I've completed my major and minor requirements, so looking for suggestions on easy GPA boosters to take in my final year. I've already taken World of Insects and Into gender sexuality studies. Any suggestions especially if its Asych and no midterms.
I think a bunch of you know about this 3 credit class or wtv you can take up. I want to do research but is it worth taking this up for it? If anyone did take it up can you pleaseeeeeeeee tell me how it went for you? thanks
planning on taking this lovely class next sem and I wanna actually attend it but turns out there's only one lecturer called Cheong. Couldnt find him on rate my prof so I'm asking you guys. How much does he care for his students?
I submitted my Common Application on October 29, created my Rutgers portal and linked it to the SRAR on October 30, and submitted my SRAR on October 31. I received an email from SRAR confirming that I’ve submitted my grades to Rutgers. However, on the Rutgers portal, it still says ‘Access your SRAR’ and there is no checkmark next to the SRAR. Does anyone know if this is common, a glitch, or if there’s something wrong on my end? And if there’s something wrong from my side, would I be still considered as early action applicant or regular decision applicant? Thank you.
I was looking to get a head start on general chemistry before I take it next semester. Does anyone happen to know what textbook is used and possibly what the curriculum is?
I submitted Rutgers application on oct 31 for EA but then submitted the SRAR today at nov 2. Will I still be considered for early action for Rutgers?
I was sitting down at this cafe just minding my business and these 2 Muslims start talking to me and they made me uncomfortable by making fun of my faith. I didn’t like how this one dude was askin if I eat beef and if I was religious or extremely religious. What that gotta do with anything? Like do you go around and target other people of faiths? I’m proud to be Hindu and Jai shree Ram
It's been almost 60 hours since I submitted my application to Rutgers University through the Common App. The website mentioned that I would receive instructions on creating a community ID for the school’s website within 24-48 hours. Is it normal to take this long?
The Creation of Games Society presents Scarlet Game Jam Fall 2024, our bi-annual game jam!

I heard if you get a A on the final for Gen Chem for Engineers you automatically get a A on the course. Is that true?
I submitted the common app application close to midnight of the due date. I submitted on time. Does it matter that the SRAR is completed like a couple days later than the early action deadline since it takes 24-72 hours to process or am I cooked?
I finished filling out my SSAR and I've been looking for the email. It says they would send it within 24 to 48 hours but I don't have it and I'm stressing because I need to submit the SRAR by tonight. What do I do
My RA posted that theres gonna be room checks soon. I have like a rice cooker and kettle idr if they told us to not keep those but i have it. What do i do? I also wanted to know how careful they are with the checks. Do they just scout or do they go through like my draws and suitcases? I dont wanna get cooked cause i have alc in my room on top of it. I’m thinking about taking this class next semester. How is it?
I applied to MGSA early action to get a music minor because I thought MGSA would offer that, but on the website it says that the minor is only for students who aren't enrolled in MGSA. Apparently, I should've applied to the SAS in order to get a music minor. What should I do? Is there any way to rectify this? What happens if I withdraw my application? Please help!!!
Is it easier to take engineering mechanics statics online vs in person? And any recommendations for professors for this class?
Thanks to whoever finally replaced the leg extension machine🙏 I appreciate it. Took a year but we finally got to it
title. all my classes would be on college ave, but there's no resident parking on college ave so i'd have to park on livi and take the bus to my car but i would be using my car nearly every day so is it worth it when i could just live on livi and take the bus to and from class and always have access to my car? (this is all because i am hoping for livi apts or the yard apts)
Does anyone have any idea on the acceptance rate for this program? Also, what are your thoughts on the Summer 2025 intake? Is it less competitive compared to the other intakes as only domestic applicants are eligible for this intake? What your opinions overall on the Summer intake and the MBS in Engineering Management program?
Since its diwali time and it's the hindu new year, my friends and I were planning to go to a temple nearby. Does anyone know of any temples near the campus? I heard someone talk about one near the Livingston campus but I'm not sure of the address and neither does it show on google maps. Please let me know if you have one in mind guys. Thank you
Is there any point in following up on an interview that I ~know~ for a fact went horribly? I practiced for my interview by doing mock interviews, preparing answers for general interview questions, and researching the position and department. However, my nerves got the best of me and I know for a fact that it did not go well. (Really wanted this position too) It was a trainee position for an nj state job and I heard that it is a really slow process to hear back for an NJ state job whether that's for an interview or an update on the status of the application or to start once you're offered the job. Though I think I got an interview relatively quickly (about a month after I applied) but I think that may be partly because I applied on Rutgers Handshake. Considering they also asked for a professional reference contact list to be sent to an email after the interview I assume that this also prolonged the process a bit. I wanted to give a respectable amount of time after the interview to follow up so it's been a bit over a week. However, I was wondering ~if~ there was any point after knowing how the interview went and when is a good time to request a status application. I would probably do it by phone rather than email as that was how I was scheduled for an interview in the first place.
I APed out of the first three physics sections, and I was wondering whether it was possible as a freshman to take analytical physics 2b second sem just to get it over with early, or whether it would be real difficult?
where do grad students go out?? i’ve heard there’s good bars in highland park but have not heard any names. it seems like the only place to go out is the city or hoboken but they’re so far and expensive. and my old (22y/o) ass is not going to huey’s or queens
my room has been consistently above 80 degrees since they turned the heat on. It is hell. All of my roommates have been rotating out on sleeping in the living room because it is too humid for us to sleep in our individual rooms. Is anyone else experiencing this/has experienced this before? I have a feeling matenince cannot do much but I would be so grateful to know that I have options. I am literally melting.

Hey everyone,
I’m looking into Rutgers’ MBA options, specifically the Camden online MBA and the part-time program offered through Rutgers Newark/New Brunswick. I have 3 years of work experience and work in pharmaceutical underwriting, I hope to stay in finance but open to different industries beside pharmaceuticals. I qualify for in-state tuition, so both are financially feasible, but I’m wondering if there’s a significant difference between the two when it comes to:
1. Job Placement: Do either of these programs have better job placement rates, or connections to certain industries?
2. Pay: Do graduates of one program tend to earn more starting out?
3. Employer Perception: How do employers view these two programs? Is there a noticeable difference in terms of reputation?
4. Overall Employment Opportunities: Is one program better for networking or gaining access to certain companies?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated! I want to make sure I choose the program that will open the most doors and have a strong ROI. Thanks in advance!

Hi! I'm doing a survey on sustainable transportation at Rutgers, and I would appreciate if you filled it out. It's short and would help me a lot! Thank you 🥹💗
