Has anybody else noticed the striking similarity between Bregovic's Kalashnikov and the Romanian folk tune Ciocârlia (allegedly composed by Angheluş Dinicu)? The two are nearly identical. Is this due to typical musical roma elements or simply plagiarism?
I think it's Balkan or Circassian but any one that knows Eastern European music, can somebody please tell me the name of this song I've been trying find it for a long time now. Thank you! https://m.youtube.com/shorts/QKvg6ug1-Ro
Hello, everyone! I'm struggling to find a video on youtube. It was of a deejay (can't remember his name) that played some balkan remixes of 90s hits like Barbie Girl, No Good, Coco Jambo and so on. The title of the video was something like "Hitovi 90 Balkan Remix". The thumbnail featured a bearded, solid guy on a purple background. Here's the kick: all songs were played in a drajf style. Thank you all!
