Anyone know where to buy a new strap for ue wonderboom 3 online? Ripped Mine other day
I have a Vanzon v40 speaker (save any judgement idc that much.)
I enjoy it, and it's usually plenty loud for what I'm looking for. My only issue is when I'm in a voice call on Discord. As soon as I join the voice call, the volume on whatever else I'm playing cuts to maybe 30%. This continued even when I connected a headset and put all Discord audio on that. Is there any way to retain the volume from other programs while in a voice call?
My speakers have 80% stated battery, but for some reason the sound keeps cutting out. Never had the problem til today.
Hey everybody!
I am Dominik, a product design engineering student in the UK, I would love to know your thoughts on a modular speaker. The idea is that you would be able to repair the speaker and alter its aesthetic and functional features through an intuitive snap-fit mechanism.
It would be extremely helpful if you could fill out this short survey to aid my design process!

Feel free to reach out to me personally if you have any more thoughts or questions.
Thank you!
As the title says, fast tutorial for connecting 2 Bluetooth speakers at once to your pc.
(More than 2 if you buy the software)
Gives really good effect if placed right and playing with volume variations. ^(Just like in the club.)
Requirements:
* Windows PC with Bluetooth
* 2 Bluetooth speakers
* 4 songs of free time
tldr:
Download, install, choose line 1 as input and your speakers as output, change delay, adjust volumes.
I recommend to play with spacing and volumes of the speakers. Finetuning the eq if available is a nice touch.
I appreciate any feedback and want to work further on this tutorial if i missed something in troubleshooting, let me know in the comments.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Software to download:
https://vac.muzychenko.net/en/download.htm
Remember to download the VAC 4.70 LITE version! Not the trial, as it will continually play "trial" sounds.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Steps:
.1. Check if your computer have the ability to connect simultaneously to your Bluetooth on pc. Keep them connected and make sure they are both able to be selected as audio source from our taskbar icon/windows options
Download the software as mentioned above.
Proceed to install the software, basic install. No extra options chosen, follow the recommendations.
After installing the VAC, open Audio Repeater MME which you should find under windows start menu or in files probably : C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Virtual Audio Cable
Open the Audio Repeater once again, so you have 2 windows open at once.
Change the settings ^((recommended)) or leave the default ones, in both Audio Repeater MME window**.**
- Sample rate at 96000khz work best for me in terms of clarity and quality.
- Setting it too high may cause delay problems. Remember VAC Clock mode, to be set as input on one of the speakers as it helps to sync.
- Wave In: is always set as Line 1 (VAC)
- Wave out: your Bluetooth speaker of choice, one in each Audio Repeater MME window**.**
Try to start the service of one speaker and listen to see if its working fine.
Try to start the service of the other speaker and listen if the sound is fine.
8/7.1 * If problems occurred, see the troubleshooting under all the steps, only the delay is natural.
- Total Buffer amount shouldn't be less than 100ms. If you need to manipulate one of your speakers to make sound even and without delay, listen to which speaker is ahead of time and manipulate the ms up 101, 102, 103... its a game of trial and error.
- From there you can click the arrow on the right side of the speaker (source should always be Line 1 (VAC)).
- Turn off surround sound and audio enchantments on both speaker from there ^(*)
- From the same place, you can adjust the separate volume for speakers or do it with the buttons on your Bluetooth speakers. Do it as you like, i recommend playing around with where to space which speaker.
My recommendation is: smaller speaker under the screen, facing you, and bigger speaker behind/on the side minimum 1 meter away from you.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Troubleshooting
Windows Settings > System > Sound or for pro users VAC Control Panel in the same folder as MME
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cant control the volume - look in taskbar for a speaker icon where you can find more settings and make use of Audio Repeater MME volume slider. There is also an Volume Control option in VAC Control Panel
Bad sound quality - Restart VAC program, play around with sample rate or prefill settings, check volume buttons on the speaker itself.
Connection problems - restart devices / pc / only the pc should be connected to the speakers, drop phone Bluetooth connection.
Can't see both speakers connected - Step 1 again. If doesn't work, probably your Bluetooth connection doesn't support it.
