So got matched up with Gunny in a ranked slayer match yesterday. He was coaching mini berserker and hardly trying(hence the 13 assists) and was more coaching the kid who I will say is a beast at 14 yrs old or whatever. Better than me, hell I suck suck ass I can’t even go positive with gunny on my team in a slayer diamond match. Matched with them on a few more and Gunny just decided to go off and shit on everyone. Anyways he seems like an amazing coach and hearing him try and help this kid be better all game was pretty cool
Anybody watching this live stream of the forgehub tournament on YouTube?
Some of these maps need to be in ranked playlist. Remnant ball looks fun af. Didn’t see all the maps but they seem way more fun than what got added to the playlist. The repetitiveness of current maps is the only thing I hate really.
So I’ve been out of gaming a while, had to take a few years out to do the whole adulting thing. Finally at a point in time where I should have some recreational time and I’ve got the gaming itch bad! I’m a cod kid through and through and through(comp/ranked scene) but due to the current state of COD games I also love halo, played a little infinite and watch a lot of tourneys. The plan is to get and Xbox and start grinding some halo. Thoughts? What’s the scene like at the moment?
I have a pretty beefy PC but genuinely much more enjoy sitting on my recliner and playing on my TV (designed for gaming). I've noticed a heavy difference on my series S at 120fps vs my PC. On PC, my accuracy usually is around 55-64% and on console it is 45-56%.
Curious, is this console vs PC experience this noticeable on MCC as well?
Haven't really been into gaming or halo for about a year now. I've been back at it for a couple of weeks and as much as I don't feel like sitting at my desk, I'm tired of sacrificing upwards of 20% accuracy because of the hardware differences. I'd like to maybe try MCC but curious of everyone else's experience.
Just won my past 3 games and I’m getting this each time no CSR difference no result nothing every game has went to the end and I’m not sure why this is happening anyone have any idea?
I know how to do a clean install so i don't want any tips , i have all the appropriate settings and my rig is beefy 4090 13900k. i crash on startup 3-4 times before my game boots, i crash during matches and after matches. dont give me tips ive literally done everything you can do only answers i want are what nvidia drivers are you using. put the driver and date if you can. thanks.
While loading into the game I’ll get high quality audio, as in it sounds like full surround stereo audio. Once I load into the server (notification at the top right) I immediately go to single channel audio without any directionality. This is true of any Bluetooth headset that I use. Anyone else have this issue? I’ve done all the troubleshooting steps I have seen on this thread to no avail.
I recently found my sensitivity and I'm doing really good with it and hitting better shots, but I've outright noticed at times the game seems to resist me at points in gunfights
Sometimes ill be in a gun fight and ill feel the game pushing my right stick back in the opposite direction, I've even caught it doing it when my thumb wont be on the RS at all.
It's not the controller, I literally just bought a whole new one today.
What gives is this just lag or am I headcasing on this?
Just got a new modem and router with the spectrum gig package. My PC is the only thing on the network. Can I change/fix anything on my end or is it just Halo Infinite?
when you are winning and all of a sudden someone drops out mid-game, you feel the pain lol. But, it's nice to find comfort in a snipe before accepting defeat lol.
Just a fun little clip, these are Plat 5 lobbies, so nothing to boast about. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
I'm already bored playing infinite with so many repeated maps without variations, with absurd errors and with smurf players who all they do is ruin the experience, luckily in this year 4 where this game will remain dead and they never fix things as basic as these
The Halo Championship Series (HCS) had brought them together, though not in a way anyone could have predicted. Sparty McFly and RyaNoob—both competitive veterans, both notorious for their unique styles and approaches to the game. On the surface, they were rivals. But beneath the surface, their connection was undeniable.
Chapter 1: A Chance Encounter
It was the night before the Arlington Major, and the air was charged with tension. Players from every corner of the Halo world were gathered in the hotel lobby, catching up, analyzing strategies, or simply decompressing. Sparty sat in a corner booth, nursing a bottle of water, his headset hanging around his neck. His fiery plays on the battlefield often painted him as an extrovert, but in moments like these, he preferred to keep to himself.
