Hi everyone,
I’m an incoming MBA student at Seattle U, starting this spring, and I’m looking for tips to save on tuition or reduce overall costs. As an international student from Asia, managing expenses is a huge priority for me since tuition and living costs here are significantly higher than back home.
Regarding tuition, I’d love to know if Seattle U offers anything like the "buy 2 get 2" program at UWB, which I’ve also been admitted to. I plan to ask my advisor, but it might take some time to hear back.
Additionally, are there any creative ways to reduce living costs while staying close to campus?
Any advice or insights from current students or alumni would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
Hello everyone, I’m looking for some advice and recommendations. I’m a transfer student and just got admitted to Seattle University as a biology major. I’m still undecided if SU is the right fit for me because I’m concerned about the cost. As a low-income student without parental support, I’m afraid I might not be able to afford the tuition. I’m trying to choose between UW Bothell and Seattle University and would love to hear from current SU students. Any advice or insight on your experience with tuition, financial aid, or managing costs would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Hi everyone, my team and I are collecting data for our behavioral economics class and need people to take our survey. It is a short survey asking questions about your likeliness to spend money when getting a notification from a grocery store app. It has 3 questions with 2 multiple choice ones, so it will be very quick! If anyone can take the survey, this would be very appreciated and I'll be sure to return the favor as well if anyone has surveys!

I am looking for 2-3 elective type classes between 3-5 credits which aren't too much of a commitment and are still interesting. Does anyone have any recommendations for any classes that could get me the extra credits that I need to graduate? I am a business student so I am pretty much open to anything thats interesting and easy.
How much debt were you in after attending Seattle University as a transfer BSN student? Please include if you did or did not receive any type of financial assistance.
Hello, I am transferring back to SU as a second year. I had absolute HELL with my roommates (I switched in the middle of the year and got unlucky again. Think growing mold on the floors and putting sex toys on my stuff as a person with OCD.)
I can rent an apartment in my parent's name but they will not be living in it. Is it possible to just say I will be living with a parent? Will they need anything else? I would like to add the apartment will not be on any licenses in that case. I have an emotional support animal as well and she would make a terrible roommate to anyone else as well.
Any tips would be appreciated. Thank you :)
Hi! I am conducting an Urban Economics project for my class at Western Washington University to conduct community engagement on identifying local urban planning issues and solutions. This is a chance for young adults to participate in city development to make sure your needs are met. Survey results will be analyzed by me and presented to the Mayor of Bothell. The survey is short and should take around 5 minutes to complete. Thanks! Link to Survey
Applying to these two programs for Fall 2025, and would love to hear the perspective of a student/alumni. Thank you!
Seattle University is administering the 10th annual citywide Seattle Public Safety Survey, which is accessible at publicsafetysurvey.org from October 15th through November 30th and is available in Amharic, Arabic, Chinese, English, Korean, Oromo, Somali, Spanish, Tagalog, Tigrinya and Vietnamese. The purpose of the survey is to solicit feedback on public safety and security concerns from those who live and/or work in Seattle. A report on the survey results will be provided to the Seattle Police Department to help them better understand your neighborhood’s safety and security concerns and community-police dialogues will be held in May-August 2025 to provide an opportunity for police-community engagement about the results. More information on the Seattle Public Safety Survey which is part of the Seattle Police Department’s Micro-Community Policing Plans (SPD MCPP), can be found on the SPD MCPP website.
During the annual Seattle Public Safety Survey administration period October 15-November 30, you may notice interactive signs on objects around Seattle, asking people to have a friendly chat. Using Hello Lamp Post, an innovative engagement platform that makes public spaces interactive, the signs provide an opportunity to access and ask questions about the survey. To see where the interactive signs are located, see the Seattle map for the sign locations. To ask questions and access the survey here, see: Hello Seattle Online.
Please circulate this information to your friends, family, co-workers and community members and feel free to post the information on your social media. Here is a link to access the 2024 Seattle Public Safety Survey flyers in all 11 languages. Public safety and security are community concerns. Hi everyone I’m moving to Seattle and transferring during winter quarter! Any recommendations on housing?!
Hey! We are a group from Seattle University looking for college students for our study! Our study explores the effects of seasonal patterns and home climate on psychological well-being. Data from this survey will remain anonymous, remain only within this study, and have no direct identifiers from participants. We appreciate anyone who is willing to participate and to share this link with other college students!
Hey everyone!
I’ll be joining Seattle University’s Albers School of Business in Spring 2025 for the MBA program and I’m trying to figure out housing options as an international student, especially since my classes are mostly in the evenings. Ideally, I’m looking for something convenient, affordable, and with a good commute to campus.
I’d really appreciate any insights or recommendations on:
Best areas or neighborhoods that are close to Seattle U and work well for students with night classes.
Tips on how to find housing as an international student - any specific sites or services that are more reliable?
Whether it’s better to look into university-provided housing or consider off-campus options.
Thanks so much for your help!
I’m a PhD student researching the relationship between religiosity and “adulting” behaviors among Gen Z emerging adults for my dissertation.
If you are 18-29 years old, whether you consider yourself religious or non-religious, please take this brief 5-7 minute-long, completely confidential survey.
I was visiting someone and was told the parking was free then I realize I got a ticket for no valid parking. Thought it was bit off since no parking is free in downtown except if it’s run by the city after certain time. It was 65$ and on the back said you can pay the fine or contest it after 24 hour has passed. I’m pretty sure this reason would not pass but if I appeal will it still reduce the cost? Or if it’s first time offense will it get dismissed? I know uw parking garage is free after certain time so I thought it was similar here. Was at 925pm and stayed only for 1.5 hours. Anyways, what a bummer 😅
I was wondering, even though SU's supplemental essays are optional, did you choose to submit them or not? And if so, could somebody drop some tips for making those essays strong?
Hi! It will only take 2 minutes! Please fill out this survey for my high school brother’s research project.

I have looked everywhere, I don’t want boxed mac and cheese so where can i reliably find good mac and cheese without walking to safeway?

hi guys i was wondering if undergraduates could enter the school of law to study or just for a quiet spot to be?
Hi,
I recently graduate with a BA in sociology and have pretty good math skills (calculus I and calculus II I did a p/f on that class for health reasons and statistics) and am wondering what SeattleU looks for in its MSBA applicants. Thanks!
Hi!
