But in syntax error please for the love of god if you’re playing public help with the SINS core stealing, there’s a button on the actual AI chamber, then also one inside the manager office behind the 3 books near the safe, hold them both down at the same time for literally a quarter of a second and the chamber holding SINS will open to be stolen too.

Hey, does anyone know where I can find the images for the default hacking screens for PD3? I want to see if I can use one of them for a phone wallpaper, but trying to google it comes up with either cheats or mods to change it in game.

I'll probably get heat for this, but I don't care, let's get this party started. I ain't putting this story over.

I think the way they handled the antagonists and especially the finish of the story so far, was the absolute shits. It's a story with no satisfying payoff to it, a story with no PAYDAY if you will.

I get that the story doesn't have to send me to the moon and make much sense in a PAYDAY game... but Jesus Christ this game's writing... I don't mean the low-budget cutscenes, I am talking about the writing. I don't wanna knock anyone, but holy hell... the foundation of the story was simple and not Goddamn rocket science, I am cranky about the way it was carried on.

Okay, let's have a little recap for those that do not remember much of the story:

The gang retires after PAYDAY 2 until an assassination plot takes place worldwide and every gang member was hit, at the time we knew that Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf, Chains and Joy survived, so did Dragan, but I don't remember him being mentioned anywhere? He just appeared with Dragan Files out of the blue? I might be missing something.

Anyway, Dragan is out in the world looking for the rest of survivors, if there are any. We are at the very beginning of the game, we are not going into the DLC right now, we don't know if anyone else survived at this point.

Shade gathers up the confirmed survivors in New York, they discuss what happened and decide to get their revenge, they will need a lot of money, but their accounts were wiped, so they gotta start robbing again.

Simple, but an effective excuse for PAYDAY 3 to take place, let's fucking go, we're gonna fuck those conspirators up!

I will skip ahead to points in time where the gang starts going after the conspirators.

Patricia J. Sharke:

Shade: "Let's pay her bank a little visit. And before you ask, Wolf, no, we're not gonna kill her."

Uhm, okay, why? The story says no, we're not killing her, we're gonna ruin her reputation instead, give her a spanking, which results in her being killed anyway by Concord's assassin, so why didn't we just do a number on her ourselves and still proceeded onto the next antagonists? If we're not killing her then and there for some reason, they could have expanded her role in the story, instead of just killing her off after we gave her a slap.

Ralph Garnet:

We gave him a spanking as well and ruined his tech deal...

Good Lord this writing... guess what, he ends up being killed by Concord's assassin just like Sharke, and he was framed for self deletion, to mock his father's death, we could have just popped the bastard ourselves and he could have had a better role in the story. He got killed off straight away by Concord.

Mason Laurent:

Mason's writing is a straight up stinker...

Get a load of this guy, he is ex-Military, ex-CIA, ex-various PMCs including Murkywater. Logically, you'd expect him to be a dangerous guy, right? Well, if you don't manage to catch him, he runs off and locks himself in his little panic room full of guns, he talks shit to you from the safety of his panic room, and when you finally get in there, what does he do? Fucking nothing! He stands there like a complete, gutless pussy, surrounded by guns! The first time I saw this, I was thinking: "Well, motherfucker, aren't you gonna do anything? Weren't you kind of a big deal?" He just stands there, and if I hadn't known better, I'd say he almost shit himself...

You could say: "Well pal, the guns might not have been loaded" and I may give you that one, the magazines might have been empty, but why would they be though? Wasn't this his panic room for when shit hit the fan?

You could say: "He probably didn't have the key to open the damn thing to get to the guns"... Oh for fuck sake, I'd expect a guy like him, to always carry important things like that with him, especially him being a huge security nut. He didn't even grab a Goddamn chair to put up a fight and take a swing at you, or whatever the fuck, he also has two helmets in there, that are just cosmetics to him, it's complete horseshit.

