Does anyone know why in utep and probably in most universities there is no difference for gpa between 90 and 100?

I get we are struggling in football. But why does our basketball attendance suck? We need to show up for our team as there is nothing else to do in El Paso.

I see all these groups of friends just having the times of their lives at college and I really don't want to be excluded.. It's hard to make friends out there because people you meet in class you might not see them again anymore next semester. And it's even hard making friends in class as well. It's hard approaching people too, especially interesting pretty people like yall, I just find you really intimidating and impossible to apprach for some reason. I genuinely just see every guy and girl with their groups of friends already established and I don't know I kinda wish I had something like that. I really don't wanna fall behind and stay alone cuz I feel I'm missing out on so much. :c

I had a couple questions if anyone has gone through this program and could help out! How is the program in general? Are the classes completely asynchronous since I am going to be working full time? How long does the program take to complete on average? How are the exams, how are they proctored? And how are the professors for the courses?

If a water fountain is broken, I can send a request to maintenance to fix it. Is there such a thing for library room 300?

We had an exam which needed calculators but half of the class (not me, thankfully) couldn't get a calculator from them because they ran out.

I transferred from EPCC, and I'm at the 66 credit limit; however, there's a class I would rather instead take at EPCC rather than UTEP; if I take it, will it not count towards my degree at UTEP? If not, is there a way to make it count towards it?

I recently changed my major, and i have the required base credits for my new major, i am currently taking Calculus 1, and I was told by my temp advisor I should keep taking it as it will count to my block elective but I genuinely don't know what I'm doing. Could I get away with dropping the class, and taking a lower level math class later on, or would they not let me

GlobalProtect doesn't ship an Arch Linux client, so I'm using OpenConnect isntead. This is the command I use to connect to the VPN:

With the 2024 presidential election approaching, I wanted to share a project that’s aimed at raising awareness and encouraging more people to get out and vote. It’s called Presidential Pick'em, and it allows you to predict the outcome of the election by filling out your own electoral map.

It’s a fun way to get people thinking about the election while also contributing to some crowdsourced data. The goal is to compare predictions to actual results and hopefully spark more engagement in the election process.

Each prediction will be scored based on how accurate it was and the results will be displayed on a global leaderboard. You can also create and join pools to challenge friends, roommates, or other groups.

It's BY FAR and CONSISTENTLY the coldest building on campus. CCSB, Classroom, Engineering, etc. are all toloreable, but UGLC, especially the auditoriums, are fucking awful.
