I didn’t see anyone else post their photos, I’m no photographer though. Where’s u/yuccatrees when you need them.
Anyway!!! This was fantastic to see!
Any insight on this school? Considering teaching there
Thanks!
So I just moved to the HD. I love to hike but I am having a hard time because I’m terrified that I will be bitten by a rattlesnake especially on low traffic trails.
How common is it to see a rattlesnake? And if I bought snake gaiters would I look stupid hiking in them?
Does anyone have a vet in the high desert that they love that also has reasonable prices? Aside from Samaritan Animal Hospital. They seem to be the best priced vet that I can find in this area.
From my own list, I think a barcade, more craft breweries/tap houses with live entertainment, desert zoo, indoor archery range, comics/toys/collectibles/book store would do pretty well.
Is there anywhere in the HD to see rock or metal shows
The best photo we could get from the cameras
What types of food do y'all think we're missing out here and would like to see open up near here?
Any locations in the HD that make custom t-Shirts?
I just wanted to reach out to see if any Car Auto/Mechanic shops are open on Saturday? I put a post about car mechanics a while back but I been trying to go during the week but hours haven’t been favorable due to work. Thank you for any assistance!
Anybody see what looked like a rocket moving west to east over the AV around 9:07 pm?
It's really odd. Usually being city manager is a pretty solid gig, but in California City they're on their 7th City Manager / acting City Manager in a little over a year.
I know they've had some financial issues since the prison closed and they haven't been great in collecting marijuana taxes, but this seems like it's a bigger issue. Does anybody have the inside scoop?
Currently looking for land to build, saw some nice lots in pinion hills on some nice hills overlooking the desert. How is the area? Specifically wild horse canyon
What’s happening on the Cajon pass? There’s at least 20 unmarked police vehicles lined up off the freeway. Trains just sitting there
I’m a little confused about accepting orders. There are orange locations that light up. Do we drive to those areas and wait for an order to pop up? I’ve only gotten 2 orders pushed to me and it’s when I forget to log off for the day. I can’t pick places to accept orders. Is it too busy? Not enough orders?
I’m also looking to people to go out riding with. Thanks
Can anyone recommend a good builder/contractor for pools? I’m looking to do a small, rectangular pool alongside an existing covered patio. Probably 10-12 feet wide and 15-25ish feet long. An attached spa would be nice but it depends on the cost.
I’ve seen Yelp reviews for SBC Pools and Mojave Pools, which both make great looking pools. I’ve heard SBC is the more affordable of the two. Can anybody share the total cost of their pool?
I was also interested in fiberglass pools with automated covers but those seem to be less common.
Thanks in advance 🙂
I was on Highway 62 Friday 4/26/24 at 10pm headed from interstate 10 to Old Woman Springs and noticed 4 different drones flying or more correctly hovering over the road. One at what we call the "entry to the badlands" 2 in Morongo Basin and one at the top of the grade entering Yucca Valley.
I have never been accused of wearing a tinfoil hat but this was something strange... Did anyone else see them?
Hi all,
I’ll be in LA for a few days over the summer and really want to get out to the desert for a hike. I won’t have a private vehicle but it seems like Saddleback Butte near Lake Los Angeles has a bus stop nearby. I’m wondering if bus service out there is reliable or if I’ll end up stranded in the desert. It’s AVTA line 50 that goes there. If anyone has experience with that line or general advice about public transit in the area, I’d love to hear your opinion on this. Thanks!
Seen this on my way to my sons baseball lessons and was wondering the backstory if any. Address is 17861 pitache st
