work with a band that has a decent following so the video can reach enough people to kickstart more projects and turn this into something regular.
Does anyone know any local bands or can help connect me with someone who might be interested? Feel free to share or tag them! You can also reach me on Instagram: @rapscallion12.
Based in Fifth Edition but it's own setting entirely. We are a Group of friends who are more alternative overall. We always bring food and are very relaxed. No drama. Looking for like-minded folks
Looking for 1 to 2 players to join a game. We play Wednesday and Thursday from 4pm to 8pm every week. We are technically at full capacity as of the time of me making this post. However! A couple players have discussed schedule changes and not being able to make it soon so I'm being preemptive and trying to fill the seats as soon as they leave. So do be a touch patient if you are chosen but there isn't immediately a seat
This game is based in 5e but set in its own world that is an alternate history earth. It's a game about a secret society called "The Lodge" who hunts Cryptids and keeps the public from knowing of their existence. It has a pretty in depth lore and we keep everything organized via a discord. We have vampires, werebeasts, demons, and so much more. Character creation is very flexible and near limitless as long as it can be tweaked to fit the world lore.
We have had this same group of People since early 2020 and are all a pretty close knit group. We are looking for people between 20 and 30 years old because that's what our group is comprised of. Must be lgbt friendly, preferably alternative (but not necessary), and similar to our group. We are laid back, usually bring food, and always have a good time. We play at a local game store in Corona!
We also have 3 other campaign settings that we alternate for each "season" of play whenever one reaches a good natural stopping point.
This group is very beginner friendly and all you need is a desire to play the game. The rest can be picked up as you go along.
If this interests you, shoot a comment or message me! Thanks for reading

I walk my dogs daily and I enjoy walking through downtown looking at the decorations up for the holiday season.
This past Sunday, it was really disheartening to see just how trashed downtown was after Saturday's ceremony.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't us Riverside residents, because the city is never this dirty. I'm sure it was the out of town folks coming from LA and SB counties, but the city was a mess. Dirty diapers, bottles of piss left on the sidewalk, countless cans and fast food bags/wrappers left all over the city.
I'm sure the City could have added more trash cans, but honestly, half the trash was within a short distance from a regular trash can that was not even halfway full.
It really grinded my gears to see how disrespectful grown adults were to our city. I'm sure most of these people wouldn't trash their own homes like this so I don't understand why they think it's okay to throw trash on the floor.
I’m new to the riverside area and been craving good, authentic thai food. Any recommendations??
THANK YOUUUU for all of your recs <33 will be checking these out soon
In Magnolia Center. That wasn’t your average train or airplane going by. It just woke me from sleep, windows closed. WTF was that just now? Anyone else hear that? Super loud, air horn buzz waves?
