In act one look for the 'Future Site of Scree'Auk Temple' which is located at the bottom right of the map, near the finish line.

In act 3 you can use the shortcut on the left side of the screen named 'The library of Gorod'.

I do this public service announcement because I had something I wanted to buy for 2 weeks, but had no candy, until my friend pointed out that I could get free candy from the tokens I've already acquired in previous acts.

I do not know if act 4 gives us free candy and I can't find a vendor in act 2

We literally have unranked games for you to practice and turbo mode for theorycrafting. I'm sick of being in a team with a last pick offlane Spectre in a comp that doesn't have a tank or initiator, or facing off against an offlane Chaos Knight who siphons farm from pos 1 and offers nothing to their team and dragging their MMR down. I'm tired of the selfish Pos 2 Sniper who feeds either my mid when it's from the enemy team or the enemy mid if he's on my team then proceeds to trashtalk his teammates and siphons even MORE farm from pos 1 all the while finally finishing his Khanda and only using his ult without bothering to right click to deal damage.

"I'll play whatever I want and I don't care if my team loses, they suck anyway" "I'm practing CSing, stop killing me" and proceeds to forget that this is a team game. What kind of drugs are you guys on??? Just stop ruining ranked games if you're going to crap on people who are actually doing their best to win. Go play unranked Dota.

Here comes another kez hatepost. Man there is no counterclaim against kez as support. In early he just kills you. Maybe you can stun hin and kill him but then you die to his fucking katanga passive. Even better is in mid game where he attacks you for 3 sec and you dead. Like I'm fine with PA. She can snipe you with lucky hits in mid game. Or getting written for 1.5k late. But at least you can like kinda play around her. Kez just runs at you. Silence from 2 football fields away dispels shit with his ult then w into me and I die in 3 seconds. Did I dodge 7 out of his 10 attacks. Yes. Did I still die to his passive? Yes. Every time.

Playing vs kez is just stressful. Half of the supports can't play against him in any way.

We need to nerf his kit. Like I know he has low winrate rn but I can only imagine this to ppl not knowing how to play him good. But him having everything but true sight is just broken. Guy feels like a fucking lol hero.

Has anyone managed to get all three stars on the last level yet? I'm going insane, I've done perfect runs with no wasted ammo and 23 seconds and I still only get 1583. Someone please tell me it's actually impossible soI can stop trying.

I just really enjoy the song and love that if you find a game while playing, it keeps playing in the Pick Phase :)

Thank you to the DotA team for creating CrownFall. For this last Act I want to savor it for as long as I can.

For the previous acts I wanted to get to the end of the season quickly like binge watching a TV show. I played the heroes I was unfamiliar with to earn the corresponding tokens and some games weren't enjoyable because of it.

For Act IV I am going to play the heroes I am best at so I'll have a good game experience and I imagine my teammates will as well. It'll take longer, but I can use the scrap and token trader feature to eventually get to the end.

Also, thank you for everyone flagging their spoiler posts as spoilers if they have "binged" the last and final Act.

Do you think it's a new hero, Valve teases us a blank name start with the letter "B" we already knew it's bird samurai but we are wrong, KEZ is his name 😅, what do you think guys??

I'm sorry if this reddit server isn't the right place for that kind of question. Dota 2 simply doesn't have hero specific groups like league of legwnds communities have so I didn't know where to ask it.

My question is about which Role should Dirge be played, I only have about 1000 hours in dota 2(played original dota back in the day but stopped at some point and only about and started playing dota 2 only about 2 years ago) and I'm crusader player with MMR rating of around 1800. So as you may see I'm not generally good at the game yet. I have a theoretical idea on what every role's job is from internet guides but if I write anything wrong here pls correct me. From what I understood from those guides, hard support job is to make sure you pos 1 has a good time farming during laning phase and after laning phase it's buying all kinds of utility stuff like Wards, dust, smokes etc. While also providing your team with support from your abilities and active items. Meanwhile soft support job is mostly to look for plays alongside with pos 2 and ganking other lanes. Because of that I figured out that the most important tools for a soft support hero are: hard CC and engage tools. That idea fitted well with most popular soft supps in my elo like Spirit breaker, Tusk, Nyx Assassin, Earthshakerz Earth spirit etc. Etc.

Meanwhile most important tools in hard supp ability kit are rather: powerfull poke/burst dmg to pressure enemies from your carry and 1 high teamfight impact ability(like freezing field, Chain Frost, shallow grave etc.) To assure that they are still usefull even in late game.

Now to the point. Undying is one of my favourite heroes in the game. I always play him as pos 5 because his kit simply feels specifically designed for that role:

1. Decay is very pwoerfull vs most offlaners and some of the pos 4 heroes because most of them are strenght based so you also lower thei dmg alongdie with their HP
2. Soul rip is a nice ability to keep your allies alive or burst 1 enemy down if needed.
3. Tombstone is your powerfull teamfight ability that can work wonders if placed correctly
4. Flesh golem allows you to run most offlanes down early game creating tons of space for your carry.

Additional reasons are that when you play on safelane you have lots of space to run enemies down with your tombstone if they every overextend, meanwhile in offlane, enemies rarely have to walk away for more than couple of steps from their tower.

However, whenever I see somebody else picking support Undying, it's almost always pos 4, not pos 5. And The last time it happened I asked them about it and they said that I should "watch some pro-play because Undying is pos 4 only".

Undying pos 4 feels completely useless for me since he has 0 mobility/engage and 0 hard CC so he is terrible at ganking but maybe I have the wrong idea of how 4 undying should be played.

So the question basically is, which support position is undying best at(I know he also can be played as core pos 3 but this post isn't about it), and at which support role he should be played?