Only one speaker is playing - check if the windows audio source is set to Line 1 (VAC) or Step 6 again.
I manage a convenient store and I wanted to put a speaker behind the counter to be able to talk to my employees when I’m not present. I wanted to know if there is a speaker that lets me talk into my phone to be able to communicate with my employees.
Are they really selling for the prices I keep seeing when I look for another one ? One in charcoal like mine is over $800 au.
I purchased my soundcore motion+ speakers four years ago and I wasn't the first wave. Besides the UBoom L, it's the litmus test and highly recommended for those who want a balanced and clear sound.
Why haven't other manufacturers or even Soundcore come out with an upgraded competitor to this speaker? There are other speakers with better bass, longer battery, etc but the motion+ is still a top speaker after five years.
I sold out all my old hi fi equipments and i want to buy a New models. Please If you Could give to me some advice i ll really apréciate Tnx
So I have heard JBL Sony and all the famous boombox’s I didn’t get to hear them that much but I understand what there trying to do, this Edifier MP700 just beat it all, it has a sexy retro look and is insanely durable AND water and dust resistant, it has AUX USB for charging devises and most importantly incredible sound especially for the size, the lows are very very VERY punchy deep and tight, you can definitely feel it, the mids are really warm but with fantastic clarity especially in vocals, the highs aren’t fatiguing but still veryyy bright and has nice sparkle to it, the detail is fantastic same with imaging and soundstage, extremely loud sound and the sound is enhanced so it sounds extremely full with tons of warmth and body, the reason I call this a portable workhorse is because it’s very lightweight so you can go have a dance party out in the rain blastin em and then do the same inside and after hours and hours and hours of doing that you go home and put it on your desk to play games or watch videos, it’s built to be traveled with everywhere and built to be always in use from DJ lab to home, the Bluetooth could be better and the battery isn’t as good when compared to the competition but in terms of build and sound this delivers
Hi Everyone! I'd appreciate it if anyone happens to know of a quality shower speaker that lasts longer than a year or two (like the last couple speakers I've had)! It would be nice if it was loud as well so that the sound can swallow me up so to speak.
It's gonna go on sale on 11.11 and I can get it with vouchers for 77 usd in my country
My jbl party box 120 fell in water when it was inside the box …. Left it just like that …. Not using it ….. have a doubt wether it’ll work or not???? Please help
I'm curious as to the amount of people who can and cannot hear the difference between the Hifi codecs (LDAC, Aptx series) and the basic ones (AAC, SBC). Which one are you?
Different speakers, but which is best head to head strictly based off sound. Any anticipated Black Friday deals for either? Thanks
Hey I'm looking for speakers that would receive the audio from my computer (wired or bluetooth) then send that audio to my airpods once paired.
Sometimes I want to connect my airpods to my computer but the wifi+bluetooth card on it doesn't pick them up. Wondering if I use speakers as the middle man here
Hey everyone,
I want to get a mobile speaker (system) for rather specific use cases and wondered if you could help me make my choice.
After researching this sub and others I came across the Minirigs as one of the common recommendations for this use case. However, the many negative reports of bad quality control and wonky Bluetooth connectivity kind of scare me of. I also think the price is quite steep. The complete 2.1 setup I think of would cost close to 500€. Additionally, a single Minirig as a mobile monitor only provides mono sound.
The other option I’m considering is the Soundcore Motion+. It is available right now for 70€ and offers great sound quality for the price, from what I hear. I could get two right now and add the minirig sub later, as it matches the sound profile of the Motion+ quite well, according to Alan Ross. For the 2.1 setup, I thought I could go with a RCA-3,5mm from my controller to the sub, then split the signal from the subs out into left and right into the two motion+’s. If there’s a problem with this idea I’m happy to hear!
I also looked into the Motion Boom Plus, but I think it’s overkill for what I’m going to use the speaker for most of the time (at home and as a monitor). Although it is also available right now for a relatively low price of 110€ on the Soundcore website. Just thinking of it, I could maybe just get the motion+ as well as the boom plus for the same money as a single minirig, and be settled for all the needs I described above, albeit at a lower sound quality than with a true 2.1 setup.
