Posts should be either text describing or asking about fidget toys, or images showing them. Links to purchase should be added in the comments if you are selling the items or when you are posting a new fidget you found.

If asked, share where you bought your fidgets

Sharing your cool items is what being part of the community is about, but if you gatekeep where you bought them then you aren't really being a good community member. If you are asked about where to purchase something you post, it would be awesome if you would post where you got it from.

Zuru Fidget Cube switch feels different on both sides?

I just got a zuru fidget cube in the mail, and I'm quite happy, but there's a couple issues with it. The switch feels a bit inconsistent. One on side, when I press it down, it doesn't really click, it just kind of moves down. On the other side, a little bit of pressure will cause it to snap/click like you'd expect. It feels like I'm setting a spring, and then releasing it. Is this normal?

Also, the joystick feels pretty bad honestly. I was hoping for something like a nintendo 3ds control pad, but it's rattley, and has weird clicky springy sounds when I move it.

Looking for a slightly clicky, heavy weight (preferably metal) fidget

I had a USB stick like this

https://preview.redd.it/ajkrecvenpzd1.png?width=1228&format=png&auto=webp&s=8791b5a203ca6afb27d2f2e3f241432e80a2a134

Does anyone know of any fidgets that are like this? Thanks in advance!

Would it be possible to Re-Magnetise ONO Sigbits / Signets

ONO came out with “Signets” at a great small size, but had to resize the product larger because it’s a choking hazard for children. I do not have children and am never near them.

They unmagnetised their initial products and turned them into “Sigbits”. I was wondering if it would be possible to magnetise them again?

  • Original Magnetic strength was ~77g if that helps.

Questions about (reusable) picky pads

Hi all,

I have adhd as well as skin picking disorder, and I've only recently discovered picky pads. I've been trying out my first one and I feel like this is something that could be really helpful for me. The one I have now was just something cheap from Amazon and I feel like it's a little too easy to pick the beads out of this one. I saw on Etsy that you can also buy reusable ones, which seems like a more sustainable option as well.

If you use picky pads, would you mind sharing with me if you use the reusable ones and what are some things to look out for when you buy them? Do they have to be made from a certain material (read somewhere that some materials could get stuck under your finger nails, which doesn't sound.... appealing...)? If you live in Europe, do you have any shops on Etsy that you recommend (shipping from US to here would be too expensive)? How difficult is it to reheat and remold a picky pad?

Thanks! :)

Looking for a fidget toy

For as long as I can remember I've always needed something to swing around. I guess as a way to help me process my thoughts and emotions. Giving my body something to focus on while my mind processes ideas and makes sense of things. As a kid I'd use things like a sock that just has another sock in it, those beads necklaces you get at carnivals, or even my dogs leash, that I'd just clip to itself so it looped around and had that weight at the end.

Now I'm looking for a more permanent, and more discrete option. It has to be something I can swing around, and it has to have some weight at the end of it. Can somebody please give me reccomendations.

Update: Thanks for all the suggestions. I've picked a few that look like they'd work for me, like the komboloi, worry beads, begleri, and monkeyfist. I think the komboloi looks perfect, but if anyone has any other ideas I'm open to suggestions.

What Transformers toy is the most satisfying to fidget with?

Looking for something that's sturdy and satisfying and simple enough that I can do it absentmindedly.

most durable fidgets?

i manage to break nearly every fidget i use, so i have to try to be more gentle with my fidgets. recently though stress has been high and i really need something that can take a beating. what are your most durable fidgets?

stuff like sliders and spinner rings dont really work since theyre not aggressive enough, and preferably it would be silent (or mostly silent) but at this point ill take any suggestions i can get. TYIA!!

My first spinner arrived - Spinet by Fidgetry - (NFTD)

Spinet by Fidgetry in Black.

As usual when I pick up something new, I went down the rabbithole and did a lot of research before purchasing anything (rather than letting Reddit buyer remorse kick in as I relive having to return something in favour of the optimal product!) Enter the Spinet Elite by Fidgetry. Pleased to see something made by a fellow Redditor and also locally to me in the UK.

It is very well machined and feels very smooth in the hand with a pleasant weight. The PVD coating has the added bonus of looking a bit zirc like with the shiny finish. I particularly like that it doesn't have logos plastered over it. It spins for a very long time but I am new to this and since this is my first spinner I will caveat that I don't have any others to compare it to in that regard.

Would not hesitate to recommend, this is priced very reasonably - especially for someone new to the market who (like me) likely balks at the £500+ options!

Looking for a thin premium haptic coin

Hi all,

I'm looking to buy a haptic coin, but I would love it to be thinner than the ones I mostly see online. Is there a brand I could look into? Lautie and Umburry are very nice but they have a small selection with no designs that appeal to me.

I just built a online fidget spinner site that will let you spin and play with different fidget 3D toys. I'd like to get some feedback on it and see what else I could do to make it better. thanks

Mouth-safe, thin, textured toy?

Hi! I've tried some fidget toys in the past to help nail biting, skin picking, and hair pulling. None has done its job, because I search for quite specific input. I dislike spinning, or things that are too smooth or gummy. Mouth safe toys I found were always quite chunky (to accomodate biting/chewing, I suppose). So while focusing on other things I'd just end up dropping them and reverting to bad habits without noticing :(

My fingers and mouth specifically seek out thin/small things. With nails, once they're a bit bitten, the jagged and pointy texture is irresistible. For hair, I will specifically seek out ones that are especially curly as they have a "rough", wiry texture that is at times thinner and at times larger.

I don't know if something that could be useful to my needs exist, but I thought this could be the best place to ask! :)

This company will hang you out to dry

Ordered the wrong size and noticed right away in the order confirmation. No option to cancel or modify the order to I had to email them since there’s no phone number listed. Also sent messages on various social media platforms and received no response. Took them 2+ days to reply to my email and by then the order had obviously shipped, so now I’m on the hook for all the shipping/duty fees and will have to return. Terrible experience with this small business, they should be ashamed with the quality of their customer service.

What are some decently priced fidget sliders available on Amazon? Preferably a 3 layer tract slider but others are fine too.

Non-Fluro Wacky Track / Chainlink Spinner

Does anyone know if it's possible to get a Wacky Track that's not fluro?

Specifically, I'd love to find a less glaringly obvious version of the below fidget (three arms, clickable, spinner). I feel really self conscious when people see me use it, and I haven't found another fidget that I like/feels the same.

It would be amazing if they made it in black, but all of my searches are turning up nada!

Like this, but not fluro/bright

Picky pad

Does anyone know something harder than rubber silicone? I have the reusable picky pad from the cozy tangerine and i love it but it's so easy. I want something that I have to work on. Does anyone have any ideas? Tia

Are their any fidget toys which have the sensation of clicking a pen but doesn’t make noise?

I have bad anxiety and am looking for a fidget toy to calm my nerves down. I like to click my pens during school but after a while I’m told not to because of the noise. Are their any fidget toys that give the same feeling of clicking a pen but doesn’t make noise?
