2013 cadillac cts The driver side door & back passenger door wont unlock or lock with the door button or keyfob. Would it be something mechanical or a blown fuse?

Ok so here's the deal . I have two choices

A. I dod delete and manual swap my g8 gt (I have a holden harness along with the parts lined up)

B. I say screw it , sell the harness and buy a ctsv sedan with a manual .

Both cars (minus the manual swap) Would be stock minus bolt ons (mild "optimization" tune , cold air , cat back)

Sell me on the ctsv manual sedan. I drive 88 miles round trip for work a day . I know the g8 is reliable , will the v2 be as reliable if not more ? I already know parts will be hands down easier to find aside from the typical GM shared parts on the zeta platform (blew out a strut on g8 and that was a bitch to find a set in stock that wasnt 2 to 3 weeks out )

manual is a must , the g8 is the first auto i have bought in 20 years.

Looks black in the shade and at night, but when the sun or lights hits it, it looks blue.

Anybody else have their V just sitting. Mines been sitting for about a year now due to me traveling for work and sometimes I just miss how it rides.

alright guys. this is beyond my comprehension apparently. i have this 03 cts and the timing belt broke at low rpm. i anticipate it didn’t bend any valves i pulled plugs and borescoped didn’t see any damage on the pistons. Replaced belt to correct timing, triple checked everything. crank no start. i’ve searched forms and everything possible. i know for a fact it’s installed correctly. looking for any insight or suggestions anyone might have.

has spark has fuel has air has correct timing

not sure about any sensors that could of went bad. this car sat for about 6 months before i could get to the belt replacement. let me know. thanks!

Hello! Does anyone know if Cadillac STS SeVille parts are compatible with Cadillac ElDorado parts? I have a SeVille STS and I need some interior parts. I see that ElDorado is similar in the dashboard, has anyone tried something similar?

Looking for some opinions from someone who has owned both. Was looking at ATS-V and CT4V Blackwings and decided they might be too tight for my liking.

Whatever I get will be my daily driver and our spare vehicle if something happens to my truck or my wife’s suv.

That being said, creature comfort wise is there anything that would steer anyone away from a V3 vs the 5? I know CUE sucks in the V3s. All the rage is 360 cameras and super cruise in new cars, but I could live without them just fine. Besides those are there any major gripes?

Performance wise, obviously the 5 will be better, but, how much better would I really need if I plan to maybe track this thing once a year at best? Is the 8 speed that bad?

Leaning towards a clean V3 for 25-30k less..

I have a 2025 XT4. It has sign recognition where it posts the speed limit in the HUD; that worked fine for a couple of weeks but now it only displays two dashes. I have checked all the settings and cannot figure how what has changed. Any ideas before I call the dealer?

Was looking for some advise as ive ran into an issue. My camshaft(exhaust side) had broke due to the vacuum pump going bad. Went to buy a new one and its pretty much impossible to get one. They are on extreme back order even at the dealership. Does anyone know where i can get one and or an aftermarket one?

I got a 3.6 05 STS a couple months ago. Everytime time I fill up gas, I doesn't start right away (even at half tank of gas remaining it does this). I have to gas it to get it to stay on and shift it into drive without cutting off. Also, the car with just no start at all sometimes. The lights all work and the accessories work, but I would have to jump the starter (with a paperclip, my friend showed me) and it cranks and starts. When I jump the starter this way, the brake assist constantly kicks and auto brakes while driving.

I have sent it to the shop a few times, and I'm on the fence of getting a new car because I'm kinda getting irritated of constantly getting the "your car is good to go", and "we think it's fixed" but it's not

Keeping trying to fix it or count my loses?

Or has anyone faced similar issues, and if so, what did you do?
