**Thank you to everyone for your suggestions...I have made significant price reductions. I really appreciate your recommendations***
I have been blessed to sale an amazing vinyl collection dating back to the 1920's (collected over three generations)! It is a fledgling site but items are added every week! https://www.discogs.com/seller/holliwoods/profile
I look forward to speaking to you soon!
Hey everyone! My name is Matt and I run Too Many Records in NoPo. We just had our 2 year anniversary in May, and while we've built a wonderful community thus far, we're still getting the word out that we exist.
We're almost entirely used, and we specialize in a eclectic mix of genres, and a heavy emphasis on "holy grail" records from all eras (75 spots on our walls, and a bin full of overflow) -- we also have a solid 5 for $20 section and a dollar bin, though.
If you haven't been to the shop before and you come through for your first time, come say hi and mention you saw this here on r/PDXVinylCollectors and I'll hook you up with 10% off any of the records in our bins as a thank you for checking us out.
You can follow us on IG where we post flip videos all the time of stuff that's coming into the shop (@toomanyrecords_) -- see y'all soon!
I have some albums that I have doubles of- Bikini Kill, Bee Gees, Benatar (Pat), Blues(Moody )and other albums that don't start in B.
I could sell, but it would be fun to get together with other vinyl collectors to swap some good stuff. Does this ever happen?

First time poster just joined. We have this antique console record player (not the one on top lol) and we are wanting to have it refinished and repaired. Currently does not work, but we would like to modernize it a little bit and make it usable again. Any shop suggestions? TIA
My buddy and I will have around 1k records and cassettes for sale. Also some vintage stereo gear.

My boyfriend’s Plug in Jesus record was completely broken by our nieces and I want to get it for father’s day for him, can’t find it anywhere.
TIA!
Hello, I am wondering what are the best audio equipment stores In PDX? I am looking for some nice bookshelf speakers with a wired connection. Please help with Recs thank you.
Who goes to record store day anymore? Stupid long lines. Blueberry vapor wafting thru the air weaving thru oregon homegrown backyard farmer smoke. Expensive noisy, non-filled, warped, off-center, paper scuffed, dished pseudo-collector colored re-re-issued bootlegged lathe cut vinyl(s)!
I'm staying right here in front of my stereo listening to my four dollar records I got at Crossroads yesterday. Good luck out there y'all!
Anyone know any antique stores that carry a wide variety of records? 🙏🏽
Hey Portland vinyl collectors. I'm wondering about other's experiences searching for cool records during these strange times. Spots that are handling the situation well? Have a nice inventory? I'm hoping that all the record stores will be able to stay open in the future, and hoping that this sub can maybe revive too!
I have been collecting records for the past 50 years and have decided to get rid of about 60% of my collection of rock, jazz, and the blues (no classical or country records) LPs. I will have about 25 boxes of records.
I have priced the records very reasonably. You can get hundreds of records, mint, and good titles, for $3 or $4. I also have some very high end pieces that will cost more, obviously.
I will have the sale this Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 10:00 at my garage at 6960 SE Tierra del Mar in Beaverton, Oregon. See you there.
Like if say there was to be another annual record show.
For reference, now the Night Owl is usually in April and October.
The Crate Diggers show has been in August.
The Kelso Longview show is in March.
Record Store Day is in April.
What do you think?
I have an about 6k record collection and an hoping to bring it down to 3. I’m new to the area and was curious if there are any decent shops in town that offer a fair price. Would I be better off with Craigslist?
I don't think USPS has priority mail boxes that fit a 12" very nicely. Should I just cut up other sized boxes and sandwich the record between the cardboard? I'm starting to put a bunch of electronic vinyl up for sale and need to figure out the best/cheapest way to ship.
Thanks!