Let's take a walk down the memory lane, and remind ourselves how it was handled with Hector:

Using the loud approach as an example, you get to the panic room, drill the panic room, you alerted Hector of your presence, he will be defending himself, because he knows you're not there to fuck around, he got ready in his little panic room, which was smaller than a Goddamn portable toilet compared to Mason's panic room, and waited for you with his weapon loaded, dressed in armor, now Mason didn't seem to have any armor in his panic room besides two helmets, which is just incredibly stupid to me not to have at least a bulletproof vest in a panic room...

Mason didn't even try to put up a fight, "ex-Military, ex-CIA, ex-various PMCs including Murkywater" my ass...

After we're done with Mason, kill him or not, it does not matter, it's not even specified what went down with him, he just vanished and was never heard from or spoken about again.

John Concord:

Skipping to Fear & Greed, the gang hits Concord's stocks and... call it a wrap? Huh? That's it? We ain't gonna get our revenge and kill him like we did with Hector, a guy who snitched on the gang and got Hoxton locked up, the gang put a cap in his ass for that stunt, so imagine what they would do to Concord, the guy that orchestrated the assassination attempts on the entire PAYDAY gang? The guy that was so close to killing Houston?

So we just let him off the hook? We gave him a bitch slap and that's it... what the fuck...

I expected the gang to find out where Concord is, obviously it wouldn't be easy, he is the main antagonist and the writing wants you to think, that he is a mastermind big shot, but they eventually find him, he has the protection of Treaty mercenaries, but eventually the gang gets to have their revenge, their pound of flesh, in a big story payoff heist, maybe even a cutscene where Wolf fucks up Concord with a drill or something, that's what I expected them to do, since the main reason for this chase, was because they were being hunted down by Concord and his stooges all over the world.

Let's wrap this up, the PAYDAY gang gave their every antagonist a bitch slap and called it a job well done in the end... They're not gonna kill anybody for some reason.

In PAYDAY 2, whoever fucked with the gang, got annihilated by the gang, that's how it goes, simple.

In PAYDAY 3, the PAYDAY gang lost their balls and they don't do revenge killing anymore... They were forced out of retirement and decided to get vengeance, but in the end, they didn't get their pound of flesh. Get outta here with that hokey shit, that's some Temu PAYDAY gang way of handling this.

I don't want to knock the writers hard and as fake as it may sound, I mean no offense, but what on God's green earth was that? It was the absolute shits and burial of the attitude, that the PAYDAY gang was widely known for. Now I'm no Tolkien, but I know and love PAYDAY, if I had the opportunity, I would gladly join the writing team and help them as best as I possibly can.

I have this thought, which I hope is not true, but If it's somehow confirmed, that the story was written with help of an AI or entirely by an AI, I will burst into fucking flames.

Bonus section for Pearl, because I feel her role has been lacking, especially for being an entirely new gang member, I think she needs her own "Pearl Revenge" heist to happen at some point and here's why:

Pearl's crew was betrayed and killed overnight and that's all we got in one cutscene, because Shade conveniently called before anything else was said about that, we could have gotten some more backstory out of Pearl.

It's alright though, the seeds have been planted. I just hope they do something with it at some point. I doubt Pearl is just gonna sit there and not give a damn about her entire crew being wiped out.

Also, she's in the PAYDAY gang now, and whoever fucks with the PAYDAY gang, immediately signs off their own death warrant.

Rant over, if you made it through the entire thing, I salute and thank you for enduring my wall of text.

Howdy, gamers. Payday 3’s updates have drawn me back to the game, but I’m facing a bit of a problem. I really want to get more options available to me for weapon attachments, but I don’t know the optimal grinding methods. Last I played was when you could do a little exploit on RtC stealth with drawing the guards away from the VIP area door by running in the office beside it, and I believe I heard that was patched out, as was the 99 Boxes exploit. I’d just like to know, what options are available for quick and easy grinding?
