Sorry for videography, it is not easy to hold phone and powerwash.
Oil tanker with 15+ year oil vinyl came in to get it removed and cleaned up. Onto the acid bath after this!
Hi guys!
I bought a Karcher K5.140 about 4 years ago and although it has always pulsed like there’s something wrong, it’s always worked well.
Anyway, I haven’t used it since last summer, but for it out of the garage today to have a go at my dirty patio.
I hooked the water up and held the trigger to get the air out of the system, before turning the power on.
As usual it got up to pressure, then started pulsing.
I used the pressure washer for about 10 minutes before getting a phonecall.
Not wanting to walk back over the where the noisy pressure washer was, I laid the lance down and spoke on the phone for about 5 minutes.
During this time the K5 didn’t pulse, but instead just constantly tried to get to pressure.
I picked up the lance and tried it and it seemed to have reduced pressure.
I went to the K5 and turned it off, then turned the tap off, disconnected the water and checked that the hose was running properly. It was.
So I hooked it up again, turned the water on, then turned the Karcher on and again it just sat making the loud noise, never getting to pressure.
There was a small damp patch under the foot, but not significant and the Karcher website says some minor leaking is normal and nothing to worry about.
Does anyone have any ideas what I should be checking?
All help is appreciated!
Thanks!
Hope everyone is having a great day! I have a dewalt 4000 psi 3.5gpm and am looking to get a jrod. Should I get the 2-3 gpm jrod or the 4 gpm? Not finding one in between 3-4. Thanks.
3000psi, electric Greenworks, "turbo" nozzle... which I enjoy immensely.
Cleaning the dirt off the chips was the reward for shifting them all. Satisfaction.
