WARNING @ Dr. Jared Inman at Loma Linda Hospital

This is a strong warning for anyone who is considering being a patient of Dr. Jared Christian Inman at Loma Linda University Medical Hospital.

Dr Jared Inman killed my grandmother in January of 2024.

Dr. Jared Inman has been sued by at least 2 previous patients for malpractice.

Dr Inman encouraged my grandmother to do an elective surgery at the age of 93. He told her the surgery would be easy. He completely downplayed the recovery and risks to her and our family. He convinced her to do this elective surgery so that he could make money off her.

My grandmother woke up from surgery unable to breathe, talk, or eat. Dr Inman never warned her that potential swelling could happen in her throat leading to an inability to breathe, talk, or eat. Which is funny....he's an ear nose and throat specialist. How would he not warn a 93-year-old patient that doing surgery in her throat could lead to potential swelling in that area?

After fighting for her life for 19 days, living with a tube in her throat to help her breathe and a hole in her stomach to feed her, my grandmother died.

My grandmother, prior to this surgery, was incredibly healthy. She could walk, she was mentally there, and she lived on her own. She chose to do this surgery to remove a bump by her tongue because Dr. Inman said it would be an easy surgery and easy recovery.

My grandmother was unable to speak with her loved ones for the remaining 3 weeks of her life.

She was in abject pain. Dr. Inman NEVER ONCE VISITED HER IN THE HOSPITAL after surgery.

My grandmother had to write with a pen and paper: "I WANT TO DIE. DO IT NOW."

That is how my amazing wonderful kind gentle grandmother ended her life.

Dr. Inman has had at least one other malpractice lawsuit brought against him by a patient in 2014. Another reviewer said he also performed a risky surgery on a 90 year old that almost killed her.

He is not a good doctor.

I wish with all my heart that I had Googled him before letting my grandmother go into surgery with him. She'd still be alive today.

Apartment buildings in the inland empire with elevators

My lease is up soon and I’m thinking of moving. I want a second or third floor unit but I have disabled family members that need to be able to visit.

I’ve been trying to search for buildings with elevators and I’ve found a couple but the search engines don’t seem to have a filter for that amenity and when I google “apartments with elevator” it shows properties that don’t have them.

Anyone know of any places with elevators in the Riverside and surrounding areas? Or how to search for them?

Best spots to take photo of new car

Basically the title.

Just bought a new car and I want to take some pictures of it with a nice background, could be nature behind it or a nice city background. Must be able to park there at least semi-legally to snap a few shots.

I live in Redlands but drive around so I’m willing to drive around to get some good shots.

Thanks!

Rancho Cucamonga questions

Hello, I am thinking about moving to Rancho Cucamonga and wondering:

  1. How lgbtq friendly it is. I know it’s majority democrat, but so is Temecula and I’ve heard it’s pretty Trumpy over there. So how is Rancho?

  2. How is Rancho with IEPs in schools?

Thanks for any help!

Uber from Ontario airport after midnight

Is it easy to get a Uber or Lyft from ONT after the midnight on a Saturday? It seems there is a bus 61 going into Pomona that's really convenient but it's not running after 10pm? Any tips? Thanks!

Saturday Day Drinking

Need some recommendations on the best area for day drinking in the IE. Friends birthday this weekend and want to go walk around to different bars to drink. Thinking Orange County but we've drove out there a few times already, haven't explored a bar scene in the IE too much. Any and all suggestions are welcome :)

Anyone Had Bakers Recently?

I swore off Bakers about 3 months ago but I have the itch. My brain is telling me not to do it but my heart is saying give them another chance. Just like a bad ex you can’t let go.

Should I do it? Is the lemonade still watery? Are the buns still hard? (Rialto/Bloomington area)

UPDATE: I had it last night. Pink lemonade is STILL watery, bun is still semi-hard. BUT the fry sack is back and the fries were amazing enough to take me back to a Saturday afternoon watching SpongeBob on the couch with my sisters yelling at each other in the background

I just want a loquat

Hey everyone. I just got a mean craving for the little nuggets of sweet gold.

Anyone know of a farmer's market or really chill person with a tree in their yard that I can hit up?

Most markets don't sell them but if there's a mom and pop shop that have them, I'm willing to drive. I'm near Rialto.

Trying to decide where to work.

I’m planning on applying for jobs soon so I can make some money on top of taking classes. I go to riverside community college, but I live in Moreno Valley. I’m conflicted on whether or not to get a job in Riverside, or closer where I live. I haven’t lived here for long so I’m not extremely familiar with the area. For more context, I am looking for jobs in the food industry. If anyone in the IE has any suggestions or advice, let me know. Thanks!

Places To See in Beaumont...

Hi all, going to be visiting Beaumont this weekend, will catch a movie, visit the library, do some vintage shopping at the shops lining the street nearby. Any other cool places, old homes, nice parks, historic things to take a peak at? If only the Edinburgh Hotel near 5th and Beaumont Ave, hadn't burned down in 1909, what a beautiful building to be seen!

Where are all the 30ish year olds making new friends these days?

I’m so surprised when people have such large friend groups at this age. We have a 6 year old, we do fun stuff with him and without him. Camping, river, off roading, beach, concerts, the list goes on. But we do it all with the same like 2 people we know lol. Also how you meeting other families with kids to do shit with. I feel like we’re not the only people doing fun stuff.
