Whenever I watch Qojqva or Gorgc, they seem to be highest mmr/drafting around 40-50% of the time. Looking at d2pt they each have a good mix of games where they are around or even below the average mmr of the game and ones where they are higher mmr than everyone.
But Mason seems to always be highest mmr/drafting. On d2pt, his highest average mmr game this week is 9.3k (Mason is at around 10.3k mmr right now) and every single game he gets safelane. Is this due to his behavior score? The time of day he plays? Gave gaben a $20 under the table?
In patch 7.20, five years ago, Valve changed randoming in all pick to exclude your least played 25 heroes (this is in unranked; I don't know about ranked). Since they added Muerta, I've randomed a hero in my least played 25 more than once. While the system appears to be bugged, the bigger problem is the system itself.
Those of us who like to random like to play and improve at all or nearly all heroes. Having to spam a newly released hero for >30 games in order to random it is inconvenient, but also gets increasingly burdensome the longer it is procrastinated. Moreover, it also means there has to be an old hero that can no longer be randomed.
This system can be resolved in the upcoming patch in a number of ways, most of which should be trivial. These include:
add a setting to enable randoming of least played 25 heroes
substitute the least played 25 heroes with 10 user-chosen heroes (dota labs?)
add a setting to choose to exclude least played 25 from the random pool, user-chosen 10, or none
disable the least played 25 restriction entirely
after 11.6k hours of playing dota (ranked/unranked/turbo/arcade) playing all roles from legend to divine. pure support from Divine to Immo.
Time to take a break.
I dont even know what everyone does or the items!
i spend my ban for AM- only am, but my teamamte still can pick it, how can it possible?
if i only ban 1 hero it must be 100% to ban it right?????
Hello! I decided to offer you a new version of Radiance!
Radiance
Within a radius of 1000, 25 magic damage, 25 physical damage + 25% of the damage of the main attack to all enemies within range are dealt with an interval of 1 second. Each such attack has a 15% probability of causing an attack effect (mjolnir, mkb, bash) if the hero has these modifiers (either items or abilities with attack modifiers are required).
Thanks!
Every player is guaranteed to ban 1 hero out of 4, so those are 10 bans.
there are also 6 "most commonly banned heroes in your bracket" in addition to the bans, so another 6 heroes if they aren't banned already.
I literally see Arc Warden my favorite hero being banned in 80% of the games if not more because of this horrible system. Keep the 10 bans and remove the rest please!
I recently got back into dota 2 after several years away. i was getting so angry about real world stuff so i thought to myself maybe i should get back into dota 2 and get angry about this madness instead. it seems better. then i see, no Bloodstone Storm. sad face, angry face, face face. what the actual fuck have you done? Bloodstone Storm was arguably one of the most difficult but also most fun builds to play in dota 2. You don't debuff Storm to the point of irrelevancy. you buff all the other characters to match him. personally i would also want ancient farming medusa but i'm not an unreasonable person so i'd be willin to accept the return of our beloved Bloodstone Storm and leave it at that.
Just waiting for next dota 2 pods to not even mention the Taiga drama. The entire dota 2 scene is in such deep shit with betting nobody wants to talk
Would you be interested in playing in a one day charity Dota tournament?
Entry fee would range from $20-$40 per person depending on interest.
Prize pool spilt would look like: 1st Place: 55% 2nd Place: 20% Top 50% of teams: 10% Charity: 15%
If it was popular we would love to run it maybe twice a month on Saturdays.
Our charity is for elder dogs and helping struggling pet owners with vet bills.
I need to expand my hero pool. Currently i only play ss, axe, riki or mabye darkseer.
Appreciate any input<3
B nice to check out my stats, but I don't know what system to sign up for
Dotabuff vs "dota plus" vs "stratz.com" vs overwolf/dotaplus, which is best?
Are they legal?
Will they give others an advantage in the picking stage if I only play 1 or 2 heroes?
All comments appreciated.
Been trying to find an uranked game for an hour now and every time someone cancels. must be close to 30-40 matches in a row. So dumb
I just played my first casual game and it was a disaster. 2 players disconnect on our team, 3 on theirs. I was with Juggernaut and in some point the enemy Sven started getting a lot of advantage in experience and just wrecked me all the time. Eventually, our numbers made we win (in a very ugly and noob way), but this level and gold difference made me think. I think i maybe spent too much time on jungle trying to get gold to my items, so my question is: When to stay farming on lane and when to go farm jungle?
Sorry for the sh*tty artwork, I'm not reallly experienced in drawing. Also I am VERY aware that the hero would be most likely either broken or lowkey unplayable and probably would need severe rebalancing treatment.
btw patch when
After spending a few minutes consulting a calendar, I’ve learned a few things about when we can expect the “mid-April” update. Here’s what I’ve found:
As of the time of this posting, it is April 9th, which is good news, because in just two days we will be in mid-April and the update could drop. Tomorrow, April 10th, will be even better, because we'll only be one day away from mid-April.
Personally, I hope Crownfall drops at the very beginning of mid-April because according to my calendar I surprisingly have nothing else going on.
Why can't I see my friends rank anymore? He is still in my friends list tho but it appears as "?"
This game ruined my life.
Hi guys,
