Saturnia luna

They live for only 5-6 days after pupation, dying due to hunger because they don’t eat.

Do you also rescue beetles?

This is a very brave beetle. My son and I were picking wildflowers for the kindergarten for the summer solstice celebration. The flowers were in water, and the beetle fell into the water. We went to the kindergarten, and only an hour later I remembered about the beetle and checked if it was still in the water. It had been trying to rescue itself for more than an hour, still actively moving its legs. I placed a napkin under its legs and took it out into the sun. It cleaned its antennae, dried off a bit, and flew away. I feel good now and wish him all the best.
