Roomba J7+ Combo OR J7+ & Braava Jet M6

Ok, it's been 20 years since I owned a robot vacuum and I need some help deciding between these as they are steeply discounted right now for black friday over here in Canada. My research is showing it's better to get the J7+ & Braava Jet M6 but would like you thoughts on this.

J7+ & Braava Jet M6 = US$620 + tax
J7+ Combo = US$714 + tax

What do you guys think? Any other better alternatives at this price range?

Is Lefant M320 Good?

There is a great cyber Monday sale going on right now, but I don’t know if it’s worth it. The reviews seem a bit fishy since there are a ton of foreign ones so it looks like they review botted it.

Does anyone have experience or knowledge on them? Thank you in advance!!

Best for ONLY carpet

Who can guide me to best vac under 800. For 1 floor of house that's ONLY CARPET. Lots of long hair, sock fluff. Auto empty bin is a plus! (I've watched all videos already, confused at this point as most don't show a carpet score ) I don't care if there's a mop feature. Just need best at vacuuming Thank you!!

Help to pick a Robot Mop cum Vaccum for Indian Countryside home

Hello All,

Need help in picking up a robot cleaner for our house in rural India. It's a house with lot of open spaces so gets lot of dust on everyday basis. Househelps are inconsistent. It's a large house with around 4000 sq ft area. Have checked Dreame, Narwal and Ecovac flagship models but confused regarding service support in our region and working in a large household.

Points to consider:

  1. Should be vaccum plus mop
  2. Can support multi floor functionality
  3. Looking for brand who have great service since it's away from metros, have had bad experience with Bosch dishwasher in past regarding this.
  4. Budget is around INR 100,000
  5. It's a tiled floor with a couple of carpets.

Thanks in advance

Shark AI Ultra RV2502 not sending notifications to my phone

I just got it today, it's got my house mapped. I've had it do a full house clean and am in the process of having it do the "matrix clean" on each individual room. While it was in the bathroom I shut the door so it could clean behind it, thinking it'd notify me when it was trying to return to base. But it did not. It just kept going in circles until I noticed it on 20% battery. It hasn't sent a single notification to my phone but I can hear the robot itself make beeping sounds to let me know at least. Also, I only got this model bc it said it wouldnt let hair tangle in it, but I've already had to cut a bunch of hair off the roller

Best model in terms of price/quality

Hi, I am looking to replace my 6-year old Xiaomi vacuum cleaner (not actually sure what the type is), because I want one that also mops. Since we have a pretty clean household, I don't think we need an expensive powerhouse. However, after 3 hours of research, I can't see the forest for the trees anymore.

Given the environment/requirements below, which robot vacuum would you recommend?

- Couple with no kids or pets
- Hay fever and allergic to dust (partner has asthma)
- Should have mopping functionality
- Little to no clutter on the floors
- 100 m2 apartment
- Price is important
- Low maintenance: Preference for a vacuum/base that is easy to clean
- Cleaning speed is irrelevant

Since I was happy with my current Xiaomi model, I was looking at the Xiaomi x20+ (it is pretty cheap). However, I rarely see people recommended that model. Why not?

I would be happy with any tips or advice from people who have more experience than I do!

What is a genuine review anymore? Just want to upgrade my bObsweep.

1100 sqft of hardwood, tile, rugs and yoga mats (for the dog), one small short haired dog, and yes, some dreaded wires.
Open to vacuum and mopping or just vacuum.
Budget is wide open.
Everything I read looks like a sneaky ad. I've been reading for a couple of months and going round in circles.
Is VacuumWars on YT trustworthy?
I've probably missed all the BF deals, but that is okay. Just don't want to buy a dud.

So many, which one to get

Hey everyone,

m in the market for a new robot vacuum and could really use some advice. I've been researching different brands and models but still can't make a decision. Here are the ones I'm considering (in no particular order):

  • Roborock Qrevo Curv (currently out of stock)
  • Dreame L40
  • Narwal Freo Z
  • Roborock Qrevo Slim

For context, I have:

  • 3 dogs (a mix of long and short-haired, and yes, they shed a lot)
  • 1 kid

Any insights or personal experiences with these models would be super helpful! Thanks in advance!

Simple Context but definitely need some feedback for first robot - A bit confused with all models

Hello everyone,

I've been able to read many reviews, many posts here, watched tons of videos.
I thought I knew what I needed or wanted but there are many options that I'm still a bit unsure which one should be the best.

Here's a bit of context:

Based in Europe
Mostly hard floor (tiles)
No pet
No kid
No carpet
Surface area 120m² (1291sqft)
Not that many obstacles
Budget: 1200€

I was thinking :

1- Roborock QRevo Curv
--> Extra features not that needed (for pet/hair, for being able to cross up-to-3/4cm obstacles)
But somehow really good performance, mop is clearly ok, "quiet",

2- Dreame L40 Ultra (was not sure about big differences with X40)
--> Bit cheaper, as good as Roborock for my theoritical usage.
A bit worried about QC / Customer Support etc.

3- Roborock QRevo Master
Why paying extra when the master suits all the need as well?

4- Anyone I missed? I started reading and watching about Eufy or Narwal but don't really know... I appreciate that Nawal Freo Z seems to have a really nice mopping system but would need to go back and forth to the station to wet the mop pads?