What are your recommendations for my use case?
Hello, i want to see if there is something better than the Sonos Roam 2 or the Bose Soundlink Flex 2 that has a good frequency response, this two speakers have very good treble quality and im thinking i could pair 2 of them with a sub to get a decent 2.1 system. I already own some Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 6 that have more bass but this other two have better highs, also adding a sub would sound better than the harman, the only downside i see is that unlike the harman the bose and sonos dont have aux, the bose is just bluetooth and the sonos doesn't have stereo trough bluetooth only wifi.
So i think the sonos roam 2 is bit better than the bose flex 2 for the purpose that i want, that is to make a 2.1, the bose is just fine for a portable simple solution, but the sonos have more potential if you want to invest in it.
I use to think this whole "latency issue" with Bluetooth was just folklore that parents told their children in order to get them to eat their vegetables. After all, I've never had the issue while using my headphones or speaker to play video games or watch movies (Sony xm3/xm4 buds, jbl flip 6). I recently bought the soundcore motion 300 to replace the flip 6 because it plays hifi. I just went on a trip and will be gone awhile and brought the soundcore. Dammit, I'm finding out first hand that I'm not the only person on the planet who didn't have hearing problems.
I'm gonna have to trip to get rid of this speaker now, or just toss it, or give it away for free. I need a new speaker ASAP. How is the latency on the bose soundlink flex gen 2?
Hi guys, I am looking for very good sounding Bluetooth or wired speakers for music. I would use in the kitchen in combination with a tablet, so it's stationary. If there are any worth wired options I would take them too, because of the stability and better sound quality. Mostly I sound to vocals and oldies. Bob Dylan, Sting etc. pp less newer stuff. Budget is like $100. What can you recommend?
Hi,
I am looking for a speaker for my home and I am not sure what to pick. I own an old Bose Soundlink and it is time to buy a new one. Main things I am looking in the speaker:
First thing I checked is Sonos: the Roam seams very similar to the Bose Soundlink and not power enough, while the Move is full of features that I would not use. I am considering to spend a lot for the Move, but is it worth it?
I than move over to something like the JBL Charge 5 and JBL Xtreme 4. The charge again looks not powerful enough. The Xtreme 4 looks quite tempting, probably a bit expensive. It does not have the 3.5 audio in though.
From there I found the Soundcore Boom 2 Plus that, ehi, it has all that I need. I am not sure I like it visually, apparently it is somehow big, but the comparison with the JBL Xtreme 4 seems all in Boom 2's favour (price and sound power, not sure aobut sound quality). It has the same price of the JBL Charge 5... Today I am going for the Boom 2, quality / price (150€) seams so much better than the other options.
Finally google suggested me an article about the Tronsmart S100 / Bang. It is very cheap, apparently the sound is ok (not great), but looks powerful enough to me. Yet the Boom 2 is a bit more expensive but gives much more.
Anything I am missing?
Thanks all!
I’m looking for a Bluetooth speaker that can last five hours on one charge
Is it justifiable to spend twice as much on the Flip 6 compared to the Tribit XSound Plus 2? I'll primarily use it indoors, but I require excellent clarity, sufficient bass, and volume. The Flip 6 is available for 8.5k, whereas the Tribit is priced at 4.7k.
Hello. I just purchased a couple of uboom l’s
I want to be able to tie them into the app and from my reading it looks like a possibility with an update. I am not really tech savvy so my question is if it is relatively easy to do? I have a computer and the right cable. If I follow one of the links will it be easy and I won’t have to worry about screwing up the speaker. I haven’t done anything this involved so it is a new venture. Thank you!
Flip 6 - Mono not sure if it actually supports AAC or not would prefer AAC over the standard SBC codec
Soundcore Motion 300 - HiRes - LDAC and AAC
UE Wonderboom 4 - not sure if AAC but Stereo
Sony ULT Field 1 - supports SBC and AAC but is Mono
Soundcore Boom 2 - seems to be only SBC
