Established in the early 1980s and launched in 1989, the Lexus marque soon became associated with quality, luxury and superior customer satisfaction. The brand reputation grew quickly until, barely a dozen years after its founding, Lexus became America's best-selling line of luxury motor vehicles.

Didn’t see it when I was leaving for work. At the previous job I parked in a parking garage and needed an employee badge to get in. Went back to my car like 20 mins later because I forgot my charger and that’s when I saw it. Talked to security who checked the cameras and said they didn’t see the scratch on the hood when I was coming in the parking garage. Said they couldn’t see who did it which I called bs.
Hey guys to keep it short n simple this is my last resort for my 198k miles is250. i love this car so much and was abt to replace it tbh but decided id give it one more chance of life with seafoam. every video ive seen seems to do it wrong (based on the comments). for equal distribution to all cylinders from your guy’s experience should i just put it thru the intake manifold? some comment was saying that there is some sort of 10 mm service vacuum just after the throttle body aswell would that be more effective or does the throttle body technique work fine? I really hope this gets her running again bcuz that car is my baby and i really dont want to replace her.
Anyways thank you for the help in advance🙏
Exterior (front and rear design)
On the whole, the outline of the appearance has not changed, and the internal arrangement of the headlights has become more complicated. In addition to the change of through the taillights and internal arrangement, the rear badge of the car has been replaced with the LEXUS letter mark.
Interior The interior seems to keep the clock and replace with the 14-inch Lexus Interface system。 But canceling the two knobs above the dashboard that controlled ESP and driving mode, the dashboard may also be replaced with 12.3-inch panel.
The car will be officially launched at Guangzhou Auto Show on 15th November.
Hey everyone! hope yall are doing great! I just bought this 2015 gs350 f sport in black with 93k miles on it from a dealer. they said they did a 50 point inspection and oil leak was one of them. I smell a burning oil smell when I drive hard and I was just wondring is this normal for a car like that Appreciate any tips on this matter, I still have time to return it and its my first car :)
For the past week the check engine light on my 2007 ES 350 comes on when I drive the car but only stays on about 2-3 minutes then turns off. It will stay off the same amount of time then comes back on. Car seems to run fine and I only drive it around town on short trips. Would you guys bring it in to the shop or not worry about it for now? I’m guessing it’s a sensor loose or something. Also, can autozone scan it if the light is not currently on?
Second time doing the self wash. Worked really great. Then I got it dirty right after 🤣
Looking to just pick up a used sway bar but wanna make sure that the part fits. Any recs where I can get used OEM parts?
Recently purchased a 2017 NX 200T FSport. I've read online that pushing the door lock button on the remote 3 times and holding it down on the 3rd will start the engine, but I have had no luck getting it to work. Is there something I'm missing here?
Hi, we’re looking at a 2024 TX 500h and I’d like to have a 2” receiver installed for bike and luggage racks. Has anyone done a self install? I’ve put hitches on several other cars and it’s been pretty straight forward, but the TX and the kick sensor have me curious about complexity.
I’m also curious what kind of deals people are seeing on these. Our local dealer has a couple dozen in stock and they just got the parts to repair the airbag recall last week. The 2025s are heading to showrooms soon too so I gotta imagine these 2024s are going to languish without a major incentive.
Hi everyone, I'm going to buy a new Lexus rx350 but I can't decide whether to get hybrid or gas. My commute to work is only 7 miles one way, 3x a week. I may do a road trip every now and then but nothing too crazy. I've been reading that if I don't travel that much, I won't see the savings from getting a hybrid. The price at the dealership for a Lexus rx350 gas vs hybrid is very similar (maybe $2k) difference. I also heard hybrid APRs are higher as well. Would love to hear what you guys think. TIA!
I'm not a huge car person but basically looking for a good driving experience and comfort, luxury feeling. I do like the feel of BMWs but the appeal of a less maintenance and not having to think about whether or not I want a 3 year lease etc has drawn me to Lexus. I just want to buy a good car and not have to think about it for like 10 years lol.
How do I choose between a 2024 350h Luxury vs 500h F Sport? Have people had better experiences with one or the other? How does it compare to an X5?
Earlier this year I bought a CPO ’21 ES 350, and for the past couple of months I’ve been dealing with an intermittent buzzing noise inside the car. I finally took it to the dealer this week and they said the sound was coming from the dash. However, in order to diagnose the cause of the noise they would have to remove the entire dash, and I could be liable to pay ~$1200 for the labor costs if the problem is not covered by warranty. I asked why would this issue not be covered by warranty and they said it is possible that I had work done by a 3rd party on the dash. Ever since I bought the car (from another dealership) the only place I went to for service was this dealer, but they said that since the car was used the previous owner could have done it.
Does this sound right? Even if the previous owner had done work on the dash, the car was sold as to me as Lexus certified. Since the car is CPO with factory warranty, shouldn’t this be covered no matter what? What should I do in this situation?
108,000 miles. $6500. Clean title.
I have a 2010 RX 350. I want to sleep in the trunk without triggering the alarm if I roll around in the middle of the night. What do you think I should do? Ideally, I would like to lock the doors if possible but not required since I have friends camping in adjacent campsites.
My uncle is a mechanic and he is stumped because his 2008 LS 460 is throwing a VSC code, ABS, and check engine light all at once. The possible outcome is either the fuel pump, the fuel injector modules, or the wires that connect into the module are bad.
The scanner codes are C1201 and P1236. If anyone knows anything about this please help out, thanks again!
Hello everyone! I’m new here and just wanted to ask a quick question about Lexus’s Active Sound Control (ASC).
I was wondering if it’s possible to turn off the active sound control feature on Lexus vehicles. For those who may not be familiar, this is the system that pumps artificial engine noise into the cabin through the speakers.
From what I've gathered, it sounds like on some older models there may have been a knob under the steering wheel that allowed drivers to turn off ASC manually. I also heard that, in certain cases, it might be possible to disable the enhanced engine noise through the infotainment settings, but I’m not entirely sure if this applies to all models. Any insights or advice on this would be greatly appreciated!
