The Tulip Stairs are one of the original features of the Queen’s House, London. This ornate, wrought iron structure was the first geometric self-supporting spiral stair in Britain. It is described as showing tulips but they are probably lilies, the royal flower of France. [1920x1279] [OC]

The Sumur Gumuling, located at the Taman Sari Water Castle in Indonesia, is a one-storeyed building that was used as a mosque. The central area of this building is an elevated platform where 4 staircases meet, and then from the platform, one staircase reach the first floor. 1758-1765 CE [1066x1599]
