My games are in my f drive/apps there were to other things here one is surrel64 and the other is reaper x, both appear on the dashboard but have different names though. How can I get my homebrew to appear on the dashboard

So I bought some OG Xbox games to play the other day but all of them stop playing after like 30-45 seconds. I noticed these circular lines on all of them. The console plays Xbox 360 games fine but none of the OG games I bought. It’s like a 16 year old white Xbox 360 so if it’s not laser burn then I’m guessing the laser is just failing. Just strange how it’ll play all my 360 games just fine. Anyone know why that might be? Are OG games harder for the 360 to read or something?

I'm trying to get it hooked up because I want to get back into speedrunning BLACK (I have a lot more storage space on my PC than my laptop). I know that the both the adapter and HDMI cable work, but when I try to run it, the picture never shows up on screen even when my PC's DP cable is disconnected. Do some monitors just not work with this kind of thing?

There's a local shop that has one for $250. I've seen nothing online about value, except some crazy dude selling one for 2k. I've thought about buying it twice now this week. Any reason not to? Are they super rare?

Hi all,

My original Xbox which has been in storage for 15 years will not boot. When plugging it in or pressing eject, the power light and fan turns on briefly but then turns off. I took a quick look at the power board and didn't see an obvious failures.

Any suggestions?

I'm having a hell of a time getting title updates and DLC to work for multiple games I have on the hard drive! To keep things simple I'm going to assume this is some stupid small thing I'm overlooking and it will help fix all of the games, but I'm only going to use Rallisport Challenge 2 as a example.

Ok, to start with, the Xbox is hard modded with a XeniumICE, running PrometheOS, booting into Cerbios and using XBMC4G as the dashboard.

First things first, if I use the built in XBLA title updater and DLC downloader via Insignia, that will actually work... Only for that session. Upon booting up the game again, well, it doesn't even get that far, trying to launch the game just crashes and I have to turn off the system to get back to XBMC4G. So maybe something is wrong with the XBLA installer, so I go in to the file manager, delete the games TDATA folder so the game will actually launch, and I download the title update and DLC from XBMC4G's built in URLDownloader, the game boots up, and when I try to connect to XBL the game still tells me that I need to install an update and I can't connect online or download any content.

The final thing I tried is downloading the Offline Xbox Live DLC Installer from Digiex and FTPing the installer over, and of course running it. After doing that I get the same results as using URLDownloader, the game just refuses to recognize the title update and DLC.

I'm honestly at a complete loss here I have no idea what's left to do. I'm still very new to the Xbox soft and hard modding scene so this could be such a simple issue and I just have no idea what I'm doing. Sorry about the small novel.

Is there any way to play discs games from the menu instead of having to reboot the system to auto launch the game? I'm using unleashed x, this machine was bought off eBay so I know nothing about Xbox modding

The button on front actually works and it plays the startup sound🙏

so i wanted to get the DLCS and title update for star wars BF1 in order to play online but the download content tab is just...missing ? we told me it might be parental control but i have one of the european OG xbox that doesnt has parental control settings, so what do i do ? am i screwed ?

I recently purchased a soft modded original Xbox. It seemed to be modded with unleashX. I tried to rename some folders through ftp as they were in French and I don’t speak with. Long story short, I deleted some files and now the console only reads games but I can’t reach the dashboard no matter what I try. I’ve tried the following:

TruHeXen2021 burned onto a DVD-RW disc Rocky5 extras iso burned onto a DVD-RW disc Rocky5 on a 512 mb usb with the adapter

And no luck on any of those.

Again the games play with no issue. But when I try to just turn on the Xbox and reach the dashboard I get the message in the picture with no error

Any ideas?

Xblast refuses to do the flash for the cerbios.bin file on the C drive hitting the button combination backs out normally. I made sure to make the alternate bridge points for a 1.4 but still no luck. I've successfully flashed at least 10 xbox consoles but this leads me to believe there might be another issue or damage on the motherboard because my bridge points had continuity (I do make my wires excessively wrong but it's never caused an issue). If this doesn't work I will do a modchip instead.

So I'm just waiting on a few parts to arrive, namely the custom pink / white ring of light and pink controller ports and some paracording to do to the PSU, but apart from that, this Xmas / 21st birthday present for a US customers daughter is done.

So I bought an OG Xbox off eBay a few months ago, and have been using it quite frequently. but for some reason today when I booted it up it just would not read any disc that I put in. so I figured id restart it and see if that that fixed it and it did it was able to read discs again, but for some reason its o only for the first few minuets that the console is booted up if I wait too long it wont read any discs again and I have to restart it. which isn't too big of a deal but I'm worried it may be a larger issue with the console i.e. the capacitors or something with the laser. I have a 2004 model which I read is less prone to the capacitors leaking but I'm not sure, any help would be appreciated

I clicked on download and when I pressed yes to install it, it just stays at the download screen. The download bar doesn’t pop up. How would I fix this?
