I have been playing for a while now. I've always played the falconers guild and I love them with every fiber of my being. I would absolutely love if there were some alternate sculpts that aren't rookie ikaros and limited edition Mataagi. If anyone comes across some cool falconers stuff let me know.
I seen in a topic 4 months ago a link to discord. It doesnt seem to function now. Can someone there post a link for us? Thanks
My wife and I are looking at starting. She loves chaotic random game play. Which team or two would fit that playstyle that i can present to her? Thanks
So I have heard rumors that there were stls for the different teams to 3d print the models. And with SFG releasing stls for the starter set, I am inclined to believe that they do exist. Is there any actual truth to these rumors? And if so, where does one find them?
I was just looking at the free resources section and they have the player cards but do not have files for the paper dolls on their own. I do not have, nor do I want to make, an account to access the files and I was wondering if anyone had noticed this?
I have some Fishermen’s Guild from years ago and I see that Steamforged is selling the models again on their website. I wanted to get a faction or two to play with my wife. What other factions are pure scoring, or heavily designed for scoring? If the answer is going to be “all can be built to score”, what are your top three Faction picks, omitting Fish, if you wanted a scoring team. Thank you for any insights/assistance you can provide.
It’s returned…
Rumor has it Muse on Minis is closing up shop. Does anyone know of any other shop that does up to date tokens for sale?
Ebay only has used stuff from S2 as of rn
I know it's a long shot but I am trying to replace my vet captian salt, mine was stolen when I was at a tournament years ago and I am looking for a replacement. Does anybody know how to reorder another one or have one they are willing to part with?
genuinely curious if anyone else is interested in jumping into a collaborative project to make project to make proxy sculpts for at home printing? its clearly not economical enough for any buisness to do, because they would have by now, and SFG has said they will not release them. I understand people are tired of the small group of printing enthusiasts complaining about it and I want to do something about it.
Hello guys! I'm seriously contemplating to jump into the game. I came clear with the core rules from the S4 rulebook, I watched some match reports. But with the changes between the multiple seasons, and the "dropped-in-but-not-officialy-released" concept I can't wrap my head around the following three systems: -Guild plots, -Guild identity cards, and -Game plan cards. Which one is an active concept right now? How they contribute to the game? Do they change from season to season? Should/can I buy them somewhere? Thank you in advance!
Hey folks!
Just checking in to see if we have any Tulsa, or surrounding areas, players represented here. We're currently trying to build up our local base. We have 2 regulars, myself and another player, local to Tulsa with a couple more people interested.
Right now we're playing every Wednesday night at 5pm at a local gaming store, that night may shift in the near future.
DM me for more details! See you on the pitch!
I am mostly new to this game. I was given a team to use, but I did not receive and of the tokens or movement templates to go with them. Is there anywhere that I could find files for my laser cutter to make what I need for the farmers? I could try to design it myself, but why reinvent the wheel?
Hello everyone,
We are a group of new players and we are wondering which teams the community considers the easiest to learn how to play with. We understand that Guild Ball is a very tactical game and that certain mistakes can be heavily penalized, making it easy for more experienced players to win. Before joining the community, we wanted to get some advice on how to approach this.
Thank you very much in advance!
I’ve been eyeing a couple of the made to order print teams. Was wondering what people’s experience with them has been? What’s the resin and print quality like? Any thoughts are greatly appreciated
Slowly getting to grips with guildball after my fried dragged me into the hobby, really enjoying it and feel I’m definitely focusing more now on strategy rather than core rules mechanics, comments and strategy advice would be greatfully received.
Minus Corker and Flea, who I do not have. Custom made Decimate from Hero Forge, because when I started playing, it was murder to find her...Handmade Outhouse goal post. To be honest, I haven't painted any figures in at least four years, so I'm kinda happy with how they came out. For some reason I had stripped them and primed them in canary yellow...and Friday lost almost all detail.
I want to strip the primer from my old Ratcatchers, since we seem to have a re-igniting group for play. I had primed them at some point previously and it was too thick for some reason.
The Ratcatchers are in some form of plastic or resin, I'm not too sure. What is okay for stripping them? I'm used to using LA Awesome for de-inking dice, but I never know what will wind up melting plastic.
I wanted to print out newest cards for the Brewers, Mason's and Farmers from Steam Forged but now have to go through shopping cart which wants to charge 20 dollars shipping. Are others seeing this? Did I do something wrong?
Im kinda new here but i Love tabletop games and minnies. I noticed it kinda dead here but this game seens so catchy. My country has any tabletop comunity and I Wonder how can i catch those minnies. 3d print I think? And you guys, how are u doing,
Is there a source for character specific tokens and markers for the print on demand models?
Quick rules question: if I select a momentous push result against a model like Collosus with stoic, or a momentous KD result against a model like Granite with sturdy, or any momentous result against a model like Mash with resilience, I don't gain the momentum because the result is "ignored" correct? But what about a momentous 1 damage against a tough hide model? The word "ignored" is absent, but it's still effectively ignored right?
Finally took the plunge into Guildball after relentless prodding from my friend Ryan.
Started off with some intro games learning the rules, all in preparation to dive into our first proper game Brewers vs. Fishermen
We even recorded the match for feedback. Would love your insights on my tactics and any tips you can offer. Expect a fair share of blunders, but hey, that's how we improve, right? Check out the video and let's dissect the game together!
A guide to the cooks guild. Is it full of useful tactics? Probably. Is it comprehensive? Maybe. Will I give a straight answer? Dunno.
Can a model jog (partial) -> action -> jog (remaining distance) -> action?
For instance; Tapper moves 3" to engage a model, gets KD, moves 2" to engage a different model attacks.
TIA!
Has anyone purchased from Steamforged recently? I know that at launch of PoD that quality control and wait time were horrendous. Looking to see if the process has improved at all before I purchase. Thanks.
