The production and vibe were just another level. It reminds me of old TIs. We had the similar crowds and production. League is an old game too, but Riot just never gave up on it.
I really enjoyed captains mode. Was bummed when they removed it. That’s all thanks for listening 🙃
Hello all,
I was just wondering if those who've been following pro dota longer than me could help satisfy my curiosity - are there any heroes that have never really been in the pro meta.
Since I've been paying attention, these are some heroes I've basically never seen played (outside of maybe a handful of games):
Legion Commander
Shadow Shaman
Ogre Magi
Jakiro
Silencer
Have these heroes ever had prominence in pro play? Are there any other heroes you can think of that just haven't really ever been picked over the decade or so of pro games we've had?
You can't force staff or pike yourself OR get force staffed or piked by an ally when leashed by NP's sprout with level 20 talent.
May I know what the **** am I supposed to do ? Carry a quelling blade/battle fury as every hero ???
They 4r dropping an updates in deadlock literally every day, halloween patch and other stuff, but what they do with dota? Dont even talkin bout cs, every game cheater. So why are they delaying the release of act 4 for so long, online rapidly falling, new players are more likely to go to lol or deadlock, they are losing profits, perhaps only this will wake them up. Hey guys, you have two games in the online top , do something, release a new hero in the new year, let people close this event in two months, or does the staff not allow you to manage in 3 months? Ahh yeah, small indie project, with 3 indian guys working on game, 1 doing +1 armor updates, 2 do a crownfall, 3 working on bird samurai and they cant make it in time🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
about Crystallis
As someone who rarely have time to play nowadays I only play unranked, with rare opportunities to play I would rather play a hero I enjoy win or lose. Hate me for it or not that hero is Pudge, and as you expect the most popular hero is almost always in multiple players ban list, then if he's not banned he's picked by someone else in the enemy team as well so he gets banned regardless.
im looking for a death prophet cosmetic, I cant find it in the game
maybe im making it up
I remembered a cosmetic for her Spirit Siphon spell that made the suck a big rainbow graphic
i cant find it anywhere in game. Did it even exist?
Does anyone actually play with this view?
I used to play DotA back in the Warcraft 3 days up until around the time OG won their second TI. I've been out of the game for a while now and have been feeling the itch to start playing again.
I played mostly played midlane and support. My go-to's were CM, Zeus, Lich, BS, and Disruptor
What major gameplay changes do I need to be aware of? I've heard something about warding being different now but don't know any details. Are there any major changes to core mechanics that might throw me off?
Say it once. Say it again. And again. And again.
Fed up with seeing the same set of strength heroes being picked over and over. Can we have a game where supports are picked to gank the enemy cores instead of just saving their cores? Can we have a game where a Dragon Knight not being able to go around farming wherever he wants because the other team has no chance of killing him unless they gather 3 - 4 heroes? Can we have a game where 4 players with good maneuvers are still able to win the fight against 5 enemy heroes? Instead of the carry farming all game and dying without buyback at min 30 because of some silly mistake and it's game over because there's no one else that can kill the tanky guys.
Game is always much harder when there are 2 - 3 tanky cores on the other team. It's already hard to gank 1, even with 2 - 3 heroes. And in a 5 vs 5 fight you simply don't have enough damage.
Tanky heroes are supposed to tank, not to both tank and deal a lot of damage.
Recently atf has been going for bloodstone on mars, usually when he buys the euls-> pipe-> blink -> aether lens build. He usually has the bloodstone bought after aether lens, any reason why he bloodstone besides the hp and mana? Radius increase is small for arena, does this aoe change also affects his spear??? and spell lifesteal is not significant compared to heroes like lesh or sandking.
What the title says anyone know a fix it just started happening a few days ago
I hope you sleep on the wrong side of the bed.
Crack your yolks when you fry eggs.
Spilling coffee on your shirt.
Losing your favorite pen right before an important note.
Dropping a piece of toast butter-side down.
Stubbing your toe on the furniture.
Getting a paper cut while handling documents.
Misplacing your keys just as you’re about to leave.

Any team spirit fan?
Toronto/Larl, Yatoro, Collapse, Miposhla, Mira
I'll be bold to say we won't be able to see the same caliber of team ever again.
It was a pleasure watching this team. How they execute team plays, not just only doing that but executing team plays at high times can be a pleasure to watch.
Yatoro knowing what he wants, gettings what he want, and being able to execute when he gets what he wants. A carry that is bold to use every one of his team to be the strongest carry.
Mira, the under appreciated pos4. He may sometimes fuck ups but he is the reason why spirit is deadly.
Miposhka, no idea how he leads a team. But one think i know when i watch him play. I was doubtful at him first, but this guy can really perform. Feels like he plays a pos4 but can play pos5 happily. But when time comes, he really performs. No signs of neglect when playing. Spirit reached their success because every SINGLE one is delivering plays.
Collapse? Bru. I remember Nisha when i see him. Not the plays, but he just embody the love for the game we love. He appreciates when someone plays good game than him. Remember rubik(xinq )when he tried to skewer someone? And his playstle? I call him Kobe of dota. Only the part where he is clutch, and really clutch when the pressure is up. Crazy right? Yeah.
Anyone team spirit fan? Can someone confirm who is the head behind their plastyle? I do understand it vary depends who you got on the team.
Grats.
Sorry for the rant. Just missing good old dota fewls
Cheers. Sorry if someone gets offended. Get good
I've recently started playing Dota 2 because it's one of my partner's favourite games. The problem is that i'm really bad. Dota 2 is my first MOBA game that i have ever played and my k.d is usually somewhere around 3/10 if not worse. I get super stressed out and anxious when playing multiplayer games alone with randoms, but trying to push myself and learn so i can make them happy. The game seems super hard and i feel like i don't bring any value to the team. Any advice is appreciated.
Hi im a new player who wants new friends to play with :) 50 or something hours in so far Leave your discord or steam in comment and ill add <33 West eu
Tell me about your collection of dota / valve or other collectibles you have.
I personaly would love a Dota TCG. Not to play, but to get packs and new sets to open and collect, like with pokemon cards.
I got 3 of the aegises, gotta have to get em all. I just have got to.
I've seen some Dota pins, dolls, figurines and stuff, I'd love to see what people got!
Love this community btw <3
Have a great saturday!
After the nerf to his ult it feels terrible to play this hero, meanwhile he's still annoying to play against. Is arc in a bad spot now and how would him to be changed (if any)?
I received a notification that a match I recently played was penalized by Overwatch review, but it doesn't say which match. I played 3 games today, 1st was a win with me as MVP, but a 3 stack was raging in chat at me half the game. 2nd game we got totally stomped with 3 teammates going afk in jungle, but all the blaming was between 2 of the afk players. 3rd game was a loss, I didn't do well mid and got flamed a lot by a 2 stack. As soon as the game ended I got the notification so it seems too fast for someone to manually review that replay. I've never broken items or intentionally fed. Is it possible for Overwatch penalties to be automatic if enough people rage report?
In the field of psychology, classical conditioning would suggest the best way to train the desired behavior is to deliver the punishment or reward as closely as possible with the negative or positive behavior you're trying to reinforce. In an ambiguous situation like this, I'm not going to learn anything from receiving a punishment for something that happened at an unknown event over the span of a couple hours.
Please let people know which match was Overwatch punished so they can hopefully learn what not to do.
