What’s the history of this place? There’s like some interesting stuff off trail. Any legends or what did it used to be?
I didn't realize 4 wheelers and dirt bikes were allowed on the bike trail. Does anyone know when the rules changed?
I'm looking to get dentures this winter at some point an am doing research but would love to hear some good/bad experiences with dentist offices in or around sioux falls!
Looking for a barber that can cut a low taper fade and trim up a beard . I’m very picky about my hair cut I like a barber that can cut a good even gradient.
You know those igloos that Fernson has downtown in the winter? Anyone know if there would be a place that rents them nearby? The places I’ve contacted so far don’t have them so I thought there may be someone outside of the party/wedding rental businesses that might. Hoping to rent one to set up for a birthday. Ty!
This has probably been asked before, but is there transportation from Grand Falls to Sioux Falls at night? I know you can take a Lyft out there but I heard you can’t get a Lyft back for some reason.
Avera Fitness Center announced today Great Life is taking over their fitness center. I’m bummed as I previously wasn’t a fan of Great Life and their fast food owning management which is why I went there. Looking for a new gym now. Appreciate any recommendations.

Has anyone else gotten a scam call that shows up on caller ID as "Public Service" with the number 605-367-4300 ?
I got two missed calls and upon looking up the number it pulls up Minnehaha County Sheriff's department.
This got me worried as I had no idea why they would be calling me, so I called their number and the front desk said that it's a pretty common scam going around right now and if it were legit they likely would have left a voicemail.
Pretty freaky that a scammer can have their caller ID show up as the same for the actual Sheriff's department. Sounds like they'll use real names of police in the department too, so it seems even more real.
Hopefully this helps bring more awareness to this scam!
Three years ago around this time I was looking for an apartment in Sioux Falls. Then, there was a major lack of apartments in the SF metro and there were long wait times and even some bidding wars for apartments that may not have even been that nice. Now I'm in the market again and it seems to have flipped 100%. There are TONS of available units right now and TONS more coming online in the next few months. And alot of these new units are being billed as "luxury" and are indeed pretty nice. So the question is: have developers overbuilt and we're about to enter a glut and buyer's market?

First time partying downtown during Halloween weekend, do people dress up in costumes at the bars for Halloween weekend?
I recently moved to Sioux Falls and so far love it. Could you recommend me to the best of anything?
Could be best restaurant, best bar, best italian food, best mexican food, best park, best of anything you can think of.
I tried one mexican place and one bbq place and werent that impressed so I figured I would come and ask the locals for the best of whatever it is you recommend
Meeting 2pm at Lyon Park, 600 S. Phillips Ave. 2:45pm - March to the Federal Court House
They will have free YES on G signs and stickers at the march. There will be an after party at Icon, 402 N. Main Ave, Sioux Falls
Does anyone know if Looks or any of the barbecue places do smoked turkeys for Thanksgiving?
Looking to order one that is smoked. The premade ones you can get from Costco or similar always
have additives that family members have allergies to so can't get one of those to reheat.
Are there still ballot drop boxes for absentee voting? Doing a quick google search and I am not seeing an answer for it. Lincoln county if that matters.
Is there any places close to go check out that are abandoned and cool places to just go exploring. Within 50 miles of sioux falls houses, buildings, etc...
I have a pretty basic leak under my sink. It is a welded in water line stop that is dripping at the handle. Just looking for a quality plumber who can come replace it for me. Thanks
Looking for recommendations of low key places still serving food after 830. Stopping for the night and have never been here. Thanks!
We are desperately looking for a vet that won't dismiss us regarding our dog's anxiety. He's pretty much anxious ALL THE TIME. He's 5 and he's always been this way (we've had him since 9 weeks old). We've tried training him/having him trained to be calm in stressful situations but when he's anxious he absolutely doesn't follow commands. He just tunes everything out except whatever is causing him stress. When he has to go to boarding, go stay with family with us, have people over (even if it's literally just someone we talk to at the door for a few minutes), go in the car, or when he sees other people/animals outside around our house, he gets horrible diarrhea. Our first vet attributed it basically to irritable bowel syndrome but that was quickly ruled out. We tried numerous diets and nothing made it better. He gets PLENTY of exercise inside and out. (Walks are usually okay for him but not going to parks or dog parks or any type of event.) The only thing that helps him stay relatively calm is keeping him inside where he can't see other people or animals and hope that no one comes to our door. He also shakes horribly and can't stop whining/crying when any of these situations are going on or when he can't have access to us for whatever reason (in the bathroom, grabbing something from garage, etc). The only time this part doesn't make him freak out is if he is in the kennel. He is okay with us leaving as long as he is in his kennel. He also won't eat unless we stand directly next to him because if we walk away he thinks he needs to follow. We tried to train that out of him and make him okay with us not being directly there but the shakes never stopped, even when he did stop following during feeding time, but he still won't eat if we walk away. Just looks for us and whines and shakes. He just seems like the only time he can relax is when we are all sleeping at night or when we are gone and he's in his kennel. We've had so many people comment on his behavior that I can't even count them all. We've seen 5 vets in 3 towns and they've all told us that he isn't losing weight and doesn't require medication to stop the diarrhea (this is true only because we figured out on our own that if we skip feeding for 24 hours it usually gets better, prior to that we would get anti-inflammatories at least 2 times a month for the diarrhea) and that some dogs are just anxious. We've also tried CBD dog treats but those didn't make a difference either. I'm just very frustrated at this point that our dog continues to experience this almost constant anxiety but since he's an animal, no one takes it seriously. Sure, maybe it doesn't seem to be physically affecting him, but we've figured out that mental health is pretty important for people too, and I'd imagine that it's the same for dogs. Even if someone would prescribe him something as-needed for the inevitable situations which we know are going to happen, to proactively reduce the anxiety before it causes the side effects like the diarrhea and shutting down, I'd be happy. We've learned to manage as well as we can at home but there are other times that we can't prevent stressful situations. Any help would be appreciated.
The beverage, not the city. If you do then what types are you drinking? And where do people get together to drink?
Does anyone know if the history club still hosts tea events?
Im not a whiskey connoisseur or something lol, infact i mostly drink brandy, cheap brandy !! once in awhile i treat my self to a henny , just curious if theres a place you can try different whiskey ? just like wine tasting for wine people?
Still lots of good pumpkins here
Hi, I used to attend Jefferson High School and moved before I could finish my sophomore year (2021-2023) and before I moved to Georgia I was about to turn in these books to their library before I left but my mom changed the move date before I could return anything. I remember when I was freshman they said if I don’t return them I won’t be able to graduate. I was just wondering if that’ll still affect my graduation progress.
Hello everyone!
I'm looking to join a volley ball, club, baseball/softball group, tenis club, paintball or airsoft team. Anything really. I'm a 28 year old male. Just trying to be as active as I used to be while having fun and meeting new people.
We’re taking senior photos for a family member this weekend and I need more ideas on where to take photos. He’s legally blind so he really likes bright colors and lights but the only suggestions he’s liked so far are the Mario mural or an arcade.
My office building always smells so bad. It took over 6 months for them to admit they had a broken sewage pipe in a wall that they knew about but was "too much hassle" to fix right away. Lately they're trying to tell us this new bad smell is just what it smells like outside but the whole building doesn't stink only the area my dept is in does. I've taken it as high as I can with my managers and was just wondering if this would be against any OSHA rules or city ordinance. They won't look into what the smell is so idk if it's safe to be breathing all day every day.
Edit: I've lived in Sioux Falls my whole life I know what it smells like here, what Smithfields smells like. If it was just the outside air it would be a problem for the whole building not just one part of a large building.
