Being blasted by bombs, bullets, body parts, busts and big bads, did Mrs. Hudson ever regret giving Sherlock a cut rate for her nice little flat? Maybe think she should have thought twice? Or was she just as much an adrenaline junkie as Sherlock and John?
I've tried searching for this online and I can't find it anywhere, though I'm sure someone has asked. What accent does Mrs. Hudson have? The way she said Shehh-lock sounds so unique to me, I'm curious where in Britain the character is supposed to be from and/or where the actor is making her sound like she's from.
A couple of days ago I saw something about a "Sherlock" movie. As both main stars seem to be quite busy these days, is this just a clickbait, trying to raise false hopes?
Has anyone heard either way? It just seems unlikely.
Does anyone know any books about Sherlock that are somewhat similar to the BBC series? One of the things that I really like about BBC Sherlock is its modern adaptation. Thanks in advance!
What do we think about the fact that when Mary died John sees her as a coping mechanism. Do we think that when Sherlock “died” he saw him too
Maybe like top 5 or top 3 smartest characters also intelligence is somewhat subjective I know so order doesn’t really matter.
Why did Mycroft’s assistant take John to Irene Adler? How does Irene have influence over her ?
Help so I really like Crocheting and I like Crocheting things related to my interests and whoopdedoo Sherlock is my special interest. My point is, I have no idea what to make, has anyone got any ideas? I'm not very good at amigurumi but I'm willing to learn if anything sounds really cool
Out of these, who do you all think was the strongest female character from the series?
These five characters are some of the most notable and influential female characters in the series.

I don't remember the episode number but at John's wedding, Sherlock gives best man speech and it has this beautiful line which really pulled at my heartstrings. "John, I am a ridiculous man redeemed only by the warmth and constancy of your friendship"
I’m a huge fan of this filmmaker and was truly blown away by the teaser trailer released this week—check this out!
In the Hounds of Baskerville ending, one animal is shot but while examining it another is heard and killed. Where/what is the second animal? or is it again only because of the drug?>!!<
I am rewatching Sherlock on Hulu, and I remember DISTINCTLY that Mycroft would straighten out the knocker and that's how Sherlock knows he is at 22 Baker Street. I'm on the 2016 single episode special, I haven't seen it happen yet. Did they remove it, did I miss it, or have I gone mad?
From the whole run of 13 episodes, what is the top favourite dialogue from series. Be it any character. For me its - “All lives end, all hearts are broken, Caring is not an advantage, Sherlock!” - Mycroft.
And this one comes close second - “Sentiment is a chemical defect found on the losing side”.
I would love to know what are favourites in this community.
Edit: I am loving that there is lot of diversity in the answers. I’ve read most of them. Thanks for engaging y’all.
I’ve been rewatching season 1 to 3 these past few days and while I really enjoyed the first episode of season 3 I can’t help but notice that Sherlock’s character has become too robot like, especially in episode 2. He was always a bit cold and socially awkward, but I feel like they went way overboard with it in season 3 and I don’t understand why, I think S1 and 2 made it clear that he wasn’t the best with people.
It feels like watching a bad comedy show at times. This might be an unpopular opinion, but I was hoping to get some thoughts from other fans. I really, really loved season 1 and 2 and was massively into it when it first came out, but now I remember why it stopped being fun for me.
I am obsessed with the BBC Sherlock. I found the shop that sold the 221B and located the door knocker. Obviously I haven’t put the knocker on yet. 😂
Just one thing per episode and good/bad
Apart from the obvious debate about the empty hearse, can someone please explain how a bomb inside an underground tube, enclosed inside the carriage, is supposed to do any of the dramatic damage shown on screen? How could it do any substantial damage at all? Underground tunnels like that were used as bomb shelters after all.
So I love the movies, have read a few books but haven't watched the series. I watched the first ep and it was good, the second EP didn't keep my attention as well as the first. What episode would you recommend for me to get into this series it seems like it wouldn't matter too much what order I watch in, what's your favorite or most suspenseful episode?
