Any NEW fall flavor cereals this year?

I’ve seen the Pumpkin Spice/Pie Frosted Flakes, Special K, Cheerios, and Frosted Mini Wheats, but all of those are returners from 2023. Anything new to try this season?

I am joining the milk first group

Today, I put a significant amount of cereal and then poured milk on it. Then, I heated it in the microwave, as I mostly drink hot milk. The milk went bad and as the cornflakes was already in the milk, the whole thing got ruined. The expiry date of the milk is 26th August, yet this happened. This actually happened a few times before as well, and I have had enough. Hence, from now on, I have planned to heat up the milk first, and then put cereal on it.

Cereals that didn't work...

Came across this photo going through my old pics. These were terrible. It was like a medicinal bubble gum flavor. Definitely a one and done bowl.

They ruined my favorite cereal

“How could they improve upon something already perfect?” I thought. I first noticed the pieces are duller in color. Upon taking my first bite, I was met with utter disappointment. These are so BLAND, they took away the chocolate flavor that made them so delectable. This is just boring and sad. I guess they taste more like KitKats now? But that’s not what made them good. The old version not only had a rich chocolate flavor, it also had a distinct vanilla/dairy/je ne sais quoi quality to it. Delicious. Perfect paired with freshly sliced strawberries. Delightful as a snack by itself. FIX THIS GENERAL MILLS!!!!!

Perhaps the best cereal on the planet

These are so hard to find in the US, I was wondering if anyone in this subreddit has tried them. If you know where to find them on the Miami area, please show me where.

Unusual Blue Frosted Mini Wheat

Pic related. Found in a bowl of otherwise normally shaped/coloured Mini Wheats. Anyone know what may have caused this? I was eating from an all-white bowl, so I’m gonna assume that’s not the cause.

Honey nut cherrios or Frosted Flakes maple cinnamon

Hi, I live in EU so we have very small variety of cereals. Some stores import them from US. Now they have imported these two variants and I am wondering which one I should take. Any suggrstions ?

Thanks :)

PSA: I bought freeze dried rice krispie treats online, and it was pretty darn close to eating Rice Krispie Treats cereal.

It got soggy much quicker than the cereal, but before it did, it tasted pretty much identical.

"Loaded" cereals--Krave by another name?

I gave into curiosity (and had a coupon), so today got the Cocoa Puffs LOADED cereal (one of several LOADED cereals filled with creme). I tried one dry and had a sinking feeling, because it reminded me of the signature siltiness of Krave. Then when I added milk, the resemblance became even more striking. The biscuit part turning to muck shortly after coming into contact with milk, leaving behind those oddly hard, tiny nubbins or pebbles of biscuit. The flavor was less off-putting than Krave but otherwise it was remarkably similar. Have you experienced the same?

Weetabix!

Tried weetabix while visiting family in Canada and became obsessed with it. It's the perfect cereal for me and made for such a filling breakfast. Because it's not widely available in the US, I bought 2 boxes to bring home with me and finally found a store near home that carries it so I don't need to buy it on amazon! If there are any other weetabix loving people out in southern CA, Gelson's is the place to go :)
