This is, for me, a normal coin but I noticed there is an outline on the right that isn't on the left. Is it making it rare ?

This is a video where a rather mean spirited conspiracy type tries to pay a bridge toll with what appears to be some very non-standard coins. I'm guessing that they might be pre-decimal currency, but it occurred to me that it might also be decimal commemorative coins.
You can't see the coin clearly because it's in a blue plastic bag, but you can just about make out some of the surface details. Is it possible that the bigger coins are 1980s 25p commemorative Crowns?
My understanding is that while commemorative coins are indeed legal tender, businesses are not obliged to accept them, is that right?
I work for a small independent publishing house. We are putting the finishing touches on the new edition of our book Coin Collecting for Beginners.
We are distributing free digital copies to gather initial feedback. It would be great if you could spare some of your time to read our book and let me know what you think. Those interested in helping us can send me a message.
I've blogged about the Scarface Morgan Dollar Variety, but recently I got to examine a 1902 Morgan Dollar with a clashed die error, and another 1878 Morgan Dollar DDO, DDR, with 8TF. Do you get excited when you look closer and find rarities by examining your coins?

I was wondering if someone could help me with the background on some of these notes. All should be WWII era. I know the middle column is Japanese invasion money from the Philippines, and the three on the right are from Allied occupation of Japan, but the three on the left are eluding me for now.
Central bank of Ireland £5 note (picture pulled from google). Is there gold value here? What would be a good estimate on price? Asking for a college.
Hello there! I found these in my grandma's stuff and they were put aside neatly a long time ago. I do not know what to do with them. I was going to spend them just be be eccentric or give them to my nieces. Any insights?
This was purchased for $55.00 USD was it a fair deal ?
Hello everyone, I own around 370 Lindauer coins, most of them are 25cts, and I saw somewhere that some have stars or are underscored and are very valuable. Does anyone know anything about these and could help me spot the valuable coins ? Thanks in advance
Hi guys, does anyone know what this is?
My grandfather left us an old 10000 yen bill that i believe was discontinued in the 80s. I dont know the exact age of the bill, but does anyone know if this could be worth anything to anyone?
Sorry if this isn’t the right subreddit for this question.
