I have already been to ResQ but it’s too far out. Any other places I can volunteer at?

I believe if Pune expand with some planning then traffic would have been much lower, with correct management there would have been a very good discipline in the road. Sense of driving change when we see wrong people, bad roads, very bad traffic management. Do we believe Pune can sustain or become chaos like bangalore and mumbai with no public transport(metro is only our hope) and traffic sense. What else could be worse. Weather and pollution are making people sick too.

IT industry destroyed this city? I dont think so but now aome of the part of industry should move to North so that it would reduce the city development and make it stablized.

I am from North and love this city. I love every city but it feels shame when I see destruction of every city due to some unmannered people(outsider and insider both) and unplanned road.

It is raining here rn guys....I woke up abruptly because it was so hot...I was sweating...what's wrong with the weather these days

So I have been living alone since last 5 years in Pune but I've always struggled to find something to do in my free time outside my home. I was away in my hometown for 2 months and there I was literally dying to come back to Pune. But the moment I came back, my schedule has opened up. After I do all the chores, I literally don't have anything to do until my office hours start. My office timing is also odd ( 2PM to 11PM) so I don't even get to enjoy night walks or anything like that. On top of that, I work from home so I literally have days sometimes weeks of no real communication with anyone. I'm really struggling of this loneliness but at the same time, I've soul crushing social anxiety. I'd like to go out and meet new people but don't know where to start.

Anybody in the same boat as me? Has anyone came out of such situation before?

I came to Pune in 2021, and since then, I’ve been in love with this city, despite all its pros and cons.
I found my first love here, though we recently broke up or rather, she broke up. That’s a different story. But even without her, this city still feels beautiful.
Nothing beats a slow bike ride on JM Road with an earphone in one ear. Standing in front of Dagdusheth and watching the all those different emotions on people’s faces always makes me wonder about life.
I enjoy talking to strangers be it a random guy waiting at a signal, rickshaw drivers, or street vendors. Giving lift to strangers किंवा ते पेट्रोल संपलेलं असतं तेव्हा toe देणं then those small talks knowing 'Kisiko kuch farq nhi padne wala'. When I don’t have anything to give to the transgenders at traffic signals, I simply place one hand on my chest and bow my head slightly, as a gesture of respect. When they smile and place their hand on my head in return.It’s these little moments that make me love this city even more.

Last year due to Job I was not aware that we had to apply for Degree via SPPU site. I used to study in VIT, Pune which is an autonomous college affiliated to SPPU. So it was our responsibility to file for degree and not of college's.

So I just started working at an office in Balewadi Heights, I currently stay near Bhosale Nagar (near SPPU). I need some "good" mess/dining hall suggestions either in my area or anywhere on the way. I tried a few near me, but they gave me either a bad taste or a bad stomach. Then started ordering rice bowls but it's getting too expensive for me on a regular basis. Can't afford getting sick now. I recently rescued two 4-week-old male kittens from a heartbreaking situation. A stray cat gave birth to three kittens in an empty apartment. Sadly, some people in the building had the mother cat relocated, leaving the babies behind. One kitten tragically fell to its death trying to get back inside. The other two were locked in the balcony for two days with no food or water until I intervened.

I can’t keep them as I already have two adult cats who are stressed out. However, these little fighters deserve all the love in the world!

• Age: 4 weeks (both male).
• Health: De-wormed and currently being treated for fleas.
• Personality: Sweet, playful, and curious.
