What a f’ing joke our FO has become. Absolutely no interest whatsoever in fans beyond our wallets.

Once again, this Saturday, the Mariners and Sounders are playing at the same time (7:10 and 7:30 respectively). I believe this is at least the fifth time this has happened this year, and it's so frustrating How hard is it to fucking figure out that one should be a day game? There are so many good reasons to cooperate, businesses in the area get a boost for the whole day as opposed to one time slot. Parking isn't as much of a hassle, and less of a load on the lightrail. And most importantly, I as well as thousands of other fans wouldn't have to choose between one or the other. Two sport days are so much fun, and I know there's loads of people who who hit both. But nope, we all have to crowd in and figure out who to watch. I'm sure it comes down to media deals and all that shit, but if we as fans complain about it, hopefully we can make a change.. so I urge y'all, when the organizations send out their post game surveys please take the minute to gripe about this.

You can’t discredit all the kid has put into the team, with a handful of decent strikes, consistency at his position, and even a brief stint at goal. But since his concussion, the Sounders earned 7 points in a 3 game week with flair, coming back from 2-0 twice over.

I know it’s not exactly fair to weigh the success of the team on his absence alone, but his brother’s presence at that position exposed how weak a link Alex has been (one can argue that Cristian is better utilized defensively as well).

Regardless of the time Alex needs for his concussion, including time coming off the bench to get fit, I think he needs to take more time on the bench and re-earn his starting position.

Thoughts?

I thought FIFA laws required goalie to wear contrasting colors.. the goalie wearing black against.a dark blue jersey wasn't much of one...just thought it was weird

JP made his presence known all over the pitch. He had 91% passing, 120 touches, and led the match with 5 chances created.

The key thing to me is he has been free to move forward more. He even took 3 shots, one of which hit the post. There was an interview a little while back where he commented that he was being asked to stay back more. That seems to have changed the last couple games, and he’s had his best games as a result. Is this a coaching decision, or was he being slowly ramped up from an injury? Since he hadn’t been playing the full 90, my guess is the latter.

It’s great to see JP fully unleashed. He makes the team better.

He’s gotten quite a lot of hate on here this season and I feel like after the last few games he deserves some legit credit.

Love or hate the guy, you simply can’t deny that he put in a DP-level performance in this game. Hopefully he can build on that trend and keep going like this, because I love what I saw from him tonight
