It has been 11 years since I wore* my one and only Anime cosplay: "Steampunk Haruhi".

She caused quite a stir! Generally, people hated her. At one point I 'statued' myself for about five minutes at a busy corner of the main market-hall. literally dozens og people walked past me, loudly uttering their nasty opinions all for me to hear. "Kill it with fire" was one, several times! And there were many other equally disparaging remarks.

Astonishing how wearing a mask instantly dehumanizes the person inside!

My local Steampunk crowd were equally distainful. Somehow I had broken some un-written covenant. I was ruining their group-photos! (There were many, And I'm prowd of myself for staying and shoving myself into 'our' group.

Later I re-invented the 'statuing' trick on a quiet corner. EVERYONE going past just automatically took her for a mannequin. Just-amazing! .. Then, when I knew they had clearly taken me as just a 'prop' - I'd move! I'd wave! And they would FREAK! It was evil fun.

But then the most joyous moment of my otherwise shitty day: There two dudes came by .. and totally LOVED her. Love my work. Loved getting trolled. And we all took this photo together. IT IS MY BEST!

Since then (except for a brief apearance at the NZ Steampunk Festival, 2014) she has hung on my wall. This Sunday she goes on sale, "The Newmarket" Ashgrove, Brisbane. She won't be cheap. Took me 300+ hours.

But if any of you, anywhere in the world, wants to jump in first and "shout back" right now that you want to be the lucky winner, well I'l set her aside and we can haggle.. and figure out how to send her on her next adventure. Remember, THIS IS UNIQUE. You will be the only person in the World to collect and own this costume!

For the first episode, the sub has one and the dub has another. Does this have to do with the watch order? Which is chronological?

I've wondered this for a while now. Usually when Animes are done by different Japanese Anime companies they don't tend to go back to the original studio they first started the Anime with. So I was wondering if Kyoto Animation KyoAni studios still do The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Anime? Or did Kadokawa give the rights to Studio Satelight? I always found it kind of odd that Kyoto Animation KyoAni studios never did The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-Chan Anime like they did the rest of the Haruhi Suzumiya Anime, Movies and spin off series. Only Nagato Yuki-Chan wasn't made by KyoAni studios. Did KyoAni help out with making the Nagato Yuki-Chan Anime or no? Why was Nagato Yuki-chan no Shōshitsu done by Satelight and not KyoAni? The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Season 3 Anime needs to happen.What do you guys think? Thank you for taking the time to answer a question of mine. I appreciate it.

I remember at one point the Anime community voted for The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya to get another sequel Anime. A 3rd season. And it even got in the top 10 spot for the world's most wanted Anime to continue on. Guys, I'm thinking to get a Haruhi Suzumiya's tattoo soon... and I'm making such ideas to my forearm tattoo.

Haruhi Suzumiya making the "peace" pose and on the KyoAni anime-style, she wearing the Santos FC shirt to reference my favorite association football/soccer team and holding a Pokémon ball and a videogame console like Wii to reference my childhood.

All of this are a reference to my life, because Haruhi Suzumiya are my favorite anime and character ever, I found some tattooers here in São Paulo and one loved the idea... I guess.
