Bought them to 3D print headphones. These are NIB and not even opened. If you want to see my 3d parts, you can find instructions and parts list here: https://tknx.github.io/posts/diy-aurora-borealis/
$75 shipped CONUS for all 10.
I'm chasing an Alps pot for a Creek integrated amp I just picked up. Obviously I'd prefer it to be genuine but will consider clones. Please let me know if you have one you're willing to part with! Thanks for any help :)
I recently built the 12p-sized frugal horn and removed the drivers, hook up wire, and terminal cups from these cabinets. The 12p sounds great in this cabinet, it was just time to build something new and I had the room for the larger FH-type enclosure. Rather than store them (they're big), I'd like to see them go to someone who can enjoy them.
The top and baffle are a butcher block and the sides/rear are a stained plywood. There's a little checking here and there and the cabinets could use a quick sand and fresh coat of poly, but they're structurally rock solid.
You can find approximate dimensions here: http://www.frugal-phile.com/boxlib/pensils/Pensil-Series-set-100711.pdf
Would trade for tubes, amplifier parts, woodworking tools (power or hand tools), bench equipment (power supplies, etc). They are located near Milwaukee. EDIT: THESE ARE GONE
Anyone interested in or know anyone who is interested in building me a pair of crossovers for a fee or trade for a custom set of enclosures?
I'd like to try a 4" single driver full range build - something that can give a wide response range and quality sound. They are for rear surrounds for gaming and multi-channel music. must be 4" as i already have boxes built with cutout.
Requirements:
max outer dia 125mm (4.92")
Baffle cutout min/max cutout 94mm - 102mm (3.70 - 4.015")
I'm sure some of you out there have bought drivers with good intentions and never followed through with a project/build.
SUB - I'm looking for a Preferably 4ohm DVC sub 10 or 12" - something that would be good for small HT or PC gaming setup & music listening. I'm using an MTX terminator right now but I'd rather have something more suited for real music, and would work well with a 80-100w amp (I'm using a cheap class d amp that is working quite well 2 ohms). Drivers i've been considering: Dual 8" Dayton SD215A-88, 10" Dayton SD270A-88 or a single 4 ohm dvc 12".
FULL RANGE: I have some nice little boxes already built - had some cheap 4' car coaxials in it but they sound crappy. I'd like to try a small single driver full range build - something like Dayton PC105, Tang Band W4-2142 4", Tang band W4-1337SDF or anything similar that can give a wide response range and quality sound. They are for rear surrounds for gaming and multi-channel music.
I would also consider a 2 way setup if crossovers were included...let me know what you have!
My wonderful wife got me (at my request) the Overnight Sensations DIY speaker kit from Parts Express. Well, here we are, 2 years later, and I have yet to build these things. So, I think it's time to let them go to someone who is lwil assemble them and enjoy them.
I like just outside of Philadelphia, PA and am looking for a local pickup. Paypal is fine, but since we're doing local pickup I'd prefer cash. I have done NOTHING with this kit, other than open the box it came in and make sure all the parts were there. Totally brand new. Been sitting in the corner of my family room for the last 2 years.

Title says it all! I have 4x 803s, 4x 809s, 2x 811A, 1x 811, and about 8x 1625s, 1x T-55, and 2x 866A. All NOS, about half in boxes (the others boxes literally fell apart in my hands). Most are WWII vintage JAN models. Looking for NOS 211/VT-4-C in trade. Let's work out a deal!
SOLD
I bought a Speedster speaker kit a while ago, but lost my work area before I was able to build the cabinets. Either looking for someone to build fully finished cabinets for me (please PM with estimate), or to sell my two-speaker kit for $200 + shipping to you. I'll also include high quality gold binding posts, damping material, and speaker wire. The crossovers have been fully assembled and all components are tested and working.
I also have an Audioengine N22 amp that I can include for an additional $70. From my sound tests, it was sufficiently powerful and sounded great (well, as great as it can sound without cabinets at least...)
Pictures are here.
I take PayPal Goods & Services payment only.
I'm ok with pretty much any brand, as long as the two tubes are from the same brand and test well. I really really want them to be globe shaped, and am looking to spend about 50 USD, maybe 60 MAX shipped. Preferably longish pins, I've seen some out there with really short pins, they should fit in a standard UX4 socket. I can pay with paypal(as long as it's not friend and family) or use credit card, whichever is easier.
If you are offering services (cabinets, CNC, 3D printing, etc), please post in this thread. Please include location, expected lead time, and shipping limitations where applicable. Links to an outside portfolio of work are allowed in this thread.
