Hey guys I was working on my car and got a bit on oil on the seats from jumping in and out. I got chemical bros bc they’re always my go to and it got some of it out but I can still tell it’s there. I was thinking of mixing it with baking soda or just have some baking soda and Dawn dish soap but unsure if there’s a better option. What would you guys suggest?
A follow up for a follow up post I made 9 days ago, The audio in my '19 RC350 still doesn't work.
Since then;
I changed two amplifier fuses in the interior fuse box, didn't work.
Took the car to two trusted mechanics in my area who couldn't figure out what was going on with the car.
On Saturday I will be taking it to another mechanic who worked on my other car and fixed its radio issue ('01 E46 touring)
I tried all possible audio inputs except Bluetooth, none of which worked.
I took apart the right hand side of the trunk to access the amplifier (NON ML) which didn't seem to have any water damage. I took the amplifier out and disassembled it. It was somewhat dirty and shaking it sounded like little rocks flying around which made me think it could've been the issue, I cleaned the amplifier, Reassembled it, Put it back but to no avail.
I even disconnected the negative cable on two different occasions, both cables once and now I disconnected the positive cable, I'll put it back on tomorrow and try again.
Is there anything else I'm missing? Is there something that I would need to check? Is there anything else that could've caused this? How exactly do I diagnose this in case this mechanic fails too? What do I actually need to do? Is there anything that could've caused the radio to die out the way it did? I started losing audio progressively, It didn't happen immediately, First it kept changing the volume by itself and after restarting the car it just didn't work. I apologise for how much I've been posting about this issue but it's driving me insane. Thank you in advance
Came an across the opportunity to get a RCF hood for a low price. Just curious if anyone has already done it with pics? 2015 RCF hood on 2017 350 f sport.
(2019)
So when I bought my RC, with the intention of getting in the scene, I met my boy Dre who's cars been featured on NIAs website n we started a club with a mix of IS RC n other models. A year later we put some mods together.
So I recently used an adhesive spray to get big death off my side mirror. It happened to stain the plastic greyish white. Lexus parts told me 120 for the plastic bit but then after I brought it in. A mechanic quoted me 800 for an entire mirror because he said he can’t get just the plastic piece. Any advice ? I found some mirrors on eBay but don’t know if they’re OEM or not
Winter’s coming soon and I need a set of winter tires. I’m looking for Enkei T6R 188 +40 5114.3 72.6 wheels but sellers told me they are not sure whether these wheels will fit my vehicle, especially the brakes(it’s a 2024 RC350 F sports 3, OEM wheels are: front 235/40R19; rear 265/35R19). I haven’t did any mod to my brakes so I’m just wondering if anyone of you have tried this before. Any recommendations on wheels is helpful for me too! I can’t really afford volk racing or something like that although I like them as well…🙂↕️🙂↕️🙂↕️
Has anybody found a good cover or product/method to clean the start button? That cloudiness irks me when i look at it lol. Id prefer something that isnt tacky but theres so many on the internet I figured I’d ask if anyone has had success finding something to make this look better(whether cleaning, replacement, or cover) Thanks in advance
I just tested my 2009 4 cylinder Nissan Altima sedan that has had no fluid flushes other than oil, no spark plug changes, new but semi flat tires and a brake warning light on, and it does 9.8 secs off a red light, longer if I use "sport" mode and have to shift. Why should I "upgrade" to a V6 coupe without leather seats for 3.8 seconds? ((I do love the CD player and familiar cockpit but am obviously po'd that there is no leather or cloth option))
Hi all, I made another post regarding this issue on 12/10/2024 But now, I will go into more detail and explain what's happening.
On one random sunny day while playing music in my '19 RC350, The radio started being weird. The volume kept changing itself from high to low, and after about 5 more minutes of driving I kept losing and regaining audio volume. I stopped at a friends house and turned the car off, waiting to pick him up. After turning it back on the audio completely stopped working. Hasn't worked since until on the same day later at night after a few restarts the audio worked fine and had no hiccups... Until the next day when it completely stopped working. Hasn't worked since, no sound at all. Most of the time the volume knob didn't even worse and it was stuck at VOLUME 17 for days, now it's working again. I took the negative cable off the battery for a few hours, put it back on, started the car but still no audio. Today I changed one radio (15V) fuse and 2 amplifier (30V) fuses. Still no audio. I'm hoping and praying this isn't the common issue of the amplifier getting wet and I will clarify that I'm sure my car doesn't have a ML amplifier either. This is the situation for now, I've messed with the settings quite a lot but to no avail. I really need your help as there basically isn't any information about this issue. Thanks in advance.
Can anyone send me a link or lmk what would be a really good mid-pipe for a 2020 Rc 350 f-sport been trying to look but can’t really find any lol
Been hearing this weird clinging noise underneath my car on the driver side. I do have an aftermarket exhaust so I’m not sure if something is loose, but what do yall think?
Hi all,
I am relatively new to this subreddit. I am considering my next car to be the Lexus RC (either the 350 F Sport or the F). For context, I am mainly a coupe enthusiast and the current car I drive is a 2017 Honda Civic LX Coupe. I wanted to know if there has been any information released on whether Lexus will keep making RC's in 2025 or 2026. Recently, Lexus confirmed there will be an IS 2025, but now I would like to know the same for the RC.
So I have these beautiful, comfortable seats that I love to sit in. But….. the seat warmers suck. I realize that anything other than the LS doesn’t actually get cooled seats even if we have buttons for them since it’s just little fans. But I’m just not sure if the seat warmers in my RC F are bad from the factory or if they’re actually broken.
My Yukon, Camry and Infiniti seat warmers would all roast me right out of my seat but I honestly can’t even feel anything in the RC.
How are your guy’s seat warmers? Is this an RC issue, an F issue or should I take advantage of the expensive warranty I bought?
HIREV CWB + invidia exhaust (warm start) Pretty easy install on the lights took like 1 hour.. It’s been a head turner whenever I pass by lexus drivers I’m guessing it’s a good sign lmao first ever aftermarket tails for an RC
Whats the best exhaust! Im curious & wanted to see some clips of your exhaust system!!
Does anyone have the gt haus axle back and mid pipe? I’m curious to how it sounds but I can only find sound clips for the RCF.
