Why can't there be moose games on broadcast tv

I got the Moose e-mail pitch for AHL TV playoff packages. That's great, but after paying for TSN and SN, I don't really want to add a bill for AHL TV to the mix, not to mention the sheer inconvenience of streaming AHL TV compared to just flipping it to a cable TV channel.

I don't get it, it's not like AHL games aren't televised, there's a whole pile of them in other places - https://theahl.com/tv-schedule

Why can't the Moose ever get games on broadcast TV? Feels like that hasn't been a thing since the days of Steve Vogelsang and CKY Sports in the 90s. You would think there's enough fans in Manitoba to make something like that viable, but apparently not. It sucks.