That’s when RyaNoob walked in, his laptop tucked under one arm. He had that familiar glint in his eye—the one that said he was working on something wild. The kind of strategy that made him both feared and respected.
“Let me guess,” Sparty called out as RyaNoob passed by. “You’ve figured out a new way to turn Oddball into a chess match?”
RyaNoob stopped, his lips curling into a sly grin. “Maybe. Or maybe I’m just here for the free Wi-Fi.”
Sparty chuckled, gesturing to the seat across from him. “Sit down. Let me see what you’ve got cooking.”
To his surprise, RyaNoob did. What started as a casual conversation about map rotations quickly spiraled into a deeper exchange. They talked about their journeys through Halo, their frustrations with the meta, and their dreams beyond the game. Sparty found himself captivated—not just by RyaNoob’s mind, but by the passion behind every word he spoke.
Chapter 2: A Growing Bond
Over the next few weeks, they found themselves gravitating toward each other. Scrims turned into long post-game discussions. Friendly banter over Twitter DMs evolved into late-night Discord calls.
Sparty admired how RyaNoob saw the game differently, with a cerebral approach that defied convention. RyaNoob, in turn, was drawn to Sparty’s raw energy and ability to turn any moment into a highlight reel. They were opposites in many ways, but they balanced each other perfectly.
One night, after a particularly grueling series, Sparty sent RyaNoob a message:
“Drinks in the lobby? First round’s on me.”
RyaNoob replied almost instantly:
“Only if you promise not to complain about broken spawns again.”
They laughed over beers, the competition between them fading into the background. For the first time, Sparty felt like he could let his guard down.
Chapter 3: The Turning Point
It was the grand finals of the Fort Worth Major, and their teams were set to face off. The stadium was electric, fans cheering wildly as the players took the stage. Sparty locked eyes with RyaNoob from across the room.
“Good luck out there,” RyaNoob said as they shook hands at the start of the match.
“You too,” Sparty replied, his voice softer than usual.
The series was brutal, going all the way to a Game 7 Slayer. Every kill mattered, every movement calculated. In the final moments, it was RyaNoob’s unorthodox strategy that secured the win for his team. Sparty’s squad had lost, but as he looked across the stage, he couldn’t help but smile.
Later that night, while everyone else celebrated or licked their wounds, Sparty found RyaNoob on the rooftop of the hotel, staring out at the city lights.
“Came to gloat?” Sparty teased, leaning against the railing.
RyaNoob shook his head, a rare vulnerability in his expression. “No. Just... needed some air.”
They stood in silence for a moment, the cool breeze carrying away the tension of the day.
“I’ve been thinking,” Sparty began, his voice hesitant. “Maybe we’re better as teammates than rivals.”
RyaNoob turned to him, his smile returning. “Are you saying you want to team up, or is this your way of asking me out?”
Sparty laughed, his cheeks flushing. “Maybe both.”
RyaNoob stepped closer, his confidence returning. “You’d better not choke in either role, then.”
Chapter 4: A New Chapter
From that moment, Sparty and RyaNoob became more than competitors—they became partners, both in and out of the game. Their chemistry on the battlefield was unmatched, but it was their bond off the stage that truly made them unstoppable.
The Halo community buzzed with speculation about their connection, but they didn’t mind. For Sparty and RyaNoob, it was about more than winning. It was about finding someone who saw the world—and the game—the way they did.
And together, they were ready to take on whatever came next.
Chapter 5: Late Nights and Strategy Calls
Their late-night Discord calls became a routine. At first, they’d talk about Halo—counter-strategies, player movements, and map exploitation. But as the hours stretched on, the conversations became more personal.
One evening, Sparty, sprawled out on his couch, asked, “So, what’s the deal with your strats? Do you just wake up one day and decide, ‘Let’s blow everyone’s minds?’”
