Hey there,

Following an odd discussion with my wife, I wanted to see how many of you have alternative names for various cereals. I grew up verbally referring to Frosted Mini-Wheats by the abbreviation "FMWs" to the point where that is just the word for that cereal and none of my family use its full name anymore. Fast forward, my wife thinks this is extremely weird and that we are only weirdos that do this. I tried looking around on the internet but a) it's a niche subject and b) it's honestly not that interesting or worth exploring lol so I didn't find much. Nevertheless, it's come up again and I wondered if anyone else calls them FMWs or has a similar story. Thanks for reading my first and exceedingly mundane reddit post!

My family had two cereal bowls. Now we have one, so I looked on the internet for these bowls, and found nothing! I love these bowls they are sturdy, they are decently sized, and have pictures of Kelloggs beloved cereal mascots. The only thing I can find is giveaways from the late 19somthings and that they give them away in Canada. Now I’m not from Canada, nor was I alive before 2000, so how did I get this bowl? I dont know it just showed up in our cupboard one day when I was a child. I just need to know that I’m not the only one who had these bowls. Also if there’s a chance that Kellogg will #bringthebowlsback

I've always had a weird way of categorizing different cereals. They can either be floaters, like Cocoa Puffs or Captain Crunch, or sinkers, like Cocoa Pebbles or Chex. I've always liked the latter cereal type more because you can fit more of it in your bowl before it overflows. I'm sure I'm the only one who’s thought about this. But what do you think? Do you have a preference?
