Need family photos for Xmas cards, wife wants to do it in the woods- big bear or Julian is an option but it’s far and I’m wondering if there’s somewhere nearby, maybe fallbrook? Looking for big trees/dense woods/lots of greenery. Preferably somewhere we don’t have to hike far, bringing a 2 year old.
Prefer areas south of the 91. Thanks.
Share below! Thank you.
Hey all. A family member of mine needs help but isn't in a state to seek it out for themselves. I'm hoping to hear if anyone in the IE or surrounding areas have any recommendations for intensive mental health facilities, or experiences they could share.
My family member's previous therapist suspected they have borderline personality disorder, but that particular practice was not equipped to provide more intensive care - after that, my family member fell off the wagon entirely and stopped going to therapy, and stopped taking their prescribed medications as they felt it was only making them feel worse. They've since developed a reliance on alcohol.
They don't have a home environment that is very supportive or understanding, and they've already attempted commiting suicide and hurting themselves on more than one occasion - they've been in and out of short-term crisis centers.
They're only 19. Their mother and father are not great resources. I know they need intensive help, but the adults in their life are either in denial that this is happening, are in poor health themselves, or are at a loss on how to help.
I don't know if a residential treatment center is the answer, but I worry that their home environment will only hurt any progress they might make through outpatient therapy and treatment.
Please please please, it you have any recommendations or know of any well-regarded mental health facilities or therapy programs, please send them my way. I've been doing my own research, but I'm hoping this community can give me more places to contact and reach out to. My family member has Medi-Cal.
EDIT: My family member lives in San Bernardino county.
So I bring this up because recently I won quite a bit playing blackjack at a NorCal Casino that only required a $10 Min. Bet. I've been to Yaamava and Morongo, but at those places I've only seen $25. Are all casinos like that around here?
Help me out, Inland Empire folk!
My family and I have spent all of November sick after eating at a nasty-ass buffet.
I’m not a total germaphobe but I am hoping to take my 1 year old to meet Santa in a location that won’t have fifty thousand other snotty drippy coughing toddlers snotting and gooping all over Santa Claus.
Unfortunately the only one I know about will be at the Tyler mall, which is ALWAYS packed with the aforementioned thousands of dripping children.
I’m hoping for something like a supermarket Santa Claus in Jurupa Valley or something along those lines. Does anyone know of any more lowkey spots to go meet Santa?
If you know of any other locations aside from the mall, I’d love to hear it!
What time should we get there? Any tips with a little one and how long can we expect to stay and still have things to do? My little one loved going to the Mission Inn before, but that wasn’t during the festival. This will be a first for us all. Thanks
I'd like to know how I can buy directly from the warehouse. Do I need a sellers permit? Mainly looking to for a prefab home.

I’m out here for the day. What is there to do? I just went up Mt. Rubidoux
I would say the 210
As I write this, they just turned their system up louder than what I caught on the video. I was recording on my driveway. I can hear them from inside my house while I’m trying to watch TV. I know they have freedom of speech and religion. Totally fine with that. Be as religious as you want. But forcing others to hear it in our homes? What about a noise ordinance or disturbance of peace? And oh idk forcing their religion on us. Literally! Cause again I can’t just ignore them and go inside. I can hear them inside while I try to mind my own business!! Doesn’t feel like I have the right to not be religious lol They’ve only been going for 30 minutes. What could someone do if they just go on for too long? Would the city even do anything?
Oh weird funny part. The whole reason I discovered them out there was apparently when they turned on their sound system. I was inside folding laundry and I suddenly heard/felt a weird ringing go through my ears/brain I thought I was about to go deaf lol guess it was that interference sound and I went to go see what the heck it was.
FYI I don’t wanna say exact city but in the IE
Looking for people to go riding with as a group located in Hesperia.
any good places for pozole verde near riverside/moreno?
Earlier this year I went to a burrito place that had homemade tortillas and they had different types of burritos. I can’t remember the name of it. I want to say it was slightly in a rough neighborhood like maybe Rialto or Colton? Not sure. But it was also a popular spot on TikTok earlier this year but now I can’t find it. Thank you!
As an inland empire resident , is Christianity a terrible religion for me ?
I did convert to Christianity but I did not have the ability to love people . I hate people so my faith is dead . I have bad thoughts about people I don't like . I have anger problems because of my borderline personality disorder , I am a woman with mood disorders. It feels like I am mocking God because I cannot love others
What religion should I follow
Hi all! My daughter turns five this week and I want to take her for her first manicure/pedicure. I’ve seen pictures of salons with like little kid salon chairs and foot baths, are there any of those in the IE? Or even just a really kid friendly salon? I’m in Claremont but would drive pretty much anywhere. Thanks in advance!

It’s a festive time of year and my daughter would loooove a horse drawn carriage ride. Any suggestions where I can do this? I know Los Rios (or Riley’s ranch, I forget which one) does it. I also know the owners aren’t accepting of all people, so I try to avoid spending my money at a place like that. Mission inn used to have them back in the day, but that’s no longer the case. Thanks for helping me bring some Xmas cheer to my kiddo!! Edit: also open to ice skating and all that picture book winter stuff! Thanks!
What are the best, (clean, big, full) Goodwill or Thrift stores in the inland empire? - I’m not much into looking for clothing but electronics, vintage stuff and furniture.

Does anyone know of any ecstatic dance groups in the IE or surrounding areas? If not, and if I see enough interest, I’ll start one.
For those who are wondering, ecstatic dance is a big group of people dancing to music, moving however they want, expressing physically however the music moves them.
When I first started going to events I thought it was gonna be extremely goofy - pictured people flailing around in a gazebo in Bali. But I’m so glad I gave it a shot because it’s been a healing force in my life.
My daughter wants me to start teaching her how to drive. Where in Ontario can I take her that has a large empty lot? Or near Ontario.
I’m looking for a place with real selection. There’s a spot in Escondido, there’s a spot in Azusa, a spot in LA, and strangely enough San Bernardino….. but everything else is just your run of the mill bullshit that costs a lot for the sake of costing a lot.
I’m looking for a showroom where you can sit down and play a plethora of nice basses that aren’t just name brand Fender/Guild/whatever.
I made a post the other day (https://www.reddit.com/r/InlandEmpire/comments/1h0yakz/looking\_for\_contractors\_for\_home\_renovations/) asking about how to find contractors for a job. After learning some stuff there as well as through some additional Googling, I've realized I need to ask more questions, I'd like to see - for those of you who have done this - ask are:
For anyone who answers these questions, I thank you ahead of time!
