Does anyone know any driving schools with decent rates near campus?
I start undergrad at Rutgers Newark next year and I was wondering about how safe it is. I’ve heard many stories of muggins/car thefts. Should I get a kill switch/carry a pocket knife?
Hey guys!! I am graduating this December, and looking for someone to take over my lease at University Center, which is right on campus.
Location: University Center on campus Floor: 12 Type: two Bed two Bath shared Rent: $860 per month Availability: December. Lease duration: May 2025 (We can discuss the details)
This is a great opportunity if you’re looking for on-campus accommodation or planning to move in soon. It’s super convenient for classes, close to campus amenities and the roommates are super friendly and respectful. Clean and super bright in the morning and gets plenty of natural light!!
I just filed my hesaa a few days ago and just checked my term bill today. I don’t see my FAFSA or HESAA amount on there. I also got a 3000/yr Rutgers scholarship which also isn’t on the term bill either
Hey everyone! I’m looking to transfer my lease for a 2 bed, 2 bath apartment at University Center (UC), just a short walk from NJIT’s campus. The lease starts in October and runs through May, with rent at $859 per person per installment. To clarify I am looking for 2 individuals who would like to live in the UC in a shared room with 2 beds and a shared bathroom.
The location is super convenient for students or anyone needing easy access to campus. If you’re interested or have any questions, feel free to DM me! Looking forward to making this a smooth and quick process:)
P.S. $859 per installment/person.

To all RBS Newark, or New Brunswick students‼️ I would like to know if any of you went to the mega fair and how was it because I couldn’t go was it actually worth it? Did y’all get interviews because I heard you can get like on site interviews if they really want you but i’m not sure if that’s true. Let me know your thoughts
Hey all, and specifically student veterans. I'm new to Rutgers and was hoping to gain some clarification on the university's G.I. Bill timeline. Around what point in the fall semester has the university typically submitted your tuition and fees to the VA? I was informed last month that tuition and fees are submitted afer the add/drop period- which checks out. However, the add/drop period has since passed, and my tuition and fees have yet to be reported. At my undergrad institution with a large student veteran population in Virginia, tuition and fees were reported a day or two after the add/drop period. Any insight would be appreciated! Really counting on that G.I. Bill refund, northern living isn't cheap lol.
I Recently got an Ipad and I wanted to know what note taking apps are good and easy to navigate. I don’t mind paying as long as it’s a reasonable price. (Bio major)
There’s no attractive homosexual tops here!!!!! 💔💔💔💔
I tried buying tickets for Rutgers football, but the website didn't recognize my net ID. Is it only for New Brunswick students?

Hey, I’m a current freshmen here at RUN, before coming here I heard a lot of things about the school and its negatives, the underfunding, etc. Now that classes have started and I’m actually going around campus I don’t really see any of the big negatives that I’ve seen online. I was wondering what are some of the negatives that might go unseen, or what are the ones that might’ve gone under my nose, because so far I haven’t seen much.
Did any RBS student in this community did an area manager internship at Amazon how was it and what kind of questions do they ask you on your interview please let me know. Thank you.

Hi. I’m 22(f), and I’m planning to apply for the healthcare analytics and intelligence course at rutgers. Please comment if anyone has applied or graduated from the same. I’ll dm my queries to you. Thanks !
Hello,
I’m planning to pursue the Master's in Information Technology and Analytics (MITA) at Rutgers Newark, but I have some concerns and questions regarding how this program might impact my career.
Currently, I work as a blockchain engineer and plan to continue in a technical coding role, such as software or blockchain engineering, after completing my master’s degree. However, since the program includes "Analytics" in its title, I’m concerned that potential employers might see it as more data-oriented and less focused on software development or blockchain-related roles. From a hiring perspective, will this degree affect my chances of staying in a coding or development-focused role after graduation?
Additionally, I’m particularly interested in pursuing electives in Cybersecurity. Will the MITA program allow students full freedom to select Cybersecurity as a concentration in their electives?
Lastly, could you provide some insights on the placement statistics for this program, especially for students aiming to remain in more technical roles post-graduation?
Thank you for your time and guidance. I’m excited about the prospect of combining both the business and IT perspectives through this program, but I want to ensure it aligns with my career goals.
I am trying to book my return flight for after winter break and I can't figure out which day the break actually ends. I saw both January 17th and January 21st on the website. Which is the date Spring Semester actually starts for RU-N?
