The metal tip of my brand new p205 wont come off, it seems to be screwed on very tight from the factory or something because it wont move at all. It's like someone glued the tip on. Any tips on how to loosen it?
Mood indicator instead of lead hardness indicator is fun.
I used the Graphgear 500 for three years, but I didn't like the way the graphite was sometimes thin and sometimes thick, so I bought a KuruToga and I adapted surprisingly quickly, I'm loving it.
I feel gud
jk—I filed it down with a cheap nail file—but i like it :)
0.5 is perfect for any detail and to me the tiny eraser is great for small mistakes or adding highlights
Back in school with math proofs to do that are best done in pencil, quickly got tired of mediocre pencils that broke lead nonstop (definitely isn't my heavy hand) and wasted 1/4 of every piece of lead.
These are my first decent mechanical pencils I've ever bought. First round of trials is a Pentel Graphgear 1000, Kuru Toga Advance Upgrade, and a Pentel Orenz AT all in 0.5. Tombow Monograph on the way.
Alright, so like, the Bic Break-Resistant Mechanical Pencil is, like, totally amazing, dude. First off, it's, like, super strong. You know how regular pencils just, like, snap when you press too hard or drop them? But this one? It's like the Superman of pencils, man. You can, like, drop it, squeeze it, and it won't break. This is, like, super cool 'cause you don't gotta worry about it breaking in the middle of a test or something.
And, like, writing with it is, like, so smooth. The lead just, like, glides across the paper, making everything look, like, super neat and clean. It's perfect for, like, taking notes, doing homework, or just, like, doodling when you're bored. Plus, it doesn't make your hand, like, tired, so you can write for, like, forever without your hand feeling like it's gonna fall off.
Oh, and the eraser, dude. It's, like, magic. It doesn't smudge or tear the paper when you make a mistake. This is, like, a big deal 'cause no one wants their paper to look, like, all messy with smudges and stuff. Plus, the pencil is, like, pretty cheap and easy to find, so you can always get one when you need it.
So, in conclusion, man, the Bic Break-Resistant Mechanical Pencil is, like, the best. It's strong, writes super smooth, and has a rad eraser. It's everything you need in a pencil, making it, like, perfect for school. So, if you haven't tried one yet, you totally should its amazing.
GRAPHGEAR 500. Nothing special, but does a good job. What’s your favorite?
The ohto MS01 might turn into one of my top three
This is my 1st Orenz + 1st 0.2 mechanical pencil and all of a sudden after quite a quick, small sketch (about 15-20 mins of use tops), it seemed to stop working and became unusable (as shown on the video posted).
At 1st I became pretty worried it had broken or I had gotten a defective one. Then after some searching on the web I mustered the courage to take it apart and see what was up, having read they sometimes become clogged. After cleaning the sleeve and the clutch, tada, it seems to be working properly again… However, now I am left wondering how often does that normally/usually occur, for it to get clogged like that and become unusable until you disassemble and clean it??
Could some of you with more experience regarding 0.2 and/or Orenz mechanical pencils share your experiences, two cents, suggestions and advice please on how to avoid or fix this issue? 🙏🏼😋
Thank you very much in advance.
Has anyone found .9 in 4B (other than June Gold, which is poor quality)? I have not, though I try…
Hey guys, I've been using my Faber Castell Tk-fine vario for a while, and the metallic part started to get rusty, I guess. Has anyone had this issue before? If so, how can I fix it? I need your help!
