I’ve got a big collection of iwako erasers but the ocean/aquatic animas are my favs! Here’s the ones I have:
My family thinks so because I’m 29 and I kept on spending all my money on erasers because it’s cute.
I got them from a store in the mall called Ebisu! I'm shocked at how clear the bottom one is.
Hello, I collect vintage office/artist/drafting type erasers (as in not novelty) with neat fonts. I’m wondering if anyone’s had any luck cleaning up older ones like this WITHOUT removing the type. I’m thinking of trying wet wipes or maybe even a “magic eraser” on a duplicate that’s not too precious, but wanted to check to see if anyone’s had any luck with this themselves. What, if anything, worked for you?
Picked this big boy as my prize after playing at the Great Wolf Lodge arcade.
I originally thought it was for the 0.5 mono graph I had, but this eraser is much thicker.
This is a one time use eraser! And it does exist!
I am living in Europe and searching an online store to buy Tombow Mono One, Tombow stick, Tombow Mono Knock erasers and refills. Usually if I find good deals, I buy via Amazon.de but most of the time it’s pretty expensive. Also I am searching for Sakura erasers which I bought via Amazon before. If I order from Japan or USA jetpens then the import fees and administrative fees are high rocketed. Do you have any suggestions where to order? Thanks:)
i literally bought this yesterday but accidentally dropped it and it came off :( ive been trying for past few hours to fix it but its literally not working.
Jetpens has a great article devoted to the best erasers based on their use: https://www.jetpens.com/blog/The-Best-Erasers/pt/597
They also illustrate extensive test results comparing a wide variety of erasers showing how well they do on HB graphite, 4B graphite, 'crumbs' created and colored pencil:

I'm a dark B pencil addict and I used it as a basis for creating my own collection of erasers to test for the best job on 6B-10B graphite pencils from various pencil brands and also dark non reflective high B pencils which seem to behave more like colored pencils. They have a similar article on pencil sharpeners and illustrate points created by each. Their info has been a treasure trove of information for me and I recommend checking it out for anyone into pencils and their erasers and sharpeners.
I’ve followed this community for a a bit, but it’s my first time posting anything lol
I love the Sumo Grip so much, my favorite eraser had been the retractable Sumo Grip.
Problem is, I somehow lost it. Honestly surprised it stayed with me so long given my line of work (I’m an educational assistant at an elementary school). I’m positive I still have it it’s just in the sea of mess in my room, but I haven’t gotten around to really cleaning.
In the meantime, I really needed an eraser so, I got this cute paw holder (it had a different eraser inside) from AliExpress thinking it could fit my left over Sumo Grip sticks. I did have to cut it in the end (and I may have cut off a little too much, so there’s a chance it will break if I erase with too much of it sticking out) so it would fit.
The other mod I made was using a retractable Staedler eraser case, but instead of the usual eraser, I changed it out for a black Arch eraser. I did have to cut off a bit of the end to give it a bit of thickness to have a better grip on the slider. But outside of that, this is a dream of an eraser and probably will be a decent replacement for my retractable Sumo Grip!
Which by the way, if anyone is selling one, please by all means, let me know. I really loved that eraser, it’s too bad they discontinued it…
I guess you could say this was more of an idea/hack more so than a mod lol, anyways! Thank you for your attention for anyone who bothered reading.
I love using H in my mechanical pencils because it’s the perfect balance. What’s a good eraser for it?
The Sakura Sumo Grip eraser is the #1 bestselling eraser product on Jetpens, and it seems to me it's also ranked as the best one in the JetPens eraser guides. I do wish to buy one, but I want to know how good it is, and if it's different from other Sakura products such as the High Quality FOAM or Arch Foam. Thank you.
For context, I am a student who wants a good eraser with no scuff marks.
If thought if anyone could help it would be someone on here.
Nicked it off my brother 14 years ago and it’s incredible. Gets rid of anything, just makes a few big bits of rubbings rather than loads of little bits and lasts forever.
It’s finally getting to the end of its life and I want to buy another one, anyone know what it is?
