Hi. I'm looking for a valuable channels, which shows how this business looks like.
I'm considering getting into the laser cleaning business and I'd like to get some different perspectives on it. I want to know what I should pay attention to, what kind of problems I might face, and what equipment I should buy. All the videos I've found so far are short clips demonstrating the laser cleaning process, but I'd like to learn more. What are the differences between the various characteristics of laser sources. Etc.

300W laser cleaner machine for metal rust removal
The bright white is absorbing the light from the laser and stopping it from working (i think haha)
Hi everyone !!
I do electronics repair, and I’m wondering if anyone here has any experience using 10-30w pulse laser to clean off dirt and oxidation ?
Can it be done safely?
Hey guys,
After looking into this for a long time now, im just gonna do it. I want to expand my business into laser cleaning. I want to start out with a 300w (or 500? Is it worth the extra money when starting out) pulse laser. Where did you get yours from? I dont really have a 100k+ budget to buy a laser here in europe, so china it is.
I know most lasers from china run the same components, so the company itself is the most important part to me. How was their service and are you satisfied with the laser?
Then theres the other stuff you"ll need:
•Air compressor and generator (only if no air pressure and power is available on site) are not that special.
•which laser barriers do you use and recommend? When working inside, do you also use something above you like a tent?
•any portable welding fume extractor with a hose to the laser gun will work?
•goggles and papr respirator?
What other stuff do you use and bring with you? I have not done any laser safety course yet. Before starting out I will do that offcourse.
I have a 1500w CW, and I wear the glasses and usually wear a mask. I won’t hit any reflective metal like chrome or stainless steel but I would like to hear if anyone else had any tips or anything because I don’t really want to go blind at 19.
Looking at selling my Narran rod 100. Low hours just for practice. Save on the taxes, shipping plus a decent discount.
Looking to steal someone’s homework.
I’m ready to dive into this and looking for some clarity. I would appreciate the time if you consider answering.
I have an application where I'd like to try to clean the dirt and oils and grease and dust off of our equipment at my facility. I've only seen metals that are getting stripped of paint to get clean. Or any material getting stripped to the base material. I'm just looking to clean the oily dust that accumulates on our equipment. So I guess my question to everyone is can a laser clean paint without removing it?
I have just received my 300w Pulse laser machine. This is for a hire business and it is being hired tomorrow for someone to use on a car.
I didn't get much time to play around with it. Typically, what would you recommend the settings should be for
A: Rust removal on a car B: Paint removal on a car
I am a bit confused with frequency, length etc.... it would be nice if there was a reference chart somewhere.
Is anybody willing to share their business insurance provider name with me. I’m having trouble getting insurance for my laser cleaning business as nobody wants to insure you if you have no experience. Thanks.
Hello,
I would be grateful if you could provide some feedback based on your experience.
I was wondering if anyone purchased the 300w 'off road' trolley machine or something similar to the one in the image below. Do people here with actual experience or product research think the overall performance of the cabinet version is superior to the more portable case or trolley? Are differences in performance justified by benefits of portability?
I'm doing pre purchase research these past few weeks with the intention of buying from China The examples below are from Zac and Sfx laser. I don't intend buying from either company.....Lot of similar looking machines about! Ideally spec sheets would compare each element of performance. There are some major differences e.g. the max single pulse energy from the cabinet Vs the case - not sure if these outweigh the benefit of portability in a given situation. Personally, I would choose the cabinet or the trolley instead of the case.

My problem is since I told my wife about laser cleaning and I showed her videos of the cleaning process, she became more obsessed than me, just to let you know guys she is a HR manager in a hospital so this is just a different world to her, and I'm a welder, I been looking into this laser business for the past 2 years or more, and I still haven't decided whether to start a business or not, my wife been at me day and night asking me if she can get a loan or borrow from her family so we can start this laser business because no one is doing in the whole province, I like the ambition but I still don't know how the demand would be or the service prices, it seems promising to be honest, I compared it sandblasting and it's 250 and hour where I live so imagine laser cleaning, my question is what would be the labor cost or the service cost whether it's mobile business or storefront
Cleaning a brass statuette, which is actually a stand for a pot plant. Done with a 300w pulse laser, settings are turned down (i reduced the frequency), so that the substrate wasn't damaged. Original finish not polished, it's got the rough sand cast finish. Please let me know what you think of my cleaning technique!
I am looking for a small metal cleaning laser. Ideally for a split surface about 1-3mm wide on each side. About 9 mm apart. No deeper than 1mm from the top of the surface. It cannot be wider than an inch or longer than 5 inches. Its power supply will consist of 13v and 3amps max. This will be moving, so it will need to clean as well as it can without any big skips. It will be able to repeat the surface area upon another round. So if needed it will be kept in service until it has completed the work.
I’m assuming this is impossible because of the technology is not available yet.
