Reding's Mill Swimming Pool in Joplin, Missouri was built in 1926 and served the area for almost 60 years. It was part of a resort development that included a golf course, boating facilities, and a casino. The pool closed in 1985.

So there's a plant near me that has been shutdown since 2016 at our convenience there's a public trail that goes past the security gate around the power plant but we have to jump a barbed wire fence im thinking of using a big car mat with holes in it and zip tying it to the fence so it won't go anywhere and using it as a fast in and out but what about security nervous about that I heard security still patrols power stations decades later not sure about this one though (btw if anyone is interested I'll get some photos and share them looking forward to the control room)

This is a medic army school that my family took back after they left it abandoned it was built in the 1950s from what I know my mob is wurundjeri (indigenous Australian) or also known as aboriginal in the 80s-90s my family took this back from the white man after everything that had been taken from us during the slavery days and stolen generation my family were here with no power no water nothing until the government finally decided to give it back to us but made a rule where we basically ain’t allowed to make any money of it directly so anyway this became home to me and all my cousins uncles aunties ect from then on there’s a lot of history here there was always a story a girl overdosed in that building but who knows what’s truth and what’s not when it was so long ago but from police harassment drug issues the usual you would see in any poor environment you could find here while I was growing up lots of good memories too tho anyway just thought I’d upload this with a little backstory if you want to look further into this kind of subject look up corranderk aboriginal mission or medic school Healesville

I tried to explore the cave again and took some more pictures this time. I went a bit further in with my phone flashlight, but the flashlight wasn’t bright enough when I got really deep into the cave. For some reason, the pictures look really clear here, but irl, the cave is almost pitch black, and I can only roughly see the ground even with my flashlight on. I think the cave is way bigger than what you see in the pictures, and it’s oddly quiet in there. My guess about this place is that it’s some sort of entrance to an amusement park or resort.
