Established in the early 1980s and launched in 1989, the Lexus marque soon became associated with quality, luxury and superior customer satisfaction. The brand reputation grew quickly until, barely a dozen years after its founding, Lexus became America's best-selling line of luxury motor vehicles.

Hi everyone,
Just wondering if this used car from a Lexus dealer is a good deal?
Used 2020 Lexus RX 350 premium package for $43,900 CAD before taxes.
The car has 53,000 km on it.
This would also be my first time buying a used car, so not sure if there are other things I should be looking out for.
I have a 2021 UX250h, but will not be using during the winter. So, I'm planning on getting a trickle charger, as the last time I left my vehicle like this, the battery died. My friend at work told me I should Install it on the 12V battery under the trunk for hybrid, but he is not 100% sure and I have no experience on using trickle charger. Will this keep my vehicle charge when not in use? Thank you
Hi guys, I'm heavily considering getting an ISF after I finish school (May 2025). I currently daily a '99 5 speed Honda CRV and drive a 1992 SC400 when the weather's nice. As much as I love my SC, I always consider selling it from time to time. If I were to get an ISF I'd most likely sell my SC. I'm just not sure. What would you guys do?
I imagine that this might be a long shot but thought I’d give it a try. Looking for a Lexus tech who has experience with UCF20/1UZ drivetrain and can help me diagnose an intermittent vibration. The vibration is most noticeable during park and there is no idle surge/change in RPM. If I bring up the rpm’s while in park the vibration stays intermittent at the same intervals but gets much stronger and shakes the whole car. Something as simple as motor mounts or am I doomed to replace the motor? Car just broke 200k and has been well maintained by Lexus for most of its life. Recent maintenance includes timing belt, water pump, valve gaskets. No misfire, no cel, smells like it may be running a little rich but passed smog 3 months ago with good numbers so I’m kind of stuck. I have a Lexus specialist close by but didn’t want to bother him with a non-issue. Any advice is welcome!
They're somewhat inexplicably running a Black Friday sale that ends today (a Thursday... in October) and I was thinking about getting a full kit for an IS500.
For any NIA body kit owners:
How has yours held up? Any complaints?
Anything worth knowing?
They're running a 16% off sale right now, is this the cheapest it'll get or do they occasionally run even better sales?
2013 Lexus GS350 F-Sport:
This car has been my favorite Lexus I have ever owned.
So much faster, especially since adding the N/A camshafts & retarding the timing perfectly I eat Beamers for breakfast. I almost went supercharged route but my car overtakes most everything around here as it is.
These are to me the roomiest, fastest, and best handling Lexus to ever be manufactured is the GS platform (post 2013+). I saved a ton from salvage yards of barely used parts and doing it myself (installs)

Hi everyone,
I am looking for OEM shocks for my RC350. I live in Canada and I was wondering if anyone has experience using https://www.lexuspartsdirect.ca/
I cant find much info on them and I have tried calling but never get an answer.
I have read on clublexus forums that this site is legit and supplies OEM parts.
we come from fwd venza and the 6AT in it from camry is a known problematic box (bad software that can lead to also failing trans)
since it's the same platform as 3rd gen RX, does AWD RX use the exact same trans and tune? I am reading people with issues in 3rd gen
is that all resolved in the F-sport and 4th gen with 8AT?
I’m in the market for a newer (but still used) NX, RX, RAV4 or Highlander. Hot take.. but after several different test drives I’m not entirely sure the Lexus variants of each platform have enough added luxury/value to warrant the additional cost. Are they nicer? Yes, but to be honest I was expecting more out of the NX/RX, we might just stick with Toyota. I’m curious what others thoughts are?
Hi Everyone,
Bought a Lexus UX 2025 back in July and always owned older cars so forgive me if this is a normal behaviour with newer vehicles.
My car is hybrid and where I live it gets pretty cold down to -35C (-31F) and occasionally colder. It hasn’t gotten that cold yet, currently around 0C (32F). I noticed when I blast the heater in the cabin the engine revs and when I turn off climate it stops. This only happens the first few minutes of my drive.
Is that normal or should I be concerned and take it to the dealership? I am now a little stressed blasting the heat.
I am from toronto ontario, currently on the lookout for a 2021 or 2022 Lexus is 300 or 350 f sport (red interior). If anyone can please point me in the direction to get a good deal or anyone who works at a dealership in Ontario who can point me in the right direction.
As the title suggests I need help cleaning the trackpad in the center of my RC the one that looks like a mousepad of a laptop. I spilled some soda on it and it’s been sticky ever since I’ve tried isopropyl alcohol and cleaners but they were all temp fixes. I can’t seem to find any vids or any tutorials on how to remove and clean them.
I have no clue why but my windshield has a haze on it inside that came out of nowhere! I’ve tried a couple products with minimal success. I’m thinking I might need to replace it! Any suggestions??? Btw car is es350, 2014 but stellar condition, windshield aside.
I am considering an is300h but I'm worried about the battery of these particular 2013 model year because of the age and most of these cars would be out of warranty by now. Should I just go for an is250 so I don't have to cough out an extra 5k if the hybrid battery suddenly fails.
hi all, bought a TX550 back in February and when i adjust the driver seat sliding forward and back, it makes a single loud click when it reaches a certain point. then after I back forward it will click when it reaches that again. Should I take it to the dealer to look at? Any thoughts ?
second question, in the third row on the ceiling there is a little square thing that almost looks like a tiny speaker or something dead center of the ceiling in the third row. does anyone know what that is?
We were recently trying to replace the battery for my car. It's a 2020 Lexus RX 350h and after realizing the new battery wouldn't work, we put the old battery back in. Now the liftgate will not close no matter what we do. Every time we press the liftgate button on the key or in the car, it beeps twice and both blinkers flash twice and that's it. The close button won't work and the lock button doesn't work. Any way to fix this?
Hi all,
New member of the Lexus family. I am planning to buy floor liners for my 3035 ES 300h as it is $40 off at Costco right now. It is the 3D MAXpiderMat Floor Liner. When I choose the model year of my car, it only goes up to 2024. My question is: does anyone know if the interior is the same between the 2 model years? I know generally there is not much changes from one year to another, but I just want to make sure before I buy the floor liner.
I can spend between 12-15 k on a used Lexus. I heard a podcast where a master mechanic stated that Toyota and Lexus had a decline in quality starting in the mid 2000s until about 2012 2013 so what would you recommend an older model or one later than 2012
So I am a Lexus tech and so I do not drive the cars very far in general I know their ins and outs but I don’t know what it’s like to live with them. However, I have a really nice opportunity to get a RZ practically free through Lexus but I know the range is not too great. My apartment complex does not have a charger and only has parking deck parking so I have no way to charge at home, but my city has a ton of chargers and I can every now and then charge at work. So people who own them will it be manageable for me to own or is the range too iffy not being able to charge at home?
ive had my 2015 es350 for 3 years. until this week, if i got close to the car with the key fob in my pocket it would unlock automatically when i put my hand on the door handle, but suddenly now i have to press the unlock button on the key fob. i changed the battery in the fob like 6 months ago. it should be fine. also, it's both keys.
any ideas why? is it a setting?
Are there more people here with an IS200?
