I'm looking to sell a few hundred oz of silver but don't want to deal with the initial process of selling on pmsforsale. Does anyone have a favorite coin/PM shop around here? San Jose to San Francisco.
So I know I’ve said this before but I’m new to silver. And I was wanting some advice about it. Like best places to look, what to watch out for, what to stack and so on. If you guys would like to tell me some stuff I’d love to hear it.
~100ozt Total Silver Content. Majority of it is in sub 1ozt pieces.
found some knives at a thrift shop, saw the hallmarks, but I know that does not mean anything unless you can read them properly I have found a lot of plate stuff with hallmarks before
can anyone tell me what these mean?
How long have you been stacking and how often do you buy? What amount of weight/value do you hold? I just realized I’m about $21k in gold but I’m only $3500 in silver. I’m trying to add more silver. I recently also just added (20) 1 oz APMEX bars to my pile. When I was logging these into my notebook, I realized these bars don’t have serial numbers as my other pieces do. Is that a problem long term? I don’t want to stack unserialized metals if it’s going to rice me an issue later on in life. Even though I’m off to a decent start, I’m super new to all this. Why would an American eagle hold more premium when the same silver in bar form is cheaper. Why do so many people like certain rounds/coins when bars are typically less premium? If this is more of trying to build a stacking pile, aren’t you slightly cutting yourself short?
Are these worth buying with the premium?
Been eyeing these "Chunky" loafs from Scottsdale for some time now. Finally pulled the trigger!
Does anybody have a link of all the gold/silver at spot deals for new buyers on the big bullion websites? I recall seeing one for a 1/4 oz eagle at spot but cannot find it online now. Thanks!
New favorite pocket round. Hawaiian state quarter retired die.
I am super new to the silver stacking and I have run across this on facebook. I am having trouble finding comps on line. I like the look, but not sure if it has any value besides melt.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
I work at a credit union and had a member come in late just to deposit a roll of dimes. After they left I opened the roll like I always do on deposits. Inside I found 35 Pre 64’ Roosevelts as well as a 36’ Mercury. I have worked hear for almost a year now and these are the first pieces of silver I’ve found!
What I received this week to add to my collection.
