It was my dad's motorcycle. The vehicle was parked on driveway and was uninsured/unlicensed as of the loss.
Found a credit card on Mowat st. Message me the name on it and I'll get it back to you.
Good Morning to our favorite Lower Mainland Subreddit! My wife and I are currently in the process of relocating from Burnaby (where we rent) to purchasing our first property in New West. We’ve become big fans of the charm and smaller town feel New West offers, and really like how it seems to be an ideal place for new young families.
We recently found a property in Victoria Hill that we’re excited about, and we really like the quiet, cozy walkable layout of the master planned community there. We’re dog owners as well so being able to walk our fuzzball in the neighborhood and over to Queen’s Park is very appealing.
This brings us to our one big concern: the builders for that entire community is Onni, which has a pretty terrible reputation as home builders in the Lower Mainland. We’ve actually been surprised that we haven’t really heard any negative feedback on these builds from anyone living in Victoria Hill; the vast majority of other Reddit threads we’ve found have all been overwhelmingly positive when it comes to living there.
If anyone has experience living in Victoria Hill or knows anyone that has lived there and heard about their experiences, we would be incredibly grateful for your feedback and thoughts. Thank you so much in advance, we’re very much looking forward to becoming part of your community :)
Hello,
This isn't exactly asking for medical advice, I just wanted to ask the community if anyone knows if RCH ED can help me....
Long story short, almost 2 years now since I've had an infected ingrown toenail. It has been on and off, I was prescribed Fucidin to apply, it worked but kept coming back over the years.
It is on BOTH my feet, left and right's big toes toenail......past couple of months it has gotten worse. I was told eventually by the walk in doc that I need surgery to remove the toenail. I have to go see a podiatrist and pay out of pocket for the removal which hasn't been possible for me.
I survived the past summer by wearing slippers outside everywhere so the toe had relief. However, recently I've been on my feet working for more than 8 hours a day, wearing socks with sneakers.
It has gotten extremely bad to the point I'm in excorticating pain at work, I can barley walk, and I'm limping. Literally am limping. I come home and can't even take off my socks without it sticking onto the wound.
I have so much swelling, blood, and pus bursting out. I've been limping everywhere, at home, at work, when taking transit, it is VERY, VERY PAINFUL.
It hurts when I shower and the water hits it, it even hurts when I put a blanket over me, the tiniest, lightest touch kills me. I'm so worried about how I will work my next shift, I can't loose this new job I got, but my toenail is affecting my mobility so much. I know if I wear closed toe shoes again and am on my feet for more than 8 hours, the infection will worsen.
I went to urgent care yesterday and the nurse triaged me and said they won't be able to help me because they don't do toenail removal and said the doctor can't do referral either and sent me away.......
I do not have extended health benefits, I called around to podiatrist and they quoted me at least $400 per toenail, there is no way I can afford this right now.
I'm surprised that the infection hasn't spread, I've heard you can get sepsis.
I'm sitting here and both toenails are throbbing in pain, all night I laid away with pain, I can't even walk without pain wearing slippers now too.....
I'm surprised MSP won't cover this when it is an essential procedure that needs to be done since it's affecting my mobility even.
The urgent care nurse and front people said they are very surprised that MSP won't cover it/the walk in doctor said it won't be covered since it's not like this is a cosmetic procedure/unnecessary/non urgent.
I attached some photos of the infected toenail for reference. Please be careful when opening it because it can be disturbing I guess.....
I don't want to go to the ER and take up space or even waste my own time......but I really just need a doctor to rip this toenail off. I'm in so much pain. It is literally on TWO of my toenails and I'm in a lot of pain and I TRULY cannot walk without LIMPING.
Should I go to the ER and ask for help?
Hey all, I just lost my keys this morning, there were 4 keys and a mini compass card attached to it. Please help me find it. If anyone comes across please let me know. I'm really stressed 6 because my building manager says it's a threat and we will get a new lock which will cost us around 1000 bucks. Thank you 😭😭

I have found the winter tires I want and right price point. But - they do not have tire storage for my all seasons.
Anyone know where I can store them for a reasonable cost?
I am not using KAL for the purchase so I don’t think they are an option.
Help!
New West Station/Columbia I pass around 7am and was wondering if there's an available washroom near the skytrain. It's early so I know that's what makes it tricky. But just curious because for those of us with long transit commutes I want to plan for emergencies! Thank u!
Photo taken from Queensborough bridge! Does anyone knows why they look like this?
Anny’s is now closed for the winter, but don’t worry, she’ll be back in early 2025! So if you’ve got a hankering for a steamie and a poutine, you’ll just have to be patient.
I have an older Dyson in need of repair, and the nearest service centre is in Calgary. Does anyone have a recommendation for a local vacuum cleaner repair shop? There is Columbia Vacuum near IHOP uptown, but their lack of reviews does not inspire confidence.
Remember how before the pandemic you could get frozen commodity burritos everywhere and then they disappeared?
Well I got a sack of meat and bean at Willingdon Costco today, El Montery, AND some off-brand Jalapeno Poppers.
Screw the new normal!
But seriously, surprised to see they are made in the States, I assumed the frozen supply line shipping would never make financial sense again.
Hey all,
On my final month with Shaw, and GETUS is a service that hits my building, anyone ever use it?
I'm thinking of switching to it.