Shark 2 in 1 2600 WD

Juat got this robot vac. I got it going and try to start the mapping and it tells me to remove the fluid reservoir. For the life of me I cannot figure it out! I've tried watching numerous videos and they are all for different models. Honestly looks like reservoir and dust collector are 1 piece. Any guidance?

Any reviews on Dreame e20?

There’s barely any. And this isn’t listed on their website. However, it’s sold on Costco.

Only reviews I see are Ukrainian e-commerce sites and Japanese youtube videos.

I also don’t know what filter and bags are compatible. I think it’s Z10.

I bought it at Costco because I know they will make returns easy. I was so close to buying Roborock Q5+ but it’s not on Costco Canada and I heard Roborock service is horrible.

I will report my personal review later.

Best option for outdoor patio

Looking for a robot vacuum that can deal with smallish leaves, dirt, the occasional dog pee. It’s a polished concrete patio. Want something that I can clean really well because of the concerns around dog pee smell, possibly something I can use pet grade disinfectant in the mop water. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks.

All these review channels tell you to buy new

They want your money. Do yourself a favor and get the dreame x40 ultra on eBay for 799. Best robot hands down. 0 regrets owned 3 roborocks. Item was brand new. Keeping this post simple you can listen or you can glaze roborock. The truth is dreame has gotten leaps and bounds ahead.

Roborock Qrevo Curv, Master, or Pro?

We live in a 2 bedroom apartment. We have 1 dog. We both work a lot and don't have a lot of time to clean. What would be the best bang for our buck. We are leaning towards the Master but want to know if the Curv would be a big difference.

These are the costs right now for Black Friday / Cyber Monday and main differences in features

Eufy X10 Pro Omni or Ecovacs T30S AI (or Pro)

Q revo S and Pergo

I've got the laminated fake wood floor as well as tile with grout. I will end up with a low pile are rug. Q Revo S looks good, on sale for the holiday as well. Looks like a lot more vacuum power than I currently have, and adds mopping.

My concern is the faux floor. Is the mopping from this unit going to damage the pergo? Should I be cleaning that by hand instead?

Also, is it a good sale on this unit? Or is it the common price dressed up as a deep discount?

Robot vacuum websites

So I know for a lot popular products, especially sports stuff, you can find apps or websites like sideline swap where you can get basically the exact same thing for the same quality for a lot cheaper of a price. Does anyone know websites or apps for robot vacuums like that

Is there a consensus here on the best vacuum cleaner? Dreame X40/L40 Ultra or Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra

Hi Folks!

I've been doing some research and in quite a few reviews Dreame came out on top, Now I'm not familiar with Dreame as a company that much and I don't know how reliable their products are, but I've looked at Vacuum Wars reviews and ratings and it was very strange to see Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra rating so low even lower than Eufy X10 Pro Omni.

Based on Vacuum Wars ratings Both Dreame X40 Ultra and Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra have inferior navigation compared to Dreame L40 which is the best I can find in my region. (no Qrevo curv or slim)

We live in a 70sqm apartment with a double coated dog that sheds a lot and there's a lot of clutter on the floor so navigation is really important, I like as much automation as possible (without the fill and drainage system), so I would very much appreciate if I didn't have clean the rollers from dog hair that often.

What's your objective opinion?

Thanks!

Shark

I love my Shark! For the last year or maybe two It keeps up with two large dogs and about 6 cats…plus their spilled kibble. It is easy to clean out, it self empties (mostly), its coverage is pretty good However, I have one minor and one very frustrating issue with it that I am hoping you can help with.

  1. The mop bucket part doesn’t lock on tight and so while mopping, if it goes over a big bump or transition, she throws an error that her dust bin is disconnected. It’s pretty simple fix…I just push it back on a couple times and she is good, but that’s frustrating.
  2. The iPhone software….the software sucks ass. It regularly forgets my device exists which means re-adding a robot and remapping the house. I have learned that, if you use the same name…she won’t reconnect. You must rename her in order to re-add her. However…through all of this…she seems to maintain her schedule lol

2a) minor addition - why can’t I schedule more than one session a day or specify rooms for each session? Seems like it would be pretty simple.

Is there alternative control software for her?

Clearly this happened today and I am frustrated but I am really hoping someone has soon this and can either commiserate or even say “hey, dummy…did you….?” And that this will be what I have missed.

Thank you in advance for either one.

What should I get

My entire downstairs is hardwood. I'm interested in vacuum and mop features. Right now I am looking at a Q8 Max+ that seems to fit the bill without costing an arm and a leg (this is probably the top of my budget)

Is there anything else out there with both decent mopping and vacuuming for slightly less? Or something else I should be getting in the same price range?

What robot from Xiaomi, roborock or Dreame has rotating mops and one of them extendable?

Hello, is this extendable arm for one of the mops worth it? I am not sure if I should go for the Roborock Q-revo s that only has rotating mops but no extending arm. I know the Q-revo Maxv has this feature also. Ar there any more that have it? Thanks.

Looking for recommendations that work well with Alexa

I use Alexa to control certain things in my home and previously had my old Roomba hooked up to it but the command was basic "clean up" and it would clean everywhere, but I'm looking for one where I can tie specific Alexa commands to specific rooms like "Alexa clean my bedroom" etc. does anyone know of a robovac with this kind of functionality or is it just wishful thinking?
