We know for sure that Matt, Fisk, and Frank survived Thanos's snap. Which characters do you think got blipped?
That's it really.
I never got round to watching Punisher S2 when it came out, so I'm doing it now in my MCU rewatch. The first season was never my favourite out of the Defenders shows, but rewatching it I got a new appreciation for it and Frank as a character. Now, everyone always says that the second season is boring or a letdown, but man I'm really enjoying. Frank is really a rounded character, Jon is a great actor and has a lot of range in the role, I love Amy (don't get me wrong, I loved Frank and Micro's dynamic, but Amy brings something out in him that I was missing in S1) and I'm happy they gave Curtis something more to do. I'm not completely sold on what they did with Madani, though, and I don't think the Russo plot was necessary (I mean, it could have been 8-10 episodes without it, I wouldn't have been mad). I really like that the Pilgrim arc doesn't have anything personal to do with Frank , and I prefer him to Rawlins as a villain. It makes the show feel less up its own ass, less insular.
But yeah, pretty good stuff for now. I've still got a few episodes left, so I hope it ends on a high note.
i’m new to this whole defenders thing but i freaking love it. i watched daredevil and its the best series of all time but i’ve just started jessica jones and looked into watching the defenders after that but why only one season😢😢
I mean, sure, he's manipulating Dex here. But when Fisk is using words to manipulate people, his claims always have a kernel of truth to them (see how he spins himself as a "savior" in his press conferences). And to be honest, going back to season 1's flashbacks to Wilson's childhood and how Bill Fisk controls both his wife and son, I can totally buy that he wouldn't let Wilson chase girls or stay out late. So where the truth ends and where Fisk's manipulations begin is almost impossible to spot.