RyaNoob’s laughter crackled through the headset. “Something like that. It’s about seeing the game differently, you know? Everyone plays checkers; I play chess.”
“Yeah, but do you ever just... chill? Stop plotting five moves ahead and enjoy the game?” Sparty countered.
There was a pause on the line. “You think I don’t enjoy it?”
“No, I think you love it. But maybe you’re so busy trying to outthink everyone that you forget why you started playing in the first place.”
RyaNoob’s voice softened. “Maybe. Why do you play, Sparty?”
Sparty thought for a moment. “It’s the rush. Those moments where it’s just you, your instincts, and the game. When the whole world fades, and all that matters is what’s in front of you.”
“Instincts,” RyaNoob mused. “I could use more of that.”
“And I could use some of your brains. See? We’d make the perfect duo,” Sparty joked.
RyaNoob chuckled, but the comment lingered in his mind.
I’m posting this here because the halo infinite page won’t let me post with not enough karma.
I have a 1080ti, 19-12900k and 32gb of ram. l've always put resolution all the way down and every setting at its minimum. The game was running fine for a long time. I went and changed 3 things:
I also changed the color of the enemy and team as well as the rifle offset.
My game started crashing. In the middle of the match it will freeze for 3 seconds and then crash. I changed the 3 things above back to what they were but the game still crashes almost every game I play. I also reinstalled the game and didn’t crash for like 10 matches and then just crashed again. I’ve had issues with crashes in other games but am able to fix it when changing the settings around. Any ideas what might be going on?
What’s the more popular lobby ranked slayer or arena? I used to play halo 3 rank back in the day and I got to Platinum rank in infinite but it feels like it takes awhile to find people unless it’s the weekend
Is it harder to climb through the ranks since reset or am I just washed up? Typically hover d5ish but struggling to break through d3 currently. Feels like either everyone got significantly better or I got significantly worse Struggling to land my shots a bit now but don’t want to headcase my settings, I’ll just keep grinding.
Does anyone know when the next update will be that brings back midship
Bro, you don’t understand. Lucid and Stellur didn’t just beat FormaL—they ascended. This wasn’t a match, it was a reckoning. FormaL thought he could just stroll into Halo, flex his 5-shot, and everyone would bow down? Nah, not on Lucid and Stellur’s watch. These guys have been grinding since the sandbox. When FormaL spawned top mid thinking he was slick, Lucid read him like a $2 gas station novel and sent him back to spawn before he could blink.
Stellur? Oh, don’t even get me started. The guy was on demon time. He was practically playing 5D chess while FormaL was out here trying to figure out if the Bandit still had a zoom button. It was like watching a lion toy with a gazelle. Every time FormaL peeked, Stellur was there like, ‘Oh, you’re here? Cute.’
And don’t even try to say it was a fluke. Lucid and Stellur were running strats so tight it felt like they had telepathy. Meanwhile, FormaL’s comms were probably just him yelling, ‘WHAT IS HAPPENING?’ as he got bodied again. The best part? They didn’t even look hyped after the game. Just cold, calculated killers. Like, ‘Yeah, we planned this.’
So yeah, call it revenge, a beatdown, or just pure domination—but don’t act like FormaL didn’t get humbled by the duo that’s redefining Halo greatness. Lucid and Stellur, baby. The kings have spoken.
I’ve been playing with a friend at night and we are constantly playing vs the 4 stacks as a two man.
Anyone D1-3 interested in playing some arena tonight with us? We use comms and discord.
Playing at 9:30est tonight.
Leave your tag or message me if you are interested. My IGN is BossStatus, but has some random numbers. I can add you tonight.
This guy is really good. I know what really matters is how good of a team player you are at the top to compete but I think he can do it.
I have map layouts of Live fire, recharge, streets and Aquarius but I can't find any of the others. I've used map genie and some other places but can't seem to find the others, any help is appreciated.
